Completly not expecting that, Nitro looked at his master to make sure he wasn't crazy. Mike simply smiled, "I know you can do this Nitro, it will be easy."
The Charmeleon walked forward proudly, he was itching for a fight. "Char! Cha!" he roared at the seemingly emotionaless Nosepass.
"Wait, let me get this straight, you chastize me for sending rock types out to battle your Cloyster, but then you make a completle loony out of yourself by sending out a fire type!? You really are crazy Mike..." said Roxanne, with a little laugh. "If you want my Nosepass to beat your Charmeleon down just say the word..."
Mike simply laughed. "Nitro and I have been together more than you know Roxanne, he is far more powerful than you seem to beleive, a price that may prove to costly for you to pay! Now Nitro, Metal Claw!"
The command seemed to echo throug-out the gym as Nitro charged at the Nosepass, rearing it's paw.

A little surprised, Roxanne watched as the Charmeleon's attack connected with feirce power, slicing three large gashes in the rocky Pokemon's hide. "NooOoOoes!" cried the Nosepass, stumbling backwards.
"He may have gotten a luckey shot in, but nothing can change your type advantage Nosepass! Rock Throw!" screamed Roxanne, pointing furiously at the attacking lizard.
Out of the groud 4 rather large rocks rose, and one by one they flew at Nitro. He dodged the first one without problem, sending a laugh towards the rock Pokemon.
But that wasn't the best move.
The second rock snagged Nitro's tail, spinning him around right into the third, strinking him right in the left shoulder, and the fourth skimming the crest on his head. "Chaaaar!" he yelled in pain as a glare came across his face. If looks could kill, this face would be a invitation to the afterlife.
Not hesitating, Mike ordered, "Nitro, use Smokescreen!"

A trainer. And obviously a loopy one at that. Venerax sighs. "A sneak theif?" He shakes his head, and gets up. "More like your the sneak theif, coming up on me like that from the shadows with three pokemon. Sounds more like something Team Rocket would do."
"In fact, you're probably just calling me a theif, so you can take my discovery, to cover up you're very own sneakiness with a twist of heroism," Venerax brushes his sopping hair from his face. "Aren't you? Well, I won't let you take it without a fight."

Leslianna Bryn's mother woke her up with breakfast already made and was feeding the two pokemon already.
"You are NOT leaving this house without a full stomach. No matter HOW urgent Prof. Oak has made this seem." Bryns mother used, she knew she was in trouble with the tone that her mother just used. She wondered what she could've done but it clued in to her the moment she saw that her mother had also packed her a bunch of food. Last time she left, she had forgot to say goodbye.
After her lecture, and breakfast and repacking everything. She grabbed Hunter and sandshrew said goodbye and took off to Professor Oak. She got through the door and put down Sandshrew
"Professor! I'm here you needed me for something?" Bryn called out and Professor Oak poked his head out of the doorway.
"This way Bryn!" He called out and Bryn went straight in. Immediately Professor Oak took Sandshrew turned to Jenna.
"Excuse me I must examine this Sandshrew please you are welcome to watch and see what the process for a pokemon is like." Professor Oak explained and did the basic tests, checking heart rate, how well the Sandshrews eyesight was in different lighting conditions, and the sharpness of its claws. Learning that Sandshrew was indeed female and very healthy.
"OH my apologies! Jenna, this is my assistant Bryn. I have her out right now proving her thesis and learning more of the ways of a pokemon. Her dream is quite realistic and I can't wait to see her achieve it." Professor Oak said with pride gleaming in his eyes. Bryn nodded to Jenna and took her Sandshrew back and was trying to hide her very red face.
Bryn placed her Sandshrew down and sat in front of her.
"I shall call you Ace." Bryn finally picked a name and let Ace roam around a bit keeping a close eye on her.

"What? Me?? Team Rocket??" Kasiya balled her fists and glared at the young man angrily. "How dare you accuse me of trying to steal your stolen property! I saw you coming over the fence carrying that, that thing! And if you think for a minute that I''m going to let you get away with it, you''ve got another thing coming!" She motioned to Ariel and Growly to get back, and Pikachu stayed out front, ready for battle.

Thick black smoke poured out of Nitro''s mouth as he blew the cloud at the Nosepass. It fidgeted a bit and threw a few more rocks at the Charmeleon, but they were rushed and easily dodged.
"Yeah! It''s working! Finish it off Nitro!" Mike yelled, sensing victory.
"Chaarmeleon!" cried Nitro as he leapt up in the air, his claws shining a metallic silver. He meant to finish this battle, and show the rock types of the world that he was a force to be reckoned with.
"No!" Roxanne shouted.
Time seemed to stop as Nitro struck.
Nosepass''s namestack cracked as a peice of his rocky snout erupted from his body. It shrieked in pain, running around in circles as more peices continued to crumble from it''s face. Soon the dislodging discontinued, and so did the Pokemon.
Falling over in a pile of it''s own rocks, Nosepass fainted, and Nitro was victorious

