Hello everyone! I have 2 trumpets, a cornet, a bugle, and piccolo trumpet..... lol
I am in the symphonic band at my high school, and I am pretty good at playing the trumpet. In fact, people say that I only need to work on my endurance and range. I get good at those, and I would be one of the better players... lol

hey. i have one trumpet, a gold getzen. the 3rd valve slide has been missing for two years and i have been using a zip tie to hold it on xd

Huzzah! That's cool... Bahh. domokun Today wasn't a very good day for me... I hardly hit double G. Usually it's easy for me to get out, and the other day I hit double C, barely, but I could make the note out. Meh, at least I played Eye of the Tiger an octave higher today, lol. Man, I'll be needing to get a nice concert horn soon, specifically a King Silver Flair which is much nicer than my old Bach one... ugh.
I feel stalkerish... stare

i like my trumpet...and i get to help out in the middle skool
yes i get to c all my 8th grade friends...
and Mr.Wise my old band director said i get to solol again w00t
..... ^_^ so even if im a freshman i still get a solo>_<
and i get to play at games to cuz there 1st trumpet play is goin to a new skool just to march i miss him he was my best friend ever now i dont get to c him T.T well thats it for me

Wow, you're in 8th grade and you guys already play at games? Do you guys march? Wow. I just started freshman year and we're marching and stuff. Last year we didn't get to do those things till high school, which is finally now for me. woots!
Btw, we have a game today. Not a formal one, just a scrimmage within our school team, starts at 5, and rehearsal is at 4. We're playing in the stands and on the field, not marching though, since we don't have all of our drill sets for our show yet. We have 18, and we know 16 of them, heh, but that's a good thing. We'll get em down pretty soon.
What sucks is my trombonist friend has football practice right before marching band rehearsals, so he won't be able to play with the band tonight since he's on the football team and such. cry I'll miss him, but oh well, I have many buddies that I can chat with and such.

hey every one i'm a senior trumpet player not 1st chair though sweatdrop *sighs* but i have 1 trumpet its a 37 year old Benge still looks brand new and 4 mouthpieces 1 7c 1 3c 1 custom marching mouthpiece adn 1 custom balanced mouthpeice which i love and can play double C with like its a staff C. i also play the flugel horn but im not at the moment. yeah i love marching band it rocks

Sadly, my band doesn't do anything when it comes to marching except for marching in two parades. I wish we did competitions...
On a happier note, I'm going to get my new trumpet before school starts, as long as shipping isn't a stupid amount of money. biggrin It's a Bach stradevarius, model 37, and I love how it looks (except for that icky thing on the back valve, the one that looks like a "U").

aw, i just had my first real game as a freshman and we won! the band meet and greet was fun, i love the trumpet guys from the other band and next time i see them ill give them a hug and tell them i love them. not as much as i love my drumline buddy though haha its a secret though he doesnt know. it was fun though! i played my buddys french horn and he played my trumpet and i did surprisingly well on his horn. heh, it has like the same valves, almost, eh, i dunno. i feel high and someone grabs people, thats all i have to say. ugghhh

I used to be the only girl in the brass but then we got another girl trumpet, a girl tuba, and a girl trombone... It made me sad...
I was no longer special and surrounded by only men.. emo xd
