Liozu had been about to protest the order that he stay on the castle grounds, but shrugged, slumping back against his seat once again. It was the smart thing to do, after all, with only one Knight in Draqueen. Besides, if he went out into any trouble as he was now... Rubbing at his eyes with one hand, Liozu yawned. "Illusia? Could dreams be any indication of something important, if they feel as if..." What was he supposed to say? Frowning, Liozu wanted to joke what he'd just say away and hide this part of him again, but he needed to share. To ask someone. Not jsut reveal everything just yet... "If they feel as if they're real?" He finally found a word that was suitable, gave up the serious frown, and flashed a cheery grin to take off the sharp, nervous edge that he noticed had given his words a razor edge.

The Yellow Dragon Officer looked up from a paper he had just turned to, and met Liozu's gaze. The dragon frowned slightly at the knight for a moment, as if trying to pinpoint what the other had tried to walk around, then his face straightened out and he shrugged lightly.
"I guess that depends on how you view dreams personally... but if it was really real, and almost felt like something that has happened or will happen or is happening, you could use the dream to try and prevent something, or at least lessen its effect. If you have a vivd dream about an attack while at war, like we are, you might take some of the signs or warning in the dream into mind... Especially if it went bad in the dream because you didn't. Have you been having troubling dreams, Liozu?"
The officer looked at him calmly with a light concern in his eyes. Even if Liozu sometimes made a mess and joked around he was still valuble to them and a part of their court. It was the Dragon Tribe's duty to protect the land and people living in it... Or rather, it was the Dragon Court's duty, other members of the Dragon Tribe weren't forced to join the ranks, no one should ever be.

Shrugging, Liozu smiled brightly, both thankful for the answer and to, for now, distract. "Ah, no. Not really." If you discount the one about me dying... and fight--sparring with whoever it is... "Had some trouble sleeping because of the dreams, though... and sometimes they just come in the middle of the day, which is really the real problem." Liozu sighed as he admitted the real problem, tugging on his short pony-tail. The dreams might be troubling-interesting, but the real trouble lay with that they happened during the day too, and then he zoned out. Without his say-so.
He knew, just knew, that if he could just figure out who the other person was, he'd solve the problem and the dreams would stop. Well, he thought so, anyway. He didn't know know, of course, since who was there to ask about things like this?

Illusia nodded in understanding. "I see. Why don't you try to go over the dreams again and see if there's something you've missed and then get a long rest? I doubt, or hope, that nothing will be bothering us this early on in his majesty's absence. But if you have any problems or need help or advice I'll be in my office, there was quite a bit to do today so I'll be working late." The officer said with a smile.

That seemed like as good an idea as any, so Liozu got up and left Illusia's office, frowning as he walked. The first dream had been him dying. He knew that it was him, but also that he wasn't upset at dying. Angry at his opponent... no, that didn't fit? Tentative friend? Something like that. He'd been angry, but not upset, or even surprised, at dying. Then sparring. And snatched of sentences and words, nothing whole.
When he almost walked into a pillar in one of the larger halls, Liozu stopped thinking on the dreams until he was safely in his own room and could throw himself on his bed. Staring up at the ceiling, he once again wondered what that other man's name was. It was important, and would clear everything up, he knew. Was certain of. Purple hair and red eyes... where had he heard about that before...?
Rain. *I'll kill you, Liozu* Rain in a lush, green garden. *I know. It's alright, though.* Rain on his skin, hissing and bouncing off the dull metal blades brandished in the space between them. His own brown hair straggling into his face, his friend... no, opponent now, but it was hard to think of him as such... his friend's purple hair falling to cover his narrow eyes. THe blade was clean. For now. Then the former Dragon Knight of Wind charged. "NA--" Breath whooshing out of him as if he'd had to block against something that wasn't there, Liozu jerked upright, eyes wide as the name was finished in his head. --DIL. Nadil.
Confused, and still half-asleep, Liozu staggered up from his bed and rushed through the corridors. He had no idea how late it was. Didn't much care.

Far from the safety and calm of the castle, out upon the wild ocean between Dusis and Arinas storm clouds were thick and there was hell to pay for anyone inside that godforsaken mess...
Winds were beginning to whip around the large boat as it left the calm of the eye of the storm and went into the mayhem again. Someone or something was going to become sacrifice for the hungry waves... and it was only a question of when.
The ship began to rock violently, always making the crew and passengers believe that that rocking would be the last one, the one turning them 180 degrees. Angry waves crashed down upon the enforced wood as if trying to smash the construction to bits or at least sink it. But the sturdy vessel wasn't going down without a fight it seemed... and the fight was just beginning.
A yell from above was faintly heard in the cabins below. Had someone fallen overboard? Or had they sighted land or even the end of this nightmare? Whatever it was, and no one of the passengers would get to know for a long while, the boat suddenly raised and was then flung... Whoever wasn't holding onto something would be thrown off their footing... if they now had one to beging with. For the ones that were lucky, their heads would knock into something so that sweet unconsciousness would claim them and for those not as lucky... a violent hell was beginning.
((=OOOO THE SUSPENSEEEEE! ... Do you hate me now? =D))
Illusia jumped into the air and whirled around, almost loosing his balance as the door to his office slammed open. It was a wonder no one woke up from the loud noise the officer would have mused... if he had had the chance. Staring with wide, pale yellow eyes at the person to enter the room at this late hour the dragon slowly put the book back onto a shelf that he had just picked it from.
"L-liozu? What's wrong? You look pale." The officer let his hands drop to his sides but didn't walk towards the knight, the poor boy looked half awake and he didn't want to scare him.

