I sigh as I listen to how he was being treated unfairly. "I think I found the first step to solving that problem. This might seem like a dumb question, but can you read Braille?" It's not his fault he's blind. He can't function like a person who can see. Yet he's being treated like he's the same as his teammates. That's not fair to him.

One other...Leave Sanctuary...Come here? Okay, the first part was logical, she supposed, but that last bit, "I'm sorry... It might just be me being new, but I thought these lovely gardens were part of the Sanctuary? How do you leave Sanctuary to come here?" she said, imploringly, "And at least you have one other... Oh, and if you ever need someone to talk to because you're lonely or just because, you can come find me. I like making other people have better days if I can."

I started to glance back and forth when Nekora showed up. It seemed like this was going to be a regular thing and I really wasn't getting used to it. But when she lies down on the table and requests pets, I can't help but oblige, so I go ahead and start stroking her upper back.

Ayumu:
"Whoa, whoa!" Jasmine says, blushing a bit. "I think Chi has potential but doesn't utilize it properly. I didn't want her to be my roommate, but she didn't want to be with any of you and she's required to be with a member of her team. Like her in ways...? Oh, Ayumu! No, I don't, and that's very rude of you to suggest that!"
She pauses at the last question.
"What did I look like as a boy?" she repeats. "I..."
She looks away, biting her lip.
Chi:
"A little," Jean-Paul replies, still sniffling a little. "I can read most words, though."
Emmy:
"I think you're getting confused between up and down," Jacqueline says. "This is the mansion, where the average magical girls live. Up above the clouds is the Sanctuary, where the Order's leaders and high-class Scribes reside. That was where you were taken to be transformed.
Jade:
Her skin is smooth and feels nice, but it's a little cold. You figure that her water/ice powers are always active, creating a chill around her that she doesn't notice and no one notices until they get really close to her, like when touching her.

I lift up Jean-Paul's hands and give him the book. "I found this and thought it'd be a good place to start. I can help you out with areas you don't understand because there's print along with Braille. Also, if it's okay with you, can I hang out here for a while to get away from my teammates? A couple of them are trying to stick their noses in my business, one's really clingy, and I get the feeling they talk about me behind my back." I shudder as I say the last part.

She giggled"I am sorry Jasmine I wanted to know cause, well I guess I was Curious"she then saw how Jasmine reacted to the last Question"I am sorry...I just thought...you wouldn't mind, although I guess after so long you probably have forgotten yourself..." she slowly put her hands to Nekora and rubbed her side while thinking"Or...is there another reason you do not like your boy form?" she didn't expect Jasmine to answer but she wanted to see if she would.

He pauses to think.

Jasmine is quiet for several minutes.
"My boy form is physically disabled," she says at length, tears in her eyes. "But I wasn't born that way..."

I flip over to sit on the bench and try to transform into my normal form. "What happened? Battle wound? Unfortunate childhood accident?" I ask curiously.

"A whole class beat me and left me in a ditch to die," Jasmine says slowly, tears welling up even more.
Emmy:
"It's all right," Jacqueline replies. "But you might want to memorize a few things like that. By the way, why are you out here alone?"
