Alistair didn't back off, he merely smirked. The girl was quick to lash out when attacked, just as always. Though he didn't understand their relationship -- or most relationship foo that matter -- Alistair knew better. The man somehow found her in her old home. He's gonna think it was fate. He'll continue to come for Red like she was a hunk of gold, only to realize she's pyrite once Alistair found out. "You died once. You were fortunate enough for some necromancer to try and revive you. I can personally tell you that no one ever gets a third chance. Not in life... or with me." He stepped back and began to gather his things. "When Greed comes back, I want you to instruct him to take over temporarily if a new trainee comes along. Come to the estate once you do so." With that, he simply walked out of the door. There was no need for some showy method of transportation.

Trainee Citizen Jace finally entered the building he'd been searching for the past few hours. He was finally where he was supposed to be... So why did he all of a sudden feel so much more lost than he ever had before? Oh yes that's right, He would all of a sudden be thrust into a different lifestyle than he had ever before known.
Jace took a quick glance about at the facility, there was an amount of training equipment he hadn't even imagined could exist let alone in a single room. He then looked down at his guns holstered on his forearms, not exactly a typical place for them but he thought it looked pretty impressive whenever he drew them, and the Dagger he had sheathed on his lower calf. He was suddenly very aware of his lack of skill or practice with the weapons, it was about time to start training.
But where to start? Jace thought, he didn't even know what some of the equipment was, much less what the rules of the place were, and though he was embarrassed to admit it, it had taken him a good while just to figure out how to clean his guns. He looked around and saw a few people but they all seemed busy, so Jace didn't dare to speak for the moment. He decided to stand there looking as lost as possible, which wasn't much of a stretch, and waited for someone to approach him, call to him, or anything else that would remove his doubts of what to do. x x xxxSTATSX Strength: 5 X Speed: 9 X Energy: 500 xWEAPONSDagger Semi-Automatic X2xxxAmmo 60 (60 max)"Its better to be smart than strong these days."

Red didn't say anything more, her stare would watch as Alistair gathered his things and left. Her stance remained there for a moment. If she had blood, it would boil. Fists were clenched, they trembled for a few seconds before she moved.
"GREED!"
His name in correlation with the young man coming through the door, who looked rather lost and weak compared to the rest. She would walk up to the boy, he looked about her age, if she were alive.
"Welcome. Greed will help with you your training. What ever your skills are, he can give you the resources and such." Red turned to look at Greed, he was like a bull in a china shop. "Hey! Get get over here and train him. I will be back later." With that, she moved past the human, and walked out the doors.

