Nina just giggled, keeping a light hold on Jack, she could slightly tell it was just a cover-up, but didn't push it.
"Well, I guess he's in a lose-lose situation then, isn't he?" Yuta sighed, "Damned if you do, damned if you don't."

Jack smiled a bit back at her, wondering if she really got it or not. He frowned again when Diedara started talking, though.
"I guess... There was one time where he was trying to be on our side for a bit..." Kimiko mumbled, trying to remember. "It wasn't so bad, really... Especially since we had him doin' all our chores! For a kid who grew up in a rich family, he sure knows how to clean."

Kikyo walked up behind Deidara and smacked him so hard that there was a loud slap noise. Before Deidara had a chance to say anything, he was quickly hushed with a glare from Kikyo. "Don't mess with my little brother by saying things to purposly hurt his feelings or start a fight." Deidara knew he would probably get his butt handed to him by Kikyo one way or another so he backed down from Jack's case with a quick apology.

Nina just looked at Deidara, only really paying attention to half the things he had said.
"So you had the guy working his a** of for you? And he still went back to being evil despite getting to do chores? Wow, what is wrong with the kid?" Yuta said with a bit of sarcasm.

"...Still don't really get what about it was so creepy..." Jack mumbled. Having gotten used to Vegito being mean to him, it kind of weirded him out when he was nice...
"Ha ha," Kim retorted, sounding a bit more sarcastic than Yuta did. "Really, it was more just a test to see if he was willing to put up with the same stuff we did every day. But the first chance he got, he nabbed almost all our Wu and went straight to Chase... That had really upset Omi... He thought that Jack was really going to be one of us..."

"Let me think... Yeah, that was right after his Robo-Jack had locked him out of the house," Kimiko began, trying to remember how it all had gone. "Jack's self-esteem had hit an all-time low, and he had shown up to tell us goodbye and that he was running away... Omi wouldn't have it, and offered him a place at the temple. Then Omi had to beg us and Master Fung to let Jack stay, and we really can't argue when he's looking so hopeful and expectant..." She paused for a moment, remembering the look on her small friend's face when they found out Jack was gone. "...It really bothered him when Jack betrayed us like that..."

"Booted out of his own house? Damn," Yuta sighed before his eyes landed on Nina and Jack, he looked to Kimiko, "What do you think the chances of him betraying us are? If you guys were so nice to him, and he betrayed you anyway, we shouldn't get too cozy here either, right?"

"I... I don't know," Kimiko admitted. "If he wasn't close to anybody here, I assume he would've taken off right when it was most convenient. Or, the second he had a chance to. Then just think how much trouble we'd be in. Jack would know the very second someone else touched one of his machines, and the gods and goddesses wouldn't be able to bring us any more help... But, he's got Nina. I don't think he'd ever want to risk losing her. ...To be on the safe side, we should probably lay off of talks of good and evil. It might make him want to prove that he's evil..."

((See, this is what happens when you bugger off on your own for a bit. lol Basically, a lot of dialog and not much action. Yuta was tryin' to make Jack jealous by givin' Nina quick hug and using her shoulder as an arm-rest, and Chase reminded Jack that he had met his future-self, before. Now Jack's all wigged out 'cause Old Jack didn't have an Old Nina with him. Kimiko was telin' Yuta 'bout how Jack has absolutely nobody back home, and Yuta asked if Jack would be betraying them any time soon.))
