Etsushi remained indifferent as others came towards her, willing to let the kunoichi known as Akasuna no Chi (Blood of the Sand) teach them. An explosion shock the entire sand village, and she frowned, the only indication that she had taken a defensive stance was the tightening of her knuckles and shoulder muscles. Her dull cold eyes looked over towards the shattered windows before they drifted over towards the students that had run off to fight the monster. She sighed, shook her head, and looked at Yoru, "At least there's one smart one I'm teaching," she hummed low in her throat, and began to walk towards the door. She stopped and turned back, "Are you coming? You might learn something... but I can see you've already got common sense packed down; unlike the others...," she left without another word, and walked calmly towards the monster.✖✖✖✖✖ There's this girl in the mirror, I wonder who she is.
Sometimes I think I know her and sometimes I wish I did.
There is a story in her eyes, lullabies, and goodbye.
When she's looking back at me I can tell...she's hurting inside

Yoru sighed as he was the only one left who had not gone out to battle the beast, he'd only caught a glimpse of it as a fraction of it had laid its' shadow over the facility, and THAT told him enough about the nature of it and its' power. He couldn't shake the niggling feeling, however, that the beast somehow felt familiar, as if he'd encountered it before, but he dismissed the thought as pure conjecture based on a moment of panic hidden under cool intelligence.
He slowly exited the Training facility and followed the path of destruction that had been carved through the village, deciding that he would indeed heed Estushi's suggestion to learn something, whether it be about ninja skills, the beast or his own past. With his mind made up, he moved from him position at a steady walking pace but that would be enough. The creature was big enough that a person bound to wheelchair would run into it, and its' size also made its' location painfully obvious. As Yoru approached the beast he could hear and see the signs of battle, he also spotted a great multi-headed serpent descend on it. All in all, it was pretty surreal, even for him.

Beth walked into the safety of the training facility, watching from the window as the hydra battled the giant monster. She rubbed her leg where she had been bitten, and just hoped this mess would be over soon.

Beth wandered from class to class. She wondered where she could find her teacher at. She hoped she would find her in the building. Beth didnt like the idea of searching the village.

かろなしかぐやろいヴぁす  Let those who face me know.... Karonashi perched on the edge of the building, one leg tucked under the other, the second dangling off the roof. Along his crossed leg sat one of his two punching blades that he had managed to recover after the Cloverfield attack. The teen was currently running a stropping stone along the keen edge, honing it to a narrower point. Despite the time that had passed, he hadn't seen anyone of a higher rank than he himself was, and that was beginning to grate on the subdued shinobi's nerves.
"And where have the other ninja gotten to?" He muttered under his breath. He knew at least one person was in the hospital - he had spotted disturbance there as he exited the ramen stand. And he had seen one of the girls from before wandering around in the Training Facility, but she looked as lost as he felt. ...that the Bone King is coming for their lives!  KayAburame Sunagakure|Aburame|Genin Stealth | Tactical | Genius | samuraiWandering up to the facility for the first time in who knows how long, Kay spotted Karonoshi out of his peripheral vision. Tilting his head up to see those already trademarck blades, Kay smiled as his large, stocky build would stride over to him. He only knew that this boy had been instrumental in the destruction of the mini cloverfields they had faced in the village. He was glad he was alive, and each step filled him with more hidden joy. When he finally reached the boy after having shot a chain into it and yanked himself up the side of the wall, he bowed in respect to his comrade. "Karonoshi-san, correct? I'm glad that you survived apacolypse after all!" he said almost monotonously. He pulled back his hood, insects scurrying out of the sudden light, and smiled a genuion smile. Hopefully Akura wasn't dead...
He sat down, his legs swinging and his hair blowing. His insects crawled frmo his coat and began to stare ominously at Karonoshi. "I know it isn't Akura, but he's still a brother in arms!" Kay thought to them.
...
"No. You may not eat him."
...
"IN the event that he goes rouge on a whim, kills Akura, tries to take over the village AND SUCCEEDS, you may eat him."
...!!!
"Oh shut up." he thought, his face remaining unchanged. THroughout this little conversation with his partners, Kay kept his eyes fixed on the clouds and his face remained unchanged, the insects literally still staring hard at KAronoshi, trying to will him into doing something illegal. Something to provoke Kay to let them eat him. WHen did they develop this attitude? It was while Kay was training his mind to become unbreakable. The insects now harbored his emotions for him, and well too. Oh yes and they were still staring at the boy.

