Merida glanced over at Kasumi, eyes narrowed, for a brief moment before looking back at Naruto. She took a deep breath and smiled sweetly at him. Whenever she smiled like that it wasnt a good sign. "Thanks Naruto I needed that." She would get him back, but not now. She would prank him back when he least expected it. Cassandra looked between Lynx and Naruto before speaking softly to Lorcan. "If I am not mistaken, she seems to recognize him. Doesnt seem like she expected to see him again." Constance nodded. "So she has been told before. Still doesnt change the fact she doesnt like it. That is how Merida is." She stopped, one hand on her hip as she regarded Lynx. She had stopped walking and was standing as if in shock. Constance looked at Naruto thoughtfully because he was the one Lynx seemed to be focused on.

Kasumi tilted her head slightly with amusement. Naruto, on the other hand, grinned. "Always glad to help, though around here, I'm infamous for pranks," he said shamelessly.

Lynx took a deep breath before shifting her gaze back forward and walking out of the hotel, this time utterly ignoring Naruto.

Lorcán shifted his weight. "If I'm right, I think she may be related to him; if what I've managed to gather is right, then Naruto and Kasumi both grew up either near here or here specifically. We do not know whether they had relationships before we knew them, and knowing Naruto, he likely has," he said quietly as he started following the masked young woman.

Merrick chuckled. "Distant relative, ya think?" he said softly as the young woman shook herself and walked out of the hotel.

"Well thats good to know," Merida said as she pulled her hair back into a loose ponytail. She shook her head and watched as the young woman walked out without looking at Naruto again. Obviously there was something there. Cassandra nodded as she listened to Lorcan. "I am sure they did have relationships before meeting us. They have been around for a while after all." She walked with him, following the masked woman out of the hotel. She glanced at Naruto and smirked a little as she shook her head. Constance looked at Merrick and nodded. "It is quite possible. Naruto and your mom have been around a while. I am sure they have lots of family around." Amelia walked silently with the others, keeping her senses open. Obviously the demons had found them here, so there was no telling when more would show up.

Kasumi rolled her eyes before she lobbed what seemed to be a marble at her brother who caught it with a slight smirk as he clung to the wall before it imploded as he dropped out of the ensuing cloud of smoke dressed almost identically to a comical wrestler as he hit the dusty ground. "You forget, nii-chan, I can rival you more easily than most," she said idly, winding a lock of crimson hair around her finger with an innocent smile.

Lynx blinked as her great-great-great grandfather dropped comically to the ground, though she didn't recognize the unusual constume.

Lorcán tilted his head in a slight nod, thinking the same thing.

Merida watched the brother and sister for a moment before shaking her head. The two of them together made it hazardous for everyone else. Oh the pranks that could be pulled...they would not have a moments rest. Merida chuckled softly as she thought about it. It would be like old times when Kasumi had been around. Amelia had caught up with the young masked woman. "Do not let them startle you. Kasumi and Naruto are constantly like that." Her head tilted to the side slightly. "They are also very protective. They defend their own with a fierce passion." She had sensed the ties that bound Naruto and Lynx. Caroyln watched everyone with a smile on her face. It was calm for now and they seemed at ease. Constance walked silently with Merrick, looking around at everything.

Kasumi laughed softly as she half turned away before she pushed off fluidly, landing on the rooftops.

Lynx glanced at Amelia. "It is something I am not used to. My family, while somewhat pleasant, isn't exactly protective, as my cousin's twin brother was recently killed," she said quietly with a faint sigh. Her hand rose to her mask in a clear sign of distress before she pulled the mask away to reveal her lightly tanned skin and pale pupil-less silvery gray-lavender eyes. Her dark indigo-black hair swayed softly around her shoulders and upper back as she exhaled before pushing off and joining Kasumi.

Lorcán blinked as the young woman removed the mask, interested in the fact that she had no visible pupils.

