Oh, I intend to keep them.
But i'm also planning at stopping sometime around 1000-1500, rather than trying to have 500-1000 in each city.
This way if sometime decides to smack me back, they'll be in for a rude awakening.

I know Seph was NOT pleased with the growth lockdown. I also know that Belrias was a serious sore point with him; there's been bad blood between the two of them since Seph's first day out of noobprotect. If I remember correctly, Belrias hit him twice; he scouted Belrias after the second hit to see if he could fight back, and got hit twice more. It was at this point that he joined HME, but I think there was still a steady flow of pissy PMs going back and forth between them. The fault in this is shared, not Seph's alone. All I can do is write it off as two alpha males having a 'my d**k is bigger than your d**k' fight. sad

I fully understand and can sympathize with a history of bad relations, and that it is not Seph going out of his way to make things difficult. However, there does come a time when you just have to swallow your pride, and from the sounds of things that is not what happened. I'll miss him, but if it was the best course of action, I can't really disagree with the outcome. Also, it appears my culture has grown faster than I expected, so I'll likely be delayed by needing to ramp up and spit out some settlers. I'll have to take a look at the general area and feel out a place I like. My question, though, is just how closely clustered are we hoping to be over there? Multiples of us in a single 7x7, or more along the lines of sitting in more-or-less adjacent 7x7s?

I imagined an HME blob, Balc, for the Colony. I don't think 7x7's will work too well.
Ogre won't be joining us again, as he's quit Travian for the most part. He just likes to mess with people now.

I'll probably get my men walking tomorrow, but I want 350/46 and 351/46.
It'll be fun, especcially since one group of settlers will be walking clear across the map. (Not kidding, SW to NE. The other group has a relatively short march, from NW to NE. *grimace*)

Thanks, Ellie. By about 10 AM tomorrow, my settlers from Black Keep are going to be walking, Salamander may have to start walking tomorrow night. I've already got the resources to build all the settlers, I just need the palace to be done.
For Salamander, the residence is done, but I'm waiting for the resources. sweatdrop