"Yes, though it seems to have been a close thing. I was struck on the back of the head at some point." He shrugged slightly. "But the danger is passed now." The teen looked over at the Gennin and tilted his head slightly to one side when he saw one of the Kikaichou poking its head out of Kay's coat to stare at him intently. The melee fighter suddenly snapped his fingers as he remembered something.
He slid one of his blade back into its sheathe and rummaged around in a pocket.
"Here, I picked this up in the local market." He pulled it out and held it carefully in the center of his palm. "I surmised that if I was able to survive, then you, being more skilled as a shinobi, would be able to as well." The object on his hand was a small sugar cube. "I remember reading that some variations of Kikaichou enjoy eating sugary substances such as honey or sap." ...that the Bone King is coming for their lives! He took the cube of sugar, the focus of the insects immidiately shifting into his hand, and after a few seconds of deliberation, his arm turned completely black as insects emerged from his sleeves and coveed his guantleted hands. THe sugar was immidiately swallowed whole, one molecule for each insect, and they began to hyperactively move around. Kay smiled at Karonoshi. "Thank you, I wish I had a gift to return, but all i have to offer you is a bit of words from the wise. But wisdom is bleak, word form the wiser," he said with a smile. As his insects began to crawl from his coat almost independantly, they flew around the two before retunring. ... "It would appear you have no more sugar at least," he joked as the kikaichu finally retreated to his body. Karonoshi would have to meet Akura, and soon. The four of them would definately be great friends and if Nanashi never returned, Karonoshi would complete the Suna Swordsman. Which suddenly made Kay snap HIS fingers.
"What ype of fighting do you specialize in?" he asked as Karonoshi would be shocked by his sudden outburst of movements and flalingly of his arms. IF he was a taijutsu user, or a bukijutsu master, he would fit right in to their group! After some specialized training in a certain style... the possibilities wouild be endless...[Chakra Point Total: /]31/31

The rarity of punching blades such as mine make them quite handy for confusing opponents, and the extended spike on the end gives me two more locations to strike from." Ronnel pulled a Kikaichou from his ponytail where it had gotten tangled and returned it to Kay.
"And no, I only got the one because I was unsure of the effect of sugar on your hive. despite my knowledge, your particular bondmates might have despised sugar, or, having had some, become so hyperactive as to be unstable. It was for the best under my judgement to only procure a single cube for the time being." He stood up on the edge of the roof and slid the other blade into its sheathe and returned the whet stone to his pouch.
"To return to your earlier question - I would classify as a taijutsu style shinobi." The black haired teen stepped forward, off the edge of the roof. In midair, he turned his body, and punched out with one hand just before he hit the ground. His weight, combined with the inertia of his fall and the force of his punch, created a small crater around his fist as he levered himself back to his feet and looked up at Kay. ...that the Bone King is coming for their lives! Watching him fall, Kay was a bit weaary of the distance, but remembering his bloodline Kay smirked. The single Kikaichu he had given Kay flew back into his coat, not entangled, but just deciding to stay a few seconds with him. Sugar made them happy. THe small crater he had made was indeed impressive, jumping from the top of a building to give him the power he needed was just raw genious in that Kay was highly excited already. The insects would be walking in igzags all across his body.
He unsheated his fixed bladed nodachi, tossing it up into the air and then falling from the rook as well, taking a bit of a leap and seeing his traget, a water tower. He unsheathed the bone sword and stabbed it into the water tower. He stood on it and as the blade he'd tossed began to fall in his direction he jumped off the blade like a spring, cathcing and swinging the blade in a fluid movement and unsehthing it as well. As he fell he also tore out his bonesword and shethed it as well, falling across the street from Karonoshi and walking towards him. "I'm a sword master," he said arrogantly as the entire tank leaked water from a line that ran down the entire thing. It then flooded out as it fell in half. "Very impressive strength you got there." he said with a smirk.[Chakra Point Total: /]31/31

Beth stopped looking. It was apparent she wasnt in the building. She walked towards the exit, when she overheard 2 ninja talking. She sat on a table and began to listen in, hoping they wouldnt notice.