Merrick tilted his head as the young woman removed her mask. "She's cute, but not really my type; I have no doubt she's skilled, as if my gut instinct is right, then she's among the 'elite' of the village," he murmured to Constance, unaware that his 'human' father actually wasn't human at all. He knew that he was related to the demonic general Sparda, but did not know that the general's wife had been an ancient race closely tied to the Earth's ancient spiritual power, making him quite unique in that he was one third of each race: Demon, Kitsune, and Karpatiikunta. The latter decreased his wastage of energy in spells and specialized techniques as well as giving him strong telepathic and empathic talents.

Amelia nodded slowly as she listened to Lynx. "I am sorry for the loss. We have all lost loved ones, some more than others." She scratched Nala's head a little. "All we can do is make the best of our situations."Constance listened silently to Merrick, watching the young woman. She could tell that the other woman was definitely skilled. That was not hard to detect for any witch. "Looks like Amelia is making new friends," she said softly so only Merrick would hear her. Out of all of them, Amelia was the one who could easily talk to others, calm them and make them friends. Cassandra saw Lynx's strange eyes with no pupils, but did not comment on it. She had never seen such eyes before, but maybe that was common around here. She glanced around at the others and caught sight of Merida looking like she was far off in her own little world. Cassandra smiled a little, having no doubt that she was thinking up ways of getting Naruto back for his little prank.

Kasumi tilted her head, glancing back at the girl as she quietly listened to Amelia; she knew very well what Amelia meant.

Lynx shrugged. "It isn't that death happens, but what we do in its wake that matters; we'll all die eventually, whether from injury, disease, or old age," she said blandly as she pushed off, somersaulting in the process, glancing down at Cassandra for a moment while inverted. "My eyes are unique to my Clan, my family... though frankly some of them are true assholes," she said with a faint smirk that seemed very similar to Naruto's.

Lorcán shrugged as he pushed off fluidly, landing just behind Lynx. He got the feeling that Naruto and Kasumi knew this place better than anyone other than its native people.

Merrick chuckled, not surprised. "Though most wouldn't notice it, you and Amelia are alike in that you can calm others and make loyal friends. As far as I'm concerned, you're like a bonfire on a pitch black night," he said quietly.

Amelia smiled a little and shook her head as Lynx somersaulted away. Nala ran ahead of them, playful for the moment. She hadn't sensed anything wrong, so it put Amelia at ease. Cassandra saw the smirk that looked so much like Naruto's and chuckled softly. As Lorcan pushed off from the ground she followed, landing by his side. Constance looked over at Merrick with a smile. "You really think I am like her?" She looked over at Amelia. Always so calm, always so collected. It was nice to be compared to the elder witch. "I am honored that you think so."Carolyn had been following everyone silently, finding it hard to keep her eyes off of Kasumi. She had never been so infatuated with anyone in her life. She shook her head a little.

Kasumi glanced back at Carolyn, not seeing the ankle of her hakama pants snag on a small notch an instant before a low ripping sound followed as her baggy crimson-gold pants dropped to just below her knees, giving a rather obvious view of her indigo-blue panties when she stumbled.

Lynx tilted her head when she heard the soft rip before the crimson haired woman stumbled; she didn't see anything below the belt and pouches she had on, however.

Merrick shrugged. "It's no surprise really, if one thinks and looks closely enough, hän ku vigyáz sívamet és sielamet," he said quietly, unintentionally using a special endearment that translated as 'keeper of my heart and soul'.

Carolyn's face broke into a grin as Kasumi's pants ripped and she stumbled. She got a good view of the other woman's panties. She moved swiftly to her side. "Hmm, I like the view," Carolyn said softly to Kasumi as she gave a small wave of her hand. The rip mended and the pants were back on her. "But I dont like everyone else seeing the goods." She smiled sweetly at Kasumi. Cassandra looked at Lorcan with a smile. She turned her gaze when she heard a ripping sound and saw Kasumi's pants rip after they snagged on a small notch. She grinned and shook her head as Carolyn helped Kasumi. Constance smiled softly at Merrick. Somehow she knew exactly what he said even though she had never heard or spoken that language before. She reached up and grasped his face gently in her hands. "I love you so much. My heart will always be yours, and only yours." She kissed him gently.

