Vegito had a huge grin on his face "Nice Jack I see your jeallious!"

The monkey part of his mind was screaming for Jack to protect what was his; to bash Yuta's face in, and walk away with his own arm wrapped around Nina's shoulders. The human part of his mind was telling him that he really shouldn't, that 99.9% of the time women hated when guys did that unless they really needed help, that they hated to be seen as property. That part of Jack's mind also argued that Nina would have never allowed them to do what they had done if she didn't truly love him, that she would never do anything to hurt him. "She even said she couldn't imagine not being by my side," he told himself, trying to squash his jealousy. If he could have, Chase would smirk, sensing an opportunity to distance Spicer from what gave the boy strength enough to lock him away. "Didn't you meet with your future self, before?" he asked the boy, seemingly randomly. "Yeah... Hm. And how are you going to be?" There was a hint of a chuckle in that tiny joke. Jack thought for a moment, glad to have something else to occupy his thoughts. Then, he realized something. "Alone..." he answered, feeling his heart lurch. "I was... I'm going to be... alone..." Jack felt a small growl in his throat, and he quickened his pace a bit until he was close to the front of the group, his tail bristled and lashing like an angry cat's. He was almost hoping they'd get attacked again, just so he could hit something.

"I, um... think you hit a nerve..." Kimiko half-whispered. "...Hard..."

"It... It's not you," Jack replied, not having the slightest clue of that was true or not. Why does she leave? Does she meet someone she likes better? Does she get hurt? Surely not in this world, with one kiss she'd be alright... Maybe something happens in his world... It certainly didn't look like it was going to be a very safe world, what with Chase having died and all. But then, that would make it Jack's fault that she... Wait, even worse, what if Jack himself was going to do something to her!? The thought of it made him feel ill... Chase, on the other hand, was feeling more comfortable in this body. Strangely, Spicer's mind itself was quieter; it was his emotions, his heart, that was going crazy. Chase was used feelings like rage and mistrust. They generally came with the whole "evil package."

"I don't get it... That really shouldn't have upset him this much," Kimiko continued, still in a whisper. "Especially since he's using the Monkey Staff, he loves being a monkey..." She was both confused and curious as to why Jack was behaving the way he was.

"Yes." "N-no," Jack replied, not wanting to look Nina in the eyes. "W-well, maybe... No. ...B-but..." He sighed, trying to think how to tell her or ask her something without outright telling her that she was eventually going to leave him forever. "...Is there... anything you don't like about me? Like, maybe something you wish I would do more often, or something you wish I would do less often...?" he finally asked.

"True," Kimiko agreed. "Still, I'm kinda curious..."

Jack looked to her and blinked, startled, not so much by her answer, but by her question. "I don't understand how a girl like you could ever think that you shouldn't get absolutely everything you wanted. ...Especially in a boyfriend..."

"I... I'm not sure, he never really talks about it," Kimiko confessed. "I know his dad's some sort of really important businessman, you see the Spicer name a lot on the 'net. Well, on most of the sites I go to, it's usually Jack-bashing, but still. I don't really know much about his mom, either... But apparently she can't tell the difference between Jack and a Robo-Jack. When his first Robo-Jack had turned on him for the second time, and he was complainin' that his mom was baking it cookies."

Jack smirked a bit, trying hard to believe Nina's words. "So, you've always wanted someone who's an albino, a habitual screw-up, and evil?" he half-joked. Well... A little less than half was a joke.

Kimiko looked to Jack and thought, thought hard, about their past. "Well... If he'd stop tryin' so hard to be evil all the time, then him and my friend Omi would probably be best buddies. Because he does try, though, they're more like rivals than anything... And I'm sure you can guess how well Jack does against a trained martial artist." She paused, trying to think if anyone else ever spent much time with him. "There... There was Wuya. She's who got him in to the Heylin/Xiaolin circle to begin with. But... She never really did seem to like him at all. She couldn't hunt down the Wu herself, because she was a ghost, so she had Jack do it. Whenever she found someone better, though... She'd leave him in a heartbeat, without hardly a first thought, let alone a second. There was a while though, where she hadn't took off on him in a while. ...That's when Chase Young showed up... I'm sure you can guess what happened when Wuya found out all about Chase..." Really, realizing how hard she had to think about it, Kimiko was surprised at how incredibly lonely Jack's life must be...

Jack smiled a bit, but couldn't help but wonder why, if she loved him so much, she would leave... "Perhaps it is you who will do the leaving? Hah, yeah right! That's a good one..."

"Yeah..." Kimiko agreed. "If he would just quit the evil guy act, he could have friends..."

After a moment, Jack stepped back and hugged Nina from behind. "Hey... You got a monkey on your back," he joked, with a small chuckle. It was something he was used to doing, making everyone think he was fine by making them laugh. It always worked, especially if he was laughing, too.

"Good Jack is... creepy," Kimiko retorted. "Like, really, really creepy. Like, even Nina wouldn't be able to stand him..."
