___ ___ __ ___ ___ "Trust me, I don't pick fights I can't win." "...Hmm." Ephraim began to notice what sounded like conflict in the distance, along with shouts and screams from female voices. "Sounds like an invitation if I've ever heard one." Pulling his hand up to his lips, he whistled, and a moment later his white steed galloped to his side. He mounted it as it passed him, and the two were on their way to the scene in the same moment. The horse trotted to the scene as it began to reach its end. Ephraim gripped Siegmund, but just as he prepared to strike, the beast fell. "..." He made an amused sound. "Well fought." He called out to the red-haired girl. He still held his lance as the horse trotted steadily over towards them, though it didn't get too close. "Hmm? Does that mean you intend to kill me?" Ephraim asked, grinning a bit. He obviously knew she wasn't serious, and considering how disgusted she and her friend seemed about their current state, they probably wouldn't be fighting again anytime soon. Not that Ephraim was looking for a fight from them. "These things have thick skulls. I'm surprised you were able to put a sword through it. I figured a tiny girl like yourself wouldn't be that strong. No offense--it only makes it all the more impressive." Slipping off the horse now, which stood there behind him, he took another step closer, looking at the two with his typical regal composure, his head slightly cocked. "I don't see what you two are so ashamed of. Most people would probably have trouble with these sorts of monsters. You should be proud." Not him, of course, or either of them if they had been prepared, but plenty of people would. Ephraim didn't consider the thought that they were embarrassed because of their appearance being ruined by the encounter. "Do you two require assistance? This is not the party area, in case you didn't notice. Perhaps you need an escort there." Ever the gentleman, though it was also because he was incredibly bored and these weak monsters did nothing to help that."..." Severius did not return the hug, but neither did he stop her from embracing him. He didn't have any ill feelings towards his mother, or his father, despite how it sounded. But he wasn't the sort of person to hold another for no reason. "You sound as if you've had a child already." He said, though he obviously knew that wasn't the case. "Well, I am happy to hear your resolve. I see you're just as strong a girl now as you are a woman in the time I come from. Still not the smartest, but strong." He said. "To answer your question, I have a twin sister. But you can't know about her, or me yet. We won't be interlopers. You'll have to work on this project of yours alone for now." He said, and while they kept eye contact, his eyes suddenly turned a deep purple color, and Tina would find herself unable to break eye contact, and her eyes would turn the same color. "You understand? You will forget ever having met me." He said, his voice layered with hypnotic energy that dug into her mind. And just like that, Tina would completely forget the last few moments of her life, specifically the encounter with Sain and her new knowledge of Severius's existence. And once the eye contact was severed, her eyes and his would return to their natural color, and she would find herself blinded for five seconds. Which was easily long enough for Severius to get out of her line of vision. For now, he would likely go to another area of the Garden. Probably the library."..." Once Tina began to regain her vision, the darkness slowly giving way to light, she would see someone waving their hand in front of her face. "Hello? You're staring off into space. Is something the matter?" It was Soren, who seemed to notice something was off with her. "I don't particularly care, but if you wish to speak about it I'll listen." Too bad he didn't get to see Severius himself. His reaction would have been very interesting. (( OOC: ))