Greed

Feared Exalted Evil? As Greed finished having fun with magnetism, he would immediately hear Red call his name. So much for taking a break... He would think to himself as Red volunteered him to train the student. "Jeez, alright. But only because you asked so god damned politely." He said, shaking his head as he stopped moving the magnetized items around. He walked over to the trainee, black combat boots thudding against the hard floor as his spear like tail waved lazily about his head. Upon reaching the trainee, he would eye him up and down. "Gunslinger right? Never seen anybody else with holsters so odd besides those damned marksmen. And stop looking so helpless... the vampires will gobble you up if you don't at least act like you can defend yourself." He asked as his tail gripped a book off of the shelf behind him. The tail would toss the book quickly to the gunslinger, sending the book sailing for his face. "Here, learn all semi automatic skills and general gunslinger skills up to your rank. I'd teach ya personally, but I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn when it comes to guns. After you finish, lemme know and I can help teach ya your element." He would state as his hand made a hurrying motion, telling the trainee to get a move on with his learning. Trainee Citizen The others Noticed Jace quickly enough and now the gunslinger was fast on his way to learning, just as his first book was fast on its way to his face. Jaces Left hand quickly shot up and plucked the book from midair about 3 inches or so from his face, he lowered the book revealing a smirk that gave him a general air of being awfully pleased with himself. "Yeah Gunslinger is about right. and don't worry too much about me, just need to get acclimated." Jace opened the book waiting enough time to form a quick thought about his newfound circumstances, Well, so far a Diabolus and a Feral ad not a damn Human in sight, it's a whole new world. He opened the book and looked at the general Gunslinger skills there were only two skills of the lower levels and one for the semi-automatc, which Jace new he could learn but they would take a Lot of practice, He glanced at Greed, Best to just keep with the basics for now and not keep his instructor waiting. Jace would come back to the book later. "Glancing..." Jace whispered as he closed his eyes, this was all about target acquisition so it'd be best to find three targets as soon as his eyes opened. Jace spun around to face the dummies, drawing his Pistols as he did so, thanks to his holsters the weapons were free and clear by the time he opened his eyes. Three grouped closely together towards the right they would be the easiest three to shoot if he were shooting. (Glancing Learned)For the next skill, Jace would actually have to fire his weapons to ensure he was doing it well enough. He walked over to a paper target range and set the target t go to a random positioning three times with a delay of ten seconds between changes. He pressed a button telling the machine to start and close his eyes, when he heard it stop he opened his eyes as he drew his weapons and fired aiming for the head, he repeated this process twice more, on the final repetition things had seemed to move incredibly slowly. He called the target back and saw the three shots he had fired, one had hit the throat, another would have taken an ear from a person, and the third shot what Jace knew was the last, would've been right between the eyes. "Looks like a closed casket for you buddy," Jace chuckled. (Glancing Shot Learned) Jace walked back to the dummies, flipping the gun with his finger inside the guard as he approached them, by the time he reached the dmmies he was confident he could catch the barrel ad strike in one fluid motion and he did. (Pistol Whipping Learned)He turned back to the Diabolus and said with a smirk in his eyes and across his face, "What Can I say I'm a quick study." Jace new Greed was unlikely to be impressed but hey, the way the Gunslinger saw it, it was just that confidence that he had mentioned at first. xxxSTATSX Strength: 5 X Speed: 9 X Energy: 500 xWEAPONSDagger Semi-Automatic X2xxAmmo 57 (60 max)xxxRight Hand Mag: 9 (12 max)xxxLeft Hand Mag: 12 (12 max)"Its better to be smart than strong these days."

Feared Exalted Evil? As the gunslinger finished with learning the skills Greed had told him to learn, he nodded in approval. "Good work. Keep it up, and you might be ready for a real target someday. Now what's your element kid?" He asked. Once Jace replied, Greed's tail would shoot towards the book shelf once more. Snatching another book from the shelf, the obsidian black tail would lightly toss the book at the gunslinger, this throw not bearing nearly as much velocity as the last one. This book was a book on whatever element Jace said he used. Ruby red eyes would turn away from the gunslinger for a moment, roaming over the large book shelf. The berserker was looking for a book, and an important one too. It wasn't one for skills of his benefit, but rather a full list of holy skills, as well as a rundown of paladins, clerics and the like. For now, Greed was simply going to study his opposite, and find the best way to counter many of the skills that could mean his end if he wasn't careful. Trainee Citizen "Well then look out world for Jace Bader," The excitement of the moment had died off already and so there was a bored almost sarcastic tone to his voice. "I'm Wind, or so some lady at the library told me, said she was psychic or something," No sooner had Jace said it that another book was tossed into his hands. He peeled the book open and began to browse for the skills he could learn. There was an air suction technique... Hehe now I can pull books off the shelf without using my hands too, and an air striking technique which would come in handy if things got a little close for comfort.
First up was air suction, Jace was tying to figure out how he was going to make the air do as he wanted it to he figure a good place to start would be to imagine a cone coming form the palm of his hand to the object to move. He tried the technique on the Gunslinger book and to his surprise it actually worked. (Air Suction Learned)
Now Jace was too focused to make any snarky comments, using the some principle as the last technique he envisioned this time a sphere coming from his fist as he punched, aiming at a dummy. Sure enough this worked as well, the little gust of wind struck the dummy and tipped it over. He walked over and reset the dummy marveling at how quickly he was learning how to do things that he had never done before. (Air Punch/Kick Learned)

