[[nope, cause in true combat, your attack will never do the same amount of damage cause you can't keep that kind of focus in the heat of battle. That's why their are damage ranges. Just cause you hit one scorpion on the base of the tail doesn't mean that all of them have the same pain reaction o that area.]]

Reck made his way to the Kara Badlands having Ananube follow behind him. At this point there were two options, they could go around the badlands avoiding any danger at all and continue or cut through and take a chance. He looked back at Ananube and asked her what she would rather do.
"We could either go around the badlands or cut through. Going around is safer but it will take a little more time and utting through is faster but more dangerous."
She simply looked at him and crossed her arms as if he had done something wrong.
"We gotta make it back to the village before the night is out. What do you think?"
She said with an annoyed tone in her voice. Reck smiled a little and looked towards the badlands looking around quickly for any immidiate danger. He stared walking towards the area keeping his eyes open for anything and waved his hand at Ananube.
"Your the boss Ananube. Try to stay close and don't get lost."
"heh, ok."
Reeck and Ananube then made their way into the middle of the badlands avoiding any danger so far.

Reck and Ananube continued to make their way through the badlands towards the Abunai Canyon and were making pretty good time since the wind was calm so there was no dust stome to slow them down. While walking, Ananube tripped on something and accidently pushed Reck over on his face. He quickly got up and turned to her.
"Why did you push me?!"
She shook her foot to make sure it wasnt broken or anything then looked up at Reck poking his nose with her index finger.
"I tripped! Why didn't you tell me that this place was full of pot holes?"
Reck leaned back a little and pointed at her waving his finger in her face.
"That's no reason to push me! And your such...wait. Pot hole? What do you mean pot hole?"
She turned back and looked at a hole in the ground that went down for a ways and wasnt man made.
"That pot hole."
He froze for a second then got to his feet helping her to her feet rapidly and pulled her along running.
"We gotta go! This is giant scorpion territory. Their already dangerous but at night they travel in groups."
Reck pulled Ananube along avoiding all the scorpion holes along the way and hoped that they wouldn't realize that they were there.

Reck and Ananube had almost made it out of the scorpion territory but right at the edge of the zone, there was a group of scorpions searching for food under the moon light. Reck stopped suddenly holding an arm out infront of Ananube and whispered to her.
"Follow me and stay quiet. We don't want to attract their attention."
She nodded to him signaling that she understood him and started to follow him. He slowly crept to the side attempting to walk around the scorpion occupied area and make it afew yards to the canyon. Half way around the area, ananube tripped on a rock and didn't yell or make a sound but was falling down. Reck noticed quickly and leaned back under her catching her before she hit the ground and gave away their presence. She then stood back up helping Reck up too and they safely walked past the field of scorpions and now were making their path towars the Abunai Canyon.

Izumi, seeing Amaya take a blow from the scorpion, rushed in thoughtlessly to help her. Using his momentum, he leapt into the air to deliver a flying kick to the scorpions exposed side.

The scorpion was caught completely off guard as Izumi crashed into it and was sent flying. Izumi quickly motioned for Amaya to get behind him. She had saved him before and now it was time for him to repay the favor. His thoughts were interrupted by the scorpions stirring. It was angry and ready for a fight.

Reck was running as fast as his body would let him with the additional weight of Ananube on his back as they flew through the badlands. At this point, going around the field of giant scorpions wasn't an option since they were extremly pumped for time. Reck turned his head slightly and smiled at Ananube.
"Ok Ananube, you gotta hold on tight now and whatever happens don't let go."
She gave him a little nod as she held on to him tighter snuggling her face into his back and he went strait into the giant scorpion territory. As soon as they realized that Reck was coming their way, they all began to make a kind of hissing noise and reared their tails back as they also snapped their claws. Reck came directly at them stingers flying everywere and claws snapping at his arms and legs. He manovered past the tails and claws jumping and spinning past each set not letting a single on touch him or Ananube and soon enough they made it past the scorpion territory. Reck was breathing heavily since his body didn't rest and he was pushing it past its limits and Ananube looked up to see how hard he was pushing himself just to help her get some rare plants back home. She looked to the side and saw over the horizon that the sun was about to rise and she told Reck in his ear that they only had about 8 minutes left. With that, He pushed himself even harder running even faster towards the village covering miles of land in minutes. Within 5 minutes they made it to the edge of the Badlands and were coming up on the entrance to the village.
"Were...gonna...hhuuu....make it...."

(Scorpion Hp 9-6=3 One more hit and he's down!)
Things were really starting to heat up down in the caves... Partially because of all the fighting and general running around but something else was making it unnaturally hot. Izumi silently wondered what it could it be but was forced to save the question for later when the scorpion scuttled towards him and jabbed its pincer into his chest.

Izumi attempted to side step the blow but failed and the pincer grazed his chest. Using the impact from the blow, Izumi pushed off on the ground and jumped back to get some distance between himself and the scorpion. That way he could build up some more momentum for a more powerful attack.

Izumi quickly slid to a stop and launched himself at the scorpion once more, balling up his fist and coiling his arm into a prime punching position. The scorpion hissed and braced itself as Izumi launched his punch at the scorpions face.
