Issildia set Sumar, her curved anierian made blade on the table as well. As she did so, she spoke again in response to his questions.

"I met him when I entered the Ryera lands within the Aldrene desert I had been searching for a remedy to aid a fellow comrade in a curse placed upon him by a necromancer. In any event..." she said cutting to the chase. "Khastur had been made the field leader of the Ryera soldiers and as such was one of the first I met while in Ryera territory. Anyway, while in the desert the larovian army waged battle against the Ryera of who they thought had betrayed them. Khastur and myself along with many others managed to fight off my father's forces."
Issildia then went into detail of how the Ryera wanted she and Khastur's blood for some reason or another and how they had escaped the Aldrene and their battle with Adenia the mistress of dragons. Issildia then went into detail about what they had seen when arriving at Faltora, going into great militaristic detail concerning the troop movements that she had noted and the sheer numbers of soldiers. This was all easy for her to recall considering that she had been in the anierian military for some time.

"Obviously during the last few days we have been traveling to the east in hopes finding you in order to gain perhaps an edge in defeating my father." she said finally ending the recollection of what had taken place thus far.

Issildia only nodded silently, already feeling rather odd without her blade at her side.
Still, she returned outside to see to Sylph and the others.
Issildia was not happy at all in bringing Sylph along, the woman was a coward, and a bloody politician no less.

Sylph was standing with her arms crossed and a glare in her eyes when Issildia emerged from the blacksmith's home.

"I want no part in these...dealings with that barbaric man...do you know that the council ordered him out of this kingdom."

Issildia looked at Sylph with a sour expression, "Oh do be silent....it's not like the council of Keirdon has proven their intelligence in any affair...denying aid to a ally, sending away the only one that may be able to aid in defeating those that we face."

Sylph narrowed her gaze, "Who are you to speak ill of the council, you who carries the blood of our enemy."
"Don't start that again Lady Zitara, I hold no reservations against giving you another bruise to match the one you received earlier." Issildia warned icily, recalling when she had lost her patience with Sylph when they had first come upon her, and delivering a rather punishing blow to her jaw. The yellowed bruise could still be see discoloring the ivory tone of Sylph's face.

Sylph fumed at this but remained silent as Issildia stood across from her obviously keeping an eye on Sylph until Khastur returned.

Issildia glanced to Khastur as he returned from the stables, thankful that she was not alone in dealing with Sylph presently.
"Well..." Issildia said slyly, "Perhaps we can dig up a bit of your memory while we are here. It would be the ideal time to do so anyway considering the situation."

Sylph looked at them sullenly, "I thought we were going to Meradea, not the bloody country side." she complained.

Issildia looked to the south east where Meradea was located, "Well you are more than welcome to make your way their now...though you may want to start walking if you want to get anywhere before nightfall." she stated sarcastically.
Sylph frowned at her and made motion as if to speak but thought better of it after considering Issildia's earlier threat.

Sylph frowned at him, knowing good and well that he was simply trying to pester her
"And I thought that you weren't a fool like the rest of them." she said icily to Khastur as she turned to leave heading towards the stables, perhaps to rid herself of them for a time.
"Maybe we should just kill her..." Issildia stated dryly. Her tone implying that it was nothing more than an idle threat, though an underlying strain of ice remained in her speech that suggested otherwise.
But she turned from this topic to address something a bit more interesting.
"So, tell me. How are you handling the concept that you have found your father Khastur?"

Issildia only nodded, "I suppose, she is becoming a nuisance...but still Khastur, this is your chance to try and find your past, it will take perhaps a day to get to the city on horse back, and a day to return. That leaves you only one to find what you can here...are you certain you wish to take Sylph to Meradea?"

Issildia did not mimic his humor at his mention of returning here one day, but she said nothing directly to him as they set of towards the stables. For the thought that they may die in the coming days was always present in Issildia's mind, still she would not dampen his spirits with a mention of this notion, it was not her place to do so.

Sylph had been leaning against the inner wall of the stables with her arms crossed when Issildia and Khastur entered.

"We're taking you to Meradea." Issildia stated bluntly without looked at Sylph.
"I don't suppose it wasn't your idea was it Nevar?" she responded with disdain.
Issildia seemed to pause briefly in her stride as if Sylph had struck a nerve in referring to her by her clan's name.
"No...you have Khastur to thank..." she said tightly, "In my opinion we should have never brought you out of that forest...but that's just me." she added darkly as she began making preparations in order to depart.

"I would imagine that she either has family there or perhaps she desires to remain in a city of Keirdon that is far removed from it's main populous near Faltora, and perhaps assume a new identity before anyone discovers who she is." Issildia responded keeping her voice low.

She then glanced over to Sylph with a perplexed expression, "Tell me, why did you abandon your people in their time of need?" She stated this with a blatant disregard for pity. For she did not respect the councilwoman in the least.

Sylph didn't bother in looking up as she responded. Her voice almost dismal with sorrow.
"We didn't have a chance in defeating the Larovian forces..." she said distantly.
"We were nearly surrounded on all fronts, there was little time to think things through..." her voice then faded off before she spoke again.

"I didn't want to die...Is that so wrong?" she said to no one in particular.
