Jack shrank back a bit, trying to look as small and unassuming as possible.
Kimiko stepped back a couple paces; if there was one thing that was certain, it was that you should never stand between a mother and her child.

"That doesn't look good.." Hitsugaya said as he got ready to make a barrier to block attacks.
Sasuke took one look at the dragon and he got ready to do some jutsu. ((make sense? lol))

Vegito quickly picked up the baby thingy and put it down infont of the mommy thingy "Hey hey hey! It's ok we mean you no harm." He said grabbing Jack prepared to use him as a sheild

It released a fiery blast at the group that filled the cave
"O snap!" Link rose his shield
Inuyasha covered himself with his robe.
Miroku made a barrier protecting some of the other group members

Sasuke countered the fire blast in front of him by making hand signs and then using his great fireball jutsu to hit the fire infront of him, until it went away. ((And he can hold it for a while..))
Hitsugaya made an ice barrier around him and a few others.

Vegito quickly grabbed Jack and shealed 'her' from the attack
Naruto formed some hand seals "Mud rising wall!" A wall of earth rose from the ground sheilding him and Ranma

Kimiko started spinning, gathering all of the extra fire that wasn't blocked by her teammates and dispelling it.
Jack shouted a little at first, but quickly quieted when Chase mentally snapped at him. "You do remember that you have the Reversing Mirror, don't you!?" Jack then pulled it out of his pocket, ready to use it the next time the dragon decided to breathe fire again.

The Dragon swipped its tail at Naruto breaking the wall between him
"Damit we got to get rid of this thing!" Inuyasha said as he charged up his Tessiga

Vegito Blasted at Inuyasha's sword cancling the charge "NO!" He grabbed Jack, Naruto, and Ranma and pulled them to the door "She has her baby let's just leave!"

"I don't mind leaving!" Jack yelped. "You really want to ignore something that attacked you? Yes!"
"Yeah, let's leave 'em be!" Kimiko agreed, following after Vegito. "We don't wanna orphan the little guy, do we?"

The dragon watched them as they retreated
"So... now we have to find another way. there are lots of passages here, its easy to get lost. lets not forget there might be more dragons"

Kikyo nodded. "I would not be surpised either. If there are more dragons, then they are most likely all mothers trying to raise the young until they are old enough to care for themselves." "You seem to know a lot abouth them, hmm." "They are quite common at home. Just ask Inuyasha or Miroku."