Kasumi blushed slightly at Carolyn's words, though it grew deeper at her other words as she managed to rise, shifting as if adjusting her sandals and palming the torn fragment of silky cotton; she knew she had a shallow cut on her calf from the momentary stumble and could smell the blood, though it was barely more than a scratch to her.

Lynx sighed, shaking her head slightly as she leaped ahead to a nearby training ground with several good sized training posts sticking out of the ground.

Lorcán cocked his head slightly. "You get the feeling those two are... intimate, eh?" he murmured softly.

Merrick could see the momentary surprise and understanding in Constance's eyes. "The wonders of magic... makes learning new languages easy," he murmured with amusement as he scooped her up bridal style before he pushed off sharply, not seeing the shingles implode in a burst of dust behind him.

Naruto blinked as he saw Merrick leap over their heads, clearing them by nearly eight feet. He knew immediately that the young witch hadn't used chakra nor youkai, but simple physical strength. "He could probably rival Baa-chan," he thought to Kasumi, who twitched as her eyes rose to track Merrick through the air before he landed with a booming crunch a couple of feet in front of their guide.

Carolyn saw the blood from the shallow cut on Kasumi and sighed, still with a smile on her face. "You should be more careful. Can't have you getting yourself hurt all the time.""Oh I have no doubt that they are," Cassandra said with a nod after Lorcan was done speaking. She watched Kasumi and Carolyn silently. "I have not seen Carolyn like that with anyone in a long time. I think they are good for each other."Constance wrapped her arms around Merrick's neck as he picked her up bridal style and jumped. She laughed as they flew through the air and then landed on the ground near Lynx. She looked up at him with a grin. "Now that was fun.""That was a pretty good leap," Merida said as she moved past Naruto. "Stronger and stronger every day." She shrugged and followed after the others.

Kasumi blinked, aware of a bit of burning and smelling blood, but not realizing it was her own. "Huh?" she said blankly, a bit confused. She jumped slightly as Naruto hit her in the back with a water balloon, yelping at the icy cold water as she spun, unaware she accidentally sent a small spray of water at Carolyn in the process from her braided hair as it levitated slightly before she shot at her brother, tackling him and while it seemed like a rather violent overreaction, she was actually tickling him before she twisted, catching him by the ankle and spinning before releasing and hurling him squarely into a nearby horse trough with a clanging thump as she flickered out of sight, almost immediately materializing with her arms draped over Carolyn's shoulders as she murmured softly in her ear. "I'm not going to complain when your 'healing' is so fun," she murmured teasingly.

Lynx blinked as she saw the crimson haired woman tackle her great-great-great grandfather before hurling him into a horse trough at the edge of the training ground; it was obvious to her they were familiar, though not how it was so. She snickered as the woman used a simple Shunshin to vanish, though she was curious as to how she knew the technique.

Lorcán chuckled. "If how you and I and how someone else is anything to go by, then I'm sure they do enjoy it," he said softly as he paused at the edge of the rooftop, snickering as the horse trough rocked from Naruto's impromptu landing though it didn't overturn.

Merrick tickled Constance while Lynx was distracted. "And we do know how to have fun.... not just in public," he murmured, fairly sure that Constance would notice that he was aroused though he didn't plan to jump her where they were.

Carolyn watched Kasumi's and Naruto's playful act with amusement. She didnt even seem to notice that Kasumi had sprayed her with water as she spun around to launch herself at her brother. She wasnt' at all surprised either when Kasumi appeared behind her, arms draped over her shoulders. A small blush appeared on her face as she heard the other woman's words. "I am sure they do," Cassandra said softly as she joined Lorcan at the edge of the rooftop. Her hand rested lightly on his arm. She watched as Kasumi and Naruto had a little fun and laughed softly as Naruto went through horse trough. Constance laughed as Merrick tickled her, trying half hardheartedly to pull away. She never wanted to get away from in. In fact, she never wanted him to let her go. "I like our fun," she whispered in his ear. "Gives me great...pleasure." She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively at him.