Her demise. Didn't she gain satisfaction from it also? It gave her freedom, another chance at life. She stopped walking, letting the snowfall collect and wet the vermillion strands. It was quiet, a steady thrum of energy gathering, coursing through hollow veins.
You can't hide it. xxxxxxxxxxxx "I know." You desire- xxxxxxxxxxxx "Not right now."
Her words were lost in the wind, a forgotten melody and the host quiet. She was done with the questions, she had no answers. Instead, the normal numb seized all of her senses. Red made her way up the steps, the same ones that she would call home. The woman entered, stopping at the door to stare at Greed and the human. Shoving her hands into her pockets, the feral crossed room to them. "Is your training done?"

Greed
The Devil's Advocate • Rank: Adept • bloodline: Diobolus • Class: Berserker • currently equipped: Bottom right picture • feeling:
Feared Exalted Evil? As Chase continued to train in his element, Greed found the book he was searching for. The Diabolus sat criss crossed on the ground, holding the book in between his legs and reading. As he finished page after page his obsidian black tail would flip it to the next page, becoming more educated on how his opposites fought. As he flipped through the pages it covered a remarkable amount of things, including strengths, weaknesses, and possible counters. He looked up as the red haired captain walked in, watching as the snow covered woman crossed over to them. His eyes returned to his book, one hand holding it open as the other ebony black clawed fingertips tapped faintly against the ground in a steady beat while reading sentence after sentences. Once the feral reached them, he would speak. The Diabolus's ruby red gaze would not divert from his book a second time however. "I dunno if you're talkin' about me or the fresh meat... i'm done training, for now. He still needs to learn a bit more I think." Greed would reply idly to his captain, his tail flipping another page in the middle of his sentence as he did so. Trainee Citizen As the feral made her teen try Jace noticed that she was covered in snow. Seeing as he was unsure who she might be addressing, he kept his silence for the time being. Then the Diabolus answered for himself and left Jace to give his own answer on his training. "I've learned all the trainee abilities so far except for any hand to hand, I assume that learning those as well is expected of me?" suddenly Jace was aware that he still had no clue who the hell these people were and as evidenced by the Diabolus remark about fresh meat, they likely didn't know him from Adam either. "Jace Bader btw, gunslinger, wind user, human. Pleased ta meetcha!" Jace said it with mock enthusiasm and a hint of sarcastic humor as he extended his hand in a sudden and fluid movement, again putting undue emphasis on the gesture, despite the fact that it was information he thought people he would be working with for at least a while should know.

"Tch, Greed, you continue looking at your picture book." Red smirked, then her amber gaze would stare at the human. "You have learned all your E and D skills for gunslinger and elemental?" The feral crossed her arms, ignoring his hand. "Word to the wise, I wouldn't offer to shake hands with anyone. A bad idea for the fleshy. Also, you only get one hand-to-hand, so choose wisely."
Stepping back, she would respond, "I'm Captain. The name is Red. Once you have all your skills learned, let me know and I can give you a mission." Her fiery hair shifted, the hood pushed away as she moved towards the diabolus, looking through the books to find the few she wanted for her own training.
After that, she'd head out to the outside training area.