For a moment, it felt as if the world stopped. Or maybe her heart did? There was a voice that wasn't Morgan's. To make it worse, it was a man's voice. After a moment of brief panic, Severa turned the man as he approached the two on horseback. A little strange to see, but hey, whatever right? "....Yes.." She shot a cold glare to the kings direction, who was only being kind and showing some concern for the girls well being! Still, she was only joking, though sometimes it wasn't the easiest thing to tell when this girl was making a joke, or she was serious! "You speak of this to anyone, and I will! " Sheathing her sword, after wiping away the blood from the blade on the grass, Severa crossed her arms, her eyes never seeming to leave the armored man, and her cold glare didn't cease. "Heh, nothing could stand against my blade. " That was hardly true, it didn't pierce dragon scale well. "Don't you dare think something like this measly creature could really get the best of us. It only got us off-guard. There isn't exactly signs posted that say 'Giant Dinosaur on the lose'. Hell. If this ground wasn't so muddy we could have heard it's stealth sneak attack. If we were prepared for it, it wouldn't have gotten so much as a chance to move before we would have put it down! " Severa was very defensive of herself, she had far to much pride to look weak. Even though he clearly said he didn't want to offend her, that didn't seem to help her.
"I can't be proud of being so easily sneaked up on. Especially weak ones like these. It's size is clearly just to make it more terrifying then it really is, it has to have some way to make up for how pathetically weak it is. I could take that dinosaur down with my eyes closed!" Her pride, again.
Lowering her hands to her side, Severa shook her head, while reaching over to pick off another leaf from Morgan's head, grinning a little as she did. "We don't. I think we will be leaving, there's no way were going in there looking like this. What we need is a place to wash up and new clothes. I doubt they sell clothing here. So, we will head for Midgar City. " The next troubling task will be getting clothes that fit them while they're main gear got washed up and they found a place to get a shower.
"We should kidnap him and take him with us.." Morgan began to say, clasping her hands together with a smile that might send a little set of chills down any man's spine. Such a innocent, sweet girl, but with some seriously strange thoughts! "He might talk, we can't let that happen, right?!"
"No, I just see it when I look at other families with their babies. It's not hard to see how much they love their children if you pay attention. I think it's sweet.." Who knew Tina had such a soft side. As he continued on, she gave him a little hurt look. "Not the smartest? Oh, you are so Soren aren't you!" Then he said he did have a sister, a twin, but she was unable to answer, or react to it as she soon found herself unable to, and for a moment there she just kind of stared into the air in front of her as her memories of these last few moments were completely erased from her mind. Tina would suddenly come around only seconds later, but seemed confused. Why was she unable to see? Panic may of set in if it wasn't for her sight returning so quickly to see Soren waving a hand in front of her face. "...Whaaat..? " She blinked, rubbing her eyes. This was certainly a strange feeling. "...Um, I guess? I'm fine.." She gave him a little smile. "Soreeeen cares! " Tina latched her arms around his waist as she hugged him suddenly. No matter how much he denied caring, he must have, other wise he wouldn't have asked!

___ ___ __ ___ ___ "Trust me, I don't pick fights I can't win." "Oh, you have an attitude. I like you already." The young king said with a slight grin. This could be interpreted as flirting, but that wasn't exactly his intent. Though she was rather cute. "My lips are sealed, milady." He said, a slight sarcasm in his voice. "Excuses, excuses. Surely if you ventured this deep into this area you knew there were monsters. You have only yourself to blame for being ambushed." He was starting to enjoy this, as he knew it would probably irritate her considering her obviously contrary personality. "Yes, I agree it was rather disappointing. I was expecting a fight, but this isn't the first instance of that in this world. A short distance away from the city of Kalm, there's a similar creature. Very large and menacing, but with no actual strength. I defeated it in one strike." To think once upon a time Cloud was blown away when "Sephiroth" defeated one. "Is that so? Are you that concerned about your appearances? I think you both look fine." But then, he obviously didn't have a female mindset. Tana could vouch for that. "Are you sure you'll be able to make it safely? A weak monster like that did such a number on you, I feel like leaving two beautiful, young, helpless ladies alone would hardly be fitting of a king." Yes, he just called them helpless. He didn't mean it; he could see just from the look in their eyes that they were not to be trifled with, Severa especially had been through countless battles, and had seen things that might even challenge him. The future she came from was no laughing matter. Turning his gaze to Morgan now, he chuckled a bit. "Kidnap me? That's adorable." It kinda was for some reason. She was quite adorable, but also not someone to be taken lightly. Especially with her sadistic side. "I don't think you could use physical force to do that, so I don't see any way that could be accomplished." Of course, they were rather cute, so it probably wouldn't take much coercion, especially since he was probably going to accompany them regardless."Ugh," Soren grunted in annoyance, placing a hand against her face to try to push her away and off him. It looked rather funny. "Now I know never to ask again. I don't really care, like I said. Now let go or I'll kill you." As if he would do that. "I don't understand the roots of your affection. You realize when we met, the first thing we did was insult each other, yes? And that's most of what we did at first." It was true. That's basically all they did. It was a wonder how that all led to this. Tina becoming so devoted to him, and him uncertain how to feel about that. It was certainly an odd feeling. (( OOC: ))

