Kiera went right into town just as all the stores had just finished closing down. Urgh, perfect. She needed something to take her mind off it. "No Veira. I'm not coming to cradle you this time. You went too far. You don't know how long I waited for that." She went down to a bar that Amelie always used to go to, although Mai grabbed her sleeve in his jaw. Kiera snatched it back and walked into the bar without him, leaving him to whine outside alone. She actually got a couple of drinks and sat in the corner watching everyone else socialize.
Dante led Soflora into the living room then went to turn on the tv. "I'll just go and get a movie from my room, wait here." He smiled to her before he rushed up the stairs, not concentrating and walked right into Shortstraw. Dante fell down the stairs and hit his head. At the bottom, he sat up and rubbed his head. "Ow. That really hurt." He looked up to Shortstraw with an awkward smile. "Sorry uncle Shortstraw. I didn't see you there."

*Shortstraw shied, "it's fine." He pulled Donte up to his feet, "I have to go find keria..." he stopped and went back up to veria, "Give me back my ring." She looked up to him, "i... i can't." He glared angerly at her, "give it back veria." She looked down, "i can't... i ate it...." she whispered. He angerly squtted down, "You better give me back my mthers ring or so help me i will not see you again! That I promes you!" He yelled. She looked to him, "your... mothers ring?" She held out another one with her shaking hand, "then whats this..." he snatched it, "i want my ring back." He then turned and angerly headed out the castle, walking through town till he spotted mai outside a bar. There he came to a stop... "don't tell me..." he shied, "this night can't get any worse. It was suppost to be a happy night. One i been waiting for." He grumbled.
Meawnhile soflora just waited pashaintly on the couch. She had never saw a movie before other then that of a old fasion light show her father played over and over form the 30's. It was just he baby pictures too, so she never liked it. But she had good hopes for this one.

Kiera, in the end, couldn't stomach any alcohol. No matter how much she tried, it didn't agree with her. Maybe that was for the best. But she still sat there in the corner of the bar, knees up to her chest and head hidden in her arms. Now she was pretty tired. Now of all times. Mai looked up to Shortstraw almost apologetically and whined up at him. Mai himself couldn't enter the bar. No matter how much he wanted to stop Kiera he would just get thrown out again if he went in.
Dante watched Shortstraw leave and frowned. "Something must have gone wrong." This troubled him a little as he walked up the stairs and peered into Kiera's room to see Veira there on the floor, sniveling to herself. "Sis?" He asked cautiously and walked a little closer. "You okay sis? What happened?" He knew he was keeping Soflora waiting but he couldn't have just walked past without doing anything.

"Soflora. Why are you sitting on the couch?" Prophet asked, walking in the room, looking at her. "Also, have you seen Shortstraw? I can't find him anywhere." Prophet asked, a bit worried, though he'd never admit it before he met Shortstraw. Prophet then llooked at the TV, and figured it out. "You're waiting for Dante to bring you a movie, that's a plan, I've been bored for the past couple of days, might aswell watch a movie with you guys." Prophet said, sitting down on the couch.

*Veria looked up to him, "i just lost my chance of love little brother..." she said ever so sadly. She had a hand on her stomach, "and now... i've done somthing really stupid..." She stood up, "i need to go in my room..." she sniffled and patted his head as she headed out the room, "for a long long time."
Meanwhile shortstraw shied and stepped inside the bar, he hated drunks. And more or less there was even more of them here that would go for keria then any. He spotted keria and shuffled through the drinkers to end up sitting next to her, "you shouldn't have come in here of all places..." he replied. He shied, "the night wasnt suppost to end up like this. Not at all."

Kiera frowned and looked over to Shortstraw sadly. "I'm sorry. This is all my fault. I shouldn't have blown up like that. I ruined it." She put her head back between her knees. "I should have done more for Veira, I should have been a better sister." She put her arms over her head in defeat. "There are so many people here and they talk and think and drink so much I thought I could block out my thoughts."
Dante looked sadly to his sister although knew there was nothing he could do. There was never anything he could do. When it came to his elder siblings problems he could never have any influence unless it was to do with fighting. That really sucked. Now things were sad again and he couldn't do anything about it. He just walked into his room and lazily picked out a movie before slumping back down the stairs and into the living room.