Feared Exalted Evil? As Red mentioned picture books, Greed chuckled slightly as he shook his head. "What can I say? I'm a lover of children's stories. they're so... inspiring." he said in mock earnesty as he continued to read, his vermillion eyes shifting as he drank in the information he sought after. When the gunslinger mentioned a hand to hand style, Greed's eyes snapped up from his book to the human. "If you need help with close quarters combat, i'll teach you. I'm probably the best martial artist here. If nothing, i'm at least the most well versed. I can even help you pick out a style suited for you if you have trouble deciding. Just a fair warning though, I like to play rough." The demon said with a dangerous glint in his eyes, his interest piqued. While he couldn't help worth s**t in his gunslinging skills, Greed's expertise lay specifically in hand to hand combat. He knew the basics of many styles, and was even nearing mastery in a couple of them. While he wouldn't kill the gunslinger, he'd definitely push him around a bit... hell, it'd probably toughen him up if anything. Trainee Citizen Jace couldn't help but to smile at the cracks about the picture books, both from Red, the feral, and the Diabolus whose name he still didn't know. It would have to wait till later though, he was just glad to know that they did have a sense of humor. When Red gave Jace the tip about not offering his hand he grimaced a bit at the new thoughts dancing in his head, sharply scaled skin ripping at his own, his hand being crushed by the force of someone who forgot their strength, rotting flesh rubbing off on to him... It was enough to make him shudder. "Thanks for the tip... Red," Jace added the Ferals name almost as an after thought.
Jace had noticed the amount of D-rank techniques available in the 2 books he'd learned from so far, there were two more books left, something hand to hand and the dagger which he had forgotten about. His shoulders slumped and his face took on a look of disbelief, he thought he was progressing quickly but this would take days still of training. When the Diabolus offered to help him in his hand to hand however he brightened up, "Well I guess it might be a good idea to start of with some hand to hand then, I don't know much though. But something that has to do with either quick, repeated strikes or single quick strikes would be ideal." Jace was only human, anything relying on strength would be a no-go, but he was a gunslinger, therefore he was quick, he needed to play to his strengths as much as possible. He figured the Diabolus would be able to pick the best style for him to learn, he wasn't looking forward to taking a beating from him though, Jace had a high pain tolerance... But only on the human scale. This was going to hurt ALOT

Greed
The Devil's Advocate • Rank: Adept • bloodline: Diobolus • Class: Berserker • currently equipped: Bottom right picture • feeling:
Feared Exalted Evil? Greed's eyebrow would raise as the gunslinger mentioned his preferred methods of fighting. So he was a striker, not the countering type. Greed could appreciate this type of fighting, as these were his preferred methods of attack as well. There were so many decisions, but since Jace could only learn one style, Greed would be forced to narrow it down. The berserker would walk around the gunslinger in a circle, sizing the trainee up and getting a feel for his strengths and weaknesses when it came to close quarters combat. "Well, then that narrows it down to a few choices. For a quick repeating type of style, Wing Chun would be ideal. Your strikes won't be all that powerful, but you'll definitely strike A LOT, ince Wing Chun is the fastest striking style I can think of. For heavy hitting quick strikes, I recommend either boxing, or Capoira. Capoira if you like kicking, boxing if you prefer punches. Boxing will teach you how to dodge melee attacks too, which is great since you probably don't wear any armor. Muay thai is another option if you like hard strikes, but I wouldn't recommend it because it's suited for more... physical fighters. And as a human gunslinger, no offense but you're pretty squishy. Anyways, lemme know what you decide on, and I can start teaching you. After that, we'll draw our focus back to your element more. Wind will complement you well as a gunslinger, Especially at later stages. Then, you can go talk to Red about a mission. you're more than likely gonna be sent to destroy some skeletons. It's more of a test of competence than anything to be honest, basically to make sure ya know the pointy end of your sword from the hilt and all that good stuff. I've been wrong before though, so you might get a different mission altogether." Greed said, rattling off the styles he could think of that pertained to the gunslinger's preferences. He could benefit from Jiu jitsu too... but i'm not that familiar with that style. I should probably learn some of it, it's a useful countering style. Trainee Citizen Jace didn't have to think overly long about his decision, wing chun seemed to be the best suited for what he wanted, a quick few jabs, in and out, lather, rinse and repeat so to speak. Speed was already what he had so it seemed a speedy style was the logical choice. Jace was pleased to hear that the Diabolus Thought his element would compliment his class, he thought he had a pretty good recipe for success so far. "I'm thinking wing chun sounds pretty good to me. Thanks for all of the info and guidance by the way... Erm, you have a name?"
