Zeiphyr Fhidios

PostPosted: Fri Mar 26, 2010 7:38 pm

((of course smile didn't you know that Zeiphyr used to be a mindless murder machine? lol))

Zeiphyr looked towards the man whom approached. Zeiphyr began to wonder whether this was the man whom was in charge, but that was soon answered when the elegant man bowed before him.

Zeiphyr felt no need to speak to the man, though it was not out of disrespect. The man was sure to have earned respect in some form of manner. Zeiphyr simply felt the need to quicken his pace towards the room. Of course, Zarrius' entry did not help that of course.

Zeiphyr turned slowly towards the short demon. Zeiphyr was a bit short himself, but Zarrius beat him by a few inches. Then agian, to jugde one by theri physical appearance is a sore mistake to make.

"I didn't expect to see you here. I am glad to see that you havent' changed. Not that you could of course..." Zeiphyr said facing him, still walking towards the door in a bouncy manner.

"Well...Either one would be fine. You could brief me while making me feel at home. Two birds with one stone, no?"
With a sly smile, Kai took a step towards the angel.
"I assume you know who I am...But I fear I cannot say the same for you. What's your name?"
His eyes scanned the surroundings, their gaze soft but searching. He wasn't really sure what he was looking for, but he was hoping that he could at least get a general idea of where "here" was. Even with his ability to control the earth, he had no clue where he was.

Zarrius looked at Zeiphyr, he had fought against him and with him on several occasions and knew what he could do, but he figured he had gotten better. Zarrius wondered for a brief moment if Oni would ask him to 'dispose' of Zeiphyr. That would be a fun task.... but he doubted that due the the fact that Heaven seemed like an Infinitely more deadly enemy than a drow. Zarrius may have looked very small and frail, even on the fringe of death but he was one of the few people who was faster than Zeiphyr and any one who underestimated him would surely die swiftly.

"I suppose It is refreshing to see that you have yet to learn how to walk and bounce in steed of it, even in the time since we last met, with all the change around here part of me was expecting you to be as Serious as Inferno himself."
Zarrius' voice was dripping with sarcasm, but yet held a certain truth to it for this place had certainly changed a lot...

Zarrius figured that the air head was here for the same basic reason that he was but he decided to verify out any way.
"So what brings you back to the pits of Hell again? I hope you did not come here simply to sit on my shoulders again..." Zarrius voice had a little warning to it was if telling Zeiphyr not to do it with out out right telling him not to do it. He had a strong hunch that if he told Zeiphyr not to do something then he would do it before he even knew it.

"Hmmmm~"
She simply smiled at the first suggestion, quickly moving on to answer Kai's question, "Moirae. Moirae Eve. Fear no longer, as you can now call me by name~"

-
Kai's gaze would take in the small outpost, a simple town for celestials to come and go. The buildings were of gothic architecure, cliche to the whole Heaven scene. To Kai's left there were buildings of little importance, a block ahead and there was a pathway leading out towards a much larger gate. It was a wall that separated and guarded the pathway to a larger city of the celestials. Further down the block was a resteraunt, most notable the aroma of food being prepared and cooked to order. At the far end of Kai's current path would be a place to rest, relax, and rejoice if they so pleased. It was about three stories high and it had the most activity swarming around it.

To Kai's right, buildings of little importance stood to obscure his view of the expansive valleys and hilltops. If Kai followed the first path that lead to his right he would behold the green grass that swayed lightly from the winds. The atmosphere around Kai was pure, rejuvenating, but heavy with spiritual energy. However divine, the aura was notably present. In time it would become "normal" for new and returning beings of Heaven's realm.

In the fields, if Kai chose the nearest path out he'd see off in the far distance a grouping of ruins, pure white stone structure that were half buried in the grass and dirt. To the right of those ruins, several miles away was a large, ominous black cloud, that remained low hanging and full of electrons. If Kai listened carefully he could probably hear something like thunder.

Behind him was a golden gate that reached to the left and right, eventually connecting with the wall to the left. What looked like rippling water could be seen behind the gate as it was a dimensional border that kept Heaven, Hell, and Earth separated.