Prophet heard sniffling uopstairs, and said, "I'll go check that out." He then walked up the stairs, and saaw Dante, seeing his sister leave. Prophet walked up to him, and patted his shoulder, and said, "I'll go talk to her. I might be nineteen, but I've got the wisdom to help Veria out with her troubles, you just get a movie, and go watch it with your friend down there." He then walked up the stairs and went up to Veria's room. He then said, "Veria. Veria, if there's something wrong, you can talk to me, I have no problem with helping a friend in their hour of need."

Veria didn't answer as she went silent in her room. Infact it was a wonder if she was even in there. meanwhile soflora waited for donte, and when seeing him frowned, "whats wrong?"
Meanwhile shortstraw shrugged, "Come on Keria. It's hard to even talk to you in here, and i hate being in places like this." He looked to her, "i wasn't all that nice to her either. She ate my mothers ring... and she messed up my perposl to you."

Kiera stayed still for a moment as Shortstraw reminded her. Why were the bloody drunkards so quiet? It unsettled her and made her listen to her own thoughts. "I know. I was right there." She took one hand off her head and put it over Shortrstraws hand. "It's all right." She slowly stood up and pulled him up too. "I want to get out of here too."
Dante yawned and walked over to the Tv. "It's nothing. Just family stuff again." He put the dvd in the player and stretched his arms above his head. "I'll probably fall asleep during the movie. I'm pretty tired." He warned.

"V;eria, I can see your heat on my nano vision, you're there, let me just help you out, c'mon. At least give a friend a chance." Prophet said, a bit worried because of the silence, though he knew she wasn't dead. "Veria, I know what it feels like to lose someone's love, but it doesn't mean you have to shut yourself out of reality. You can make it up to him by doing something that he'd think would be forgivable for whatever you did. Please, let me help you out, I don't want to lose another friend, I've already lost many, and I don't want to lose more." Prophet said, sitting down, and leaning against the door, trying to help his friend out.

*SHortstraw nodded as they walked outside where he chukkled, "i can do it again if you like..." He smerked, "besides i don't think to many people would see me anyways at this time of night."
Solfora on the other hand shrugged, "no problem. If you fall alseep i'll just eat." She giggled, "this does feel alitle wierd though. Sititn gin a castle again... watching moives with... a prince." She blushed, "i never saw myself like this before."

Kiera smiled to him and took his hand properly. "What's the problem with people seeing? Are you embarrassed or something?" She smiled more, spark suddenly back.
Dante turned and smiled to her as he grabbed the remote. "Well you gotta believe it. 'Cause it's happening." He walked over to the couch and sat down next to her comfortably and turned on the movie.

Soflora smiled, alittle lost for words as she then laid her head onto his shoulder as she watched the introduction...
Meanwhile Shortstraw chukkled, "well... i don't think it's as easy as you think..." He shied and then crouched down on one leg again, He held up the other ring, "this isn't the right just so you know. but anyways, Keria Anju Yokai. I shortstraw... um... no last name ask for your hand in marrige. Keria... will you marry me?" He replied not being able to help chukkling at the end.

Prophet sighed, and said, "Veria, if you're listening, moping around won't get him back, just listen to my advice, and you'll get him back." He then got up and headed for the stairs, but he stopped, and said, "I promise to see that happen, Veria." He then walked down the stairs. Arriving downstairs, he saw the movie they were watching, and headed for the kitchen. He came out a couple minutes later with popcorn and sat down at the couch. Prophet then asked, "What's this movie called?"

Kiera blushed a little although waited a little in feign thought before she grinned and nodded furiously. "Yes, of course I will Shortstraw." Although she herself couldn't help but giggle a little too.
Dante looked to Soflora and his whole face reddened, no matter how much he willed against it. He was so new to this kind of thing it was scary. Face him against a demon any day and he'd be fine. This however was an alien experience. "I don't know what uh... movie I chose.. I wasn't really concentrating when I picked it.." His voice broke a little at the end.
