I've told you what's on my mind...Rei said, shifting to sit on the tombstone she tried to hide behind. And maybe, if I feel so inclined, I'll tell you again. But you have to tell me, first...he told her, offering her a glance. He somewhat already knew, as he was curious by nature but somewhat disregarded rules and had peeked into Cytheria's thoughts.

Cytheria sighed unsure as to wether or not she should spill the beans over indefinately. She really liked Rei, and knew he was -way- out of her league.
"I just, I guess.. I wanted to spend a little more time with you..", she said. This wasn't a complete lie, but it definately wasn't the main issue on her mind. She shrugged and pulled her arms inside her dress hoping to create some warmth.

Rei watched Cytheria closely, frowning as he knew she wasn't telling him everything. He waved a hand gently before her, wrapping her and himself in an invisible warmth. Well...Maybe you'll get what you want. I'm here, aren't I? he sort of laughed, shaking his head as he shifted to sit on the ground with her, resting his back against the stone.

Cytheria pulled her arms out from inside her dress and smiled to Rei. "Doubtable, but if you must know.. You drive me nuts..", she began with a small giggle. "I'm like, head over heels for you and you're just.. completely stand offish.. I guess it's weird, because you don't even really know me.. I just..", she shrugged. "I.. really like you..", she admitted facing him as she spoke she bowed her head almost ashamed of what she had to say.

Rei watched Cytheria a moment, his expression empty as he didn't wish to show her quite how he felt on the matter. He nodded slowly and averted his eyes as well, finding it hard to look her in the eyes any longer. Well...Perhaps...I can offer that...a chance to grow...he said after another moment, opting not to look to her quite yet. I'm not ready to let anyone in...but...You're so damned persistant that there's probably no way around it. Maybe...that's what I need right now.

Cytheria shrugged as she kept her head bowed. "I don't know.. I don't want to pressure you into anything.. I know that alot has happened with you recently and if you'd prefer I'd disappear I'll do my best to respect that. I just..", she opened her eyes for a moment and looked to her hands in her lap, fidgiting a little. "I'm sorry Rei.. I shouldn't of said anything.."

Rei examined Cytheria another moment before he moved forward, pressing his lips to hers firmly. He was curious as to how this would affect not only her, but himself as well. Was it time he move on? Or would waiting for Tatsumi to come back to him prove to be the right thing? He wasn't sure, and in a rather selfish action, thought maybe that he could try and let Cytheria in while he waited for Tatsumi to come around. The thoughts in his mind made him pause, and he pulled away from her, his eyes closed softly. That wouldn't be fair...he sighed aloud, not quite realizing he'd done so.

Cytheria felt her heart in her throat and nervously looked to Rei with a questionable expression apon her face. Cytheria wanted desperately to kiss Rei back now, but hesitated, very confused. Cytheria felt tears well up and stood to find somewhere, anywhere to go so Rei wouldn't see her cry. She quickly ran to a near by tree and slide down it, her back pressed to the bark as she released a palm full of tears that were strangely a blue glowing color.

Wait...! he tried to call to her, blushing deeply behind his kerchief. He pulled himself up as well, and stepped after her, finding her with ease. He noted the glowing tears that trailed from her eyes, and frowned, shaking his head as he sighed, stepping closer still to wrap his arms around her. Please don't cry...He wasn't sure why, but the sight of her so upset seemed to break his heart...Or what was left of it. He sighed again and pulled her against his front, resting his forhead to the back of her head as he sort of held his breath.

Cytheria wrapped her arms around Rei desperately, crying into his shoulder she tried to settle herself some, not wanting Rei to see herself like this. "I'm so sorry...", she whimpered unable to pull herself away from him as she enjoyed the comfort he gave. "I don't.. know.. what to do..", she said speaking in broken fragments.

I don't want to hurt you...he offered, shaking his head against the side of her own. I don't know...How I'll react if ... he comes back. I don't want to build something and throw it away...he said softly, half regretting kissing Cytheria, but at the same time pleased with the feeling of her silky lips against his own.

Cytheria nodded kissing Rei lightly on the cheek. "I understand. I know better than to accept second best anyway.. Just know that I'll be here no matter what.. Promise..", she said shifting to look into his eyes and wiping her tears away. "I'm sorry Rei.. I really didn't mean to cause anymore problems... ", she said finally calming herself to a civil manner.

Rei shook his head to himself, his eyes closed softly as he still held Cytheria close. I don't...want you to be sorry. You didn't cause problems, they were already there...okay? He wasn't sure what to say to make her, or himself feel better, but as he stood with her in his arms, things seemed a little brighter, and he leaned to kiss her again, but not so forcefully.

Cytheria looked to Rei and returned his kiss longingly, her arms wrapped tight around him. As she felt her lips part from his she sighed almost dizzy, filled with warmth. She nuzzled into his chest and sighed looking up into his eyes.
"Okay...", she said in a gentle tone.

Rei nodded some and nuzzled to Cytheria, exhaling a long sigh while he held her close still. Would you like to go somewhere else? Maybe...A little more comfortable? Perhaps he was just caught in the moment, but he wanted to know her. Everything about her.