-

Moirae's demeanor suddenly became more serious as she crossed her arms and leaned back. She was now levitating lazily in the air as it was presumably more comfortable than standing. She would speak, "Heaven and Hell are weak and the Cruix are about to declare war for both sides. This realm is too unstable to keep a force like the Cruix at bay, much less keep balance with Hell. Lucas is recruiting whoever he can to help him in anticipation of this war. You've been chosen, Kai."

Her demeanor lightened a bit, her brow arching by now, "Anyway, tell me what you need! Are you hungry?" She finally cracked a smile again.

Vincent Silverdust
Devil-Steel
User ImageOni sat in his throne unmoving and watched as two of the five fighters he had sent recon teams after formed before him. He would let out a low sigh as he shifted his position in his throne. A somewhat annoyed look would cross over his face as he stared down Vincent and Kestral.

"Kestral Silverdust. Vincent Silverdust. I am sorry to make you wait, but until all that I have sent messengers to have shown up we won't be proceeding. I trust you have no objections to this."

It was clear Oni was growing tired of waiting on Zarrius, Zeiphyr and Negi but unless he were to go out and find them on his own things weren't going to be moving any quicker than they already were.

"It's ok Oni I can wait", Vincent said as he stood and walked around Kestral, "hmm.. havent seen you in a long time Kestral, How has it been"? Vincent asked as he looked at Kestral.

Kestral bowed in the graceful, exotic, Kurai style. He lowered his torso and right shoulder while only tilting his head down slightly, moving his arms in a wide, opposing, circular motion until they met at his heart. With his eyes closed, he resumed his previous stance.

"My apprentice and I certainly have no objections, Lord Ukia. But to what ends, may I ask, do you seek us?" Kestral asked, allowing his smooth voice to ebb across the room.

It was clear to Oni that two more of his fighters had returned to Hell and now he waited on the last appearance. Signaling to the men at the doors they would quickly open them to reveal Zarrius and Zeiphyr. It was about that time that Kestral began to question Oni causing a grin to spread over his face.

"Zarrius, Zeiphyr please join us we have much to discuss."

Turning his attention back to Kestral, Oni would let out a low sigh. Kestrals question would force Oni to start things without having Negi here. Guess I'll have to fill the brat in later.

"I have called all of you here for the same reason. War. Cruxis is a threat that has been around for awhile now. Kikyo did nothing to stop them and I fear that Heaven can't fight their way out of a paper bag. It is for this reason that I have gathered all fighters that served under Kikyo. Each of you shall be receiving promotions for you services that have been rendered. We must also prepare for the upcoming war with Cruxis. I'm sure that all of you have been training while you were gone, but we must all train together so that we can act as a unit or as separate units if the need arises."

Oni would stop for a moment as he took a deep breath and let everything that had already been said sink in. He knew that this was a lot to take in all at once, but it had to be done.

"First I will be giving each of you new ranks, then we shall all go out for a few....exercises. I'm sure all of you with the exception of Kestral are wondering if I am indeed capable of leading you in battle and I plan on proving to all of you I am. By doing this we shall grow closer, if only a little, and thus grow stronger. Any objections?"

Zsafira walked along the hallways again this time heading toward one of the rooms of her squad. Lysander. He was the most unique soul-eater in their world. She knocked on the door callously and waited for him to answer. However being who she was she was impatient for waiting outside someones door. A small surge of energy went under the small crak in the door and would shock the handle into movement unlocking it so she could walk in freely.

"Lysander we have a job to do." She stated walking in triumphantly and full of purpose.

Zarrius stared at Oni, he had known that things were bad but he had never imagined that it could get this bad. Heaven had always been a powerful foe.... To think that they could not fight themselves out of it was unthinkable. He wondered if an alliance would occur, but kept his thoughts to himself. He also wondered what had happened to Kikyo, but he would ask later for there was business to attend to first. It would appear that he had been out of touch longer than he had originally theorized.

"And what, my lord, do you propose we do to grow closer and stronger? What sort of training do you have in mind?"

He wondered if they would have to fight Oni or perhaps fight next to him. Who could they fight that could take more than one of them to kill? However he was rather pleased with the idea of promotion, he had decided tonight when the messenger had declared his title that it was too long for his liking.