"It's ok, Belle! You're not in trouble or hurt or anything. I just thought you'd like to meet Professor Oak and his assistant Bryn. They seem to know a lot about Pokemon." she smiled reassuringly down at her frightened pokemon.
"Is that a Clefairy?!" Professor Oak asked excitedly. He turned towards the little pokemon with avid interest. "Shes' a little small, isnt' she?" he asked as he reached for his stethescope. Jenna carefully picked up her pokemon and placed it where the Sandshew, Ace, had just been sitting and held Belle's hand while Professor Oak went through the standard pokemon tests again. While he examined Belle, Jenna explained how she had rescued the Clefairy from a live trap near Mount Moon while on a hike with her parents.
"Maybe that's why she's a bit small...No offense, Belle." she added, as the little Clefairy looked up at her pouting slightly. "She may have been in that trap for a while with no food and it might've stunted her growth a bit...What do you think, Professor? Will she be ok in the long run?" Jenna asked nervously, hoping her pokemon would live a long and healthy life. She unconsiously held Belle's hand a little tighter, giving the pokemon a reassuring squeeze.
"I think that she'll be just fine, Jenna. However, try to keep her out of many prolonged fights and battles, and dont' let her walk for too long outside of her Pokeball. Her heart sounded a bit weak to me." He held up a hand, palm out, and waved away her coming questions and concerns. "Take good care of her just like you would any other family member, and Belle will be just fine. Now, would you mind giving me a moment with my assistant? I did call her here on some urgent news."
Jenna nodded and scooped up her Clefairy, smiling to Bryn once on her way back out to the reception area. She found a chair to wait in and to digest the Professor's diagnosis. A weak heart! She vowed then and there to do everything she could to take the absolute best care of this special, tiny, pokemon.

Geeze she is loopy. "And where do you think you take a fossil to be looked at around here? The museum of course. And for all you know I work for the museum," Venerax huffs. "But if it's a fight you want then it's a fight you're going to get. C'mon Calculus!"
Calculus moves forward. It's head spins 360 degrees, then it puts it's chin down ready to fight. "Porygon!"

"Bring it!" Kasiya cried, her heart pounding in excitement. Two trainer battles in one day! "Let's go, Shocker! Use Thundershock! Now!"
Shocker raced forward and leaped into the air. "Pi...ka....CHUUUUU!" she cried, and let loose her electricity on the virtual Pokemon.

"...Never before have I been bested by a fire Pokemon...". The defeated Gym Leader said as she called back her beaten Nosepass. "Thank you Mike, you have taught me that Pokemon battles aren''t merely based on technicallities and type advantages, but on the Pokemon''s inner strength, and it''s connection with it''s trainer." She placed the Pokeball in a slot on her belt, then reached into a bag and then searched out three different items."You have grown up alot from the little boy from Lavaridge that came by here years ago. I hereby present you with the Stone Badge, 4000 Poke dollars, and my favorite TM, TM 39: Rock Tomb"
"Thank you Roxanne, I really enjoyed fighting you, and hope to do so again." Mike said respectivly, taking all three prizes and placing them carefully in his bag.
"As did I, and I''m sure we will Mike." She smiled, then looked at Shiver. "You worked just as well as I expected and more Shiver, Mike is truely a great trainer to have a Pokemon as strong as you." Her gaze now focused on Nitro. "You surprised me very much today Nitro, you have gained my respect. I shall not take fire types for granted anymore." Adding in a chuckle.
After the little speech, Roxanne and Mike registered each other's Pokenavs. She walked back to her chair and inserted her Pokeballs into a little machine on the left arm. A small beam of light emitted from the machine as her Pokemon were healed instantly. She then sat back down, awaiting her next challenge.

((Can't wait to see the experiance rack up on that one, I bet both of them are past level 20 xd ))
Mike, Nitro and Shiver walked to the other side of the gym, greeting Mitsu and her Pokemon. Mike gave her a long, warm hug, like it was routine. "Your turn Mitsu." He said with a smile, still happy about his recent triumph.

((Is anyone else in/near Pallet Town? Maybe I could catch a pokemon now? A pidgey?))
After waiting some time for Bryn to get finished in Professor Oak's office, she decided to go for a walk, leaving a note for Bryn to catch up with her north of Pallet town. Jenna placed Clefairy in her packsack so the little pokemon could enjoy the scenery without tiring too much and set out.
After a few minutes of walking on the outskirts, she encountered an area of tall grass. Jenna knew that Pokemon lived there, so she tried to avoid it, but the road seemed to lead right through it! Having no choice, she entered into the grass.

"PORYYYYYY!!!" Calculus cries out, as the Thundershock strikes him.
"Calculus return!" Venerax recalls Calculus before it hits the ground. Right, loopy also means dangerous Venerax looks stunned. "Well, that was over quick enough now wasn't it," He says sarcastically. "Are you happy you fried Calculus?"
"So what are going to do now? Fry me too?"
"The only proof you've got is that I came from the entrance of the research lab of the museum carrying a what? A rock? And you spotted me from where?" Spots Kasiya badge. "From the gym. Hmmmm....well that woman, or is it a man? Can you tell? Looks pretty shifty too, and they seem to be behind a fence as well? Would you like to go and assault them as well?"
