卍 一は全、 So I'm taking my driving test on Wednesday. ninja I've pretty much mastered the maneuverability test, and am fairly comfortable with actual driving so... yeah. I'll think I'll pass it. 全は一。卐

xd lucky all you people who go outside at all, i (who's greatest driving ability is the skill of crashing into a stopsign at 5 miles an hour) can get a driver's liscence with nothing more than the actual driving test. whee

So I'm researching veterinary schools, and in order to get into UC Davis, I need a GPA of 2.8 or higher, volunteer experience, and a recommendation. Also, I need my basic biology classes that I'll probably have to go to the city college for since it's hard to do a laboratory class over the internet. I'll probably need the same thing for CO State. I'm also discovering that my under-graduate degree doesn't matter much when I'm pursuing my masters/PhD, and in fact, English Lit is more like Critical Thinking, so it's beneficial.
My only hesitation is...I'm already 18K in debt with my English Lit Bachelor's. Is it a good idea to be planning my masters and beyond and all that debt or should I just make do with my Bachelor's, like my hubby suggests? I just really...REALLY want my DVM in large and/or marine animals. Plus, if I get accepted to CO State, that gives us an excuse to move out of L.A.
I think I might call some academic advisers tomorrow. whee

Eugh. College research.
I've decided between two. But I just can't figure it out.

my advice... is that if you are deep enough in debt that you don't know how your gonna get out of it yet... go ahead and pile more on. follow your dream. you can get a financial advisor later to help you dealw ith it.

The difference being I've got a BSc, not a BA smile I say go with what you really want to do, if I just made do with my BSc I'd be miserable. I've always wanted to be a vet, when Massey rejected me last year (without so much as a 'sorry you didn't get in' letter) it was heart-breaking, but I'm hoping a vet nurse with an A average can sneaky-sneak in the back-door. ;D Debt is bad, but at least you'll have something you really want to show for it (PS don't apply to Massey in NZ...or I'll hit you if you get in & I don't ;P)

Hm... I would wrap it around my back to my ribs or something. I love the idea of wrapping ink around you body, not just placing it there.