Kai smiled and looked up into the sky. "So...I've been chosen...How many others have been picked to fight, Moirae? Is this going to be a battle between me and countless enemies?" He grinned at the thought. He could see it now, hordes of enemies climbing over a hill, the lone elf standing about a mile away, the wind blowing his hair. It didn't turn out well for him in the end, but he still liked the thought...
"Do you happen to have a clothing store around here? If I'm supposed to fight, I'd like the proper gear." He looked back at the angel now. He also realized that he'd have to start practicing again, something that he was slightly looking forward to.
"Also...Is there a training grounds to practice fighting? Sorry for all of the questions..."

"Dream big, it tastes better."

The Codex came alive in his hands and shifted quickly into a silver colored whip, which cracked loudly at each lethargic flick of his wrist. Unfortunately, this loud cracking overwhelmed the gentle knocking of his partner in crime, but she used her power to let herself into the room anyways. He grinned at her as he coiled the whip around his right arm, and looked her up and down as was his custom. As always, she looked better every time he saw her. "Let me guess, you've finally given into your lust for me and have come to tell me so?" he asked, one of the usual jokes that he used whenever she had to talk to him.

He let his grin fade a little and the whip disappeared with it. Then he stood, straightened his clothing, and gave her a quick bow. "So, whats up? Are we on the move again?" he asked, being much more serious now.

She tilted her head out of curiosity as Kai looked to the skies. Her left hand aimlessly stroked her lengthy silver hair as Kai kept on with the questions.

"Ahaha~ Well let's start from...the bottom. There are many places to train yourself. In fact, Lucas has a task for you with that purpose in mind. You can acquire gear here, but I'd suggest going to the larger city for it. Better quality~"

Moirae turned around, her smile quickly disappearing from her lips. She touched ground again and wriggled her fingers for a moment. Another gate was opening before her.

"You sound just like him....countless enemies...Well with her, this will make four of you." Quickly speaking to Kai, Moirae would nod to the portal...

-[For Red]-

-The time was now as it was Red's turn to answer her call. A spiritual calling whispered through her very being as a portal opened up in a nearby park. Stepping through it would lead her to Heaven's realm to where Moirae and Kai would be standing before her.-

It was a strange thing, having a portal open in front of her, in the middle of a park. There was something that propelled her to step inside the portal, a sort of whispering feeling that she knew she had to accept and enter the portal. Her blond windswept hair lifted off her shoulders as a breeze blew past. Crimson eyes studied the portal, before she sucked in her breath and stepped through.

On the other side, she paused to see two people standing before her, more than likely the people whom summoned her through the portal.

((Sorry, I got cut off and had to leave, or it would be longer...))
PostPosted: Sat Mar 27, 2010 2:29 pm

Kai quickly looked at the portal and raised an eyebrow. "So another one is on their w-" He stumbled slightly as he watched someone appear. He laughed quietly then shook his head, closing his eyes. "This will be an interesting next few weeks...That's for sure..."
He then went back to the previous statement. "Larger city, eh? Where would that be?" He looked around, not really seeing anything that would resemble a "large city" on the horizon.
The elf flicked his wrist and a diamond appeared, filling his entire palm. It glimmered in the sunlight, sending prisms in every direction. "How much could this buy here?" Kai held out the diamond in Moirae's general direction, his eyes locking onto her face.

Oni would only smirk as Zarrius asked the question he was waiting on being asked. Standing up Oni would hold out his arms with a smile on his face.

"First thing first, the promotions. Kestral Silverdust, you are being promoted to my right hand. Your only superior is me and no one else. Zarrius, you are now a four star demon. Your superiors will be my brother Negi, Kestral, Roy and myself. Zeiphyr, you are now a three star demon. Your superiors are Zarrius and above. Vincent, you are now a two star demon. Your superiors are Zeiphyr and above. You are my top demons and we must know how to act as a unit. Once my brother shows up we will split into two teams. I will lead Alpha Team, and Kestral will lead Bravo Team. The only restrictions are that we cannot be paired with someone we already know. What does this mean? Me and Negi cannot be on the same team. Kestral and Vincent cannot be on the same team. Zarrius and Zeiphyr cannot be on the same team. So Kestral with that said I leave the final team member choice up to you. Would you prefer Zarrius or Zeiphyr for this hunt? Once you decide we must await Negi and then we can set out."

Oni would sit back down as he began to think about their upcoming hunt and the dangers that lie in wait for them.