The sentence seemed to wake Liozu up a bit, as he staggered against the open door and inside, enough to close it behind him. "I... had a dream. Nadil... wasn't he the former Dragon Knight of Wind?" Liozu asked, wanted to confirm what he knew from the dream. All he could remember from his history lessons were that Nadil had been the Youkai Lord. Which certainly wasn't the same as a Dragon Knight. But he also knew what the dream had told him.
"I don't get it. How many times do you live?" Liozu's hands were flung out to encompass everything, smile chased somewhere as he bit his lower lip confused and staggered over to slump down in a sofa. Too little sleep, too much to worry about. Wait. What he just said..? Could something like that happen?

((D= And shishi had to goooo. Boo. XD Please don't come running in just yet, Aiketh! ..... that rhymed. >_>; ))
The Yellow Officer could only stare at the Earth Knight and what he had said. Nadil... Shaking his head lightly, Illusia walked over to an armchair beside the sofa and sat down, there had indeed been something bothering the knight... Well, better a little late than too late. The man thought as he dragged a hand over his face. Liozu's last sentence about 'how many times you could live' echoed in his head. There was something here... something they needed to dig up and make clear.
"Nadil..." Illusia started, pausing both to gain the brown haired dragon's attention as well as rake through his memory. Nadil... that was a long time ago, a really long time ago. "He was he Dragon Emperor Lykouleon's enemy, the Youkai Lord of Kainaldia, but before that... he was the Dragon Knight of Wind. He betrayed the Dragon Tribe and killed the Knights of Fire, Earth and Water. Then he sealed Kahaku and Riku went into a Dragon Rock and while Honou was left alone... Nadil ate Hayate. No one knows why he joined the Dragon Tribe to begin with."
One thing at a time, Illusia concluded, first they could take Nadil and then... the rest. Whatever it was, Illusia wasn't so sure anymore.
((=D And it continues!))
A dark haired man looked up from what he was doing and out over the dark horizon. On the other side of the large building he lived in the sun was setting, painting a surreal landscape. "What is it?" A goldened eyed woman asked as she looked up at him and then followed his line of vision. "... Nothing, just thought I felt a... Anyway, check." He said as he looked back tothe board between them. "Last game for the evening, this." The dragon answered the youkai as she made a move.
Of at the horizon, by the shore, a ship had been slung up onto some rocks, half crushed half speared by some sharp ends... its crew lying on the beach, half in the water and on the rests of the ship. The day was ending in Arinas, the land of sunsets, but the night was already well under way far away in Dusis.
((XD I'll come around with a percise time in the next post... for Illusia and Co))

Sand scratched at Jett's thin cheek. Sand? Where did that come from...? The last thing he remember was Celia casting her shield spell over him> And then...sand. Carefully, the dragon opened his eyes. He was lying on a beach, night already stealing away the light. Slowly, he sat up and blinked again. His head swam and water dripped down his hair, face and chest. Then he saw the torn ship. "Oh, god!" He jumped up, and staggered for the ship. "Hello? Is anyone there?!"

Ceila still lay in the battered reminants of the ship. She had woken up only moments before Jett, but hadn't been able to move. A large and heavy beam from the ceiling had fallen ontop of her, pinning her body and one arm to the ground. She was half submurged in water, as the boat's bottom had been mostly destroyed, and was fairly full of water. Her elemental stones lay in a shallow pool of water near by, though unfourtunately just out of reach. She had a rather nasty cut just above her left eye, but it really didn't seem to bother her too much. She wasn't entirely sure how much damage had been done by the beam, but she wasn't really in any pain...Just annoyed that she couldn't get loose.

Baran coughed groggily, salt coating the inside of his mouth. Man, that felt gross. He moaned softly, starting to turn his head, then stopping as a sharp pain reminded him of his precarious position under several planks of wood.
Fine, then. It wasn't like he wanted to move, anyway.
The world was blurry as he blinked his eyes open and it hurt to focus on anything. He let his eyes slide closed, the comforting darkness surrounding him once more. The water washing over his lower body felt warm, although he wished it would stop moving the sand he seemed to be spread out over.
Sand...? He struggled to think. It wasn't uncommon for him to become disoriented after being subjected to a strong blast of magic, but he couldn't remember where the sand had come from. Never mind. He started to slip back into unconciousness, unaware of the huge wreck of ship next to and behind him, it would probably all make sense in the morning...