"Ugh. You remind me of someone already." Who, oh who was that. "No, it's hardly a compliment. It means your annoying!" Poor Ephraim! Her narrowed eyes were about slits now, peering into his soul like they might shoot out death rays any second. "I'm glad you are so entertained! Hmph! Yes, we found out there were monsters here. No, we didn't know there were things like THAT here, so, we were only caught off guard, and the ones to blame is not us, but the lousy owners of this wretched building! " As he continued to speak, he might notice her crimson eyes had become less annoyed, and more interested at his words. "What creature would this be? I would like to see it myself. There isn't a thing in this planet that proves to be a challenge. I've asked around and all I got was something about a crater being the only area with monster worthy of battle, and some things called Weapons. Whatever that means. They made it sound as though they were living. Though they weren't sure they were still alive, I wouldn't mind finding them. " "Do you seriously find this attractive, walking in a party looking like this? Surly a proper, good looking guy isn't going to say it is.." She kind of struggled to say that small compliment, it felt..strange, but it was more so to prove a point. She didn't see him walking into a party if he looked like they did. "We look like we just came out of a grave. " She muttered, he couldn't see that? What a strange man! Severa paused, those crimson orbs narrowing back to their almost natural gaze to the king. "Listen, I don't care that you're some king. You won't get any special treatment from me. If I hear you think of us as weak again, i'm going to beat you up myself! We DON'T need an escort. Though, I'm starting to think maybe we should allow you to come. Then should we run into an enemy, I'll prove to you we aren't some weak helpless girls! I'm the best at what I do, don't you forget it! " It wasn't that she particularly wanted to be so mean, she just couldn't help herself sometimes. Severa took being thought of or called weak as a great insult.
"Mmhmm! I think I can, judging by you're heavy armor, you aren't good with magical attacks. " She grinned at him, not giving him anymore information on what she could do, or what she thought she could do! "Oh, right...! I'm Morgan...and miss grumpy here is Severa...She's easily angered, as you can see!" Turning now to Severa, she gave her friend a questioning look. "Well? What are we doing? Is he coming with us or not? "
"Gahh!" Her voice muffled out a bit as he placed his hand against her face and pushed her away. She did try not to let go, though her hands slipped, and he was released, and seconds later she took a few steps back so his hand would fall from her face! "...And next time you do that.....I'll bite your finger!....Tenderly." She added in a whisper. "Mmhmm? So? Is there a point to this? That just shows how much we've grown closer! You know, It's not uncommon for a pair of people to hate one another, or fight all the time, only to end up together happily.Such a thing does happen! "

Nero Utagawa Nero closed the locket as a small black sand horse appeared. "I see so you did not find him but you found someone that might know where" he asked and nodded as he got the answer. Looking at the paladin he check to see if she and her friend were occupied then quietly slipped back into the ball room to were their were a few people and stood in the shadows. "It must be hard seeing them enjoy themselves acting like they fit in here. I envy them and their friendships. Always laughing as they enjoy the singing and dancing it must be nice to not be judged based on being a newcomer or on appearance" he said opening the locket causing it to to play a tune. He closed his eyes and wiped a tear as he thought back to when he was a child looking after his brother. (Yeah just so you know the tune is familiar but that is just coincidence)

Meanwhile, between two of the balcony's window's, something very large was being set up. That was a Christmas tree. There were boxes of ornaments and tinsel, and another larger box of the many strands of lights that would be going on to massive tree. In other area's, garland was being put up, and other stands of lights to decorate the party area in what would soon be a beautiful Christmas theme. Then, those who were bringing the boxes in announced that if anyone at the party wanted to help, or do it their selves in decorating the tree, they would let them. That would be much more fun, after all. Hana was the first to rush over.
"Me! Me! I want to decorate the tree! " She sounded like a little kid suddenly, it was rather funny! As the teenage angel took the end of one of the overly loooong strands of lights, she glanced up at the tree which was nearly to the top of the ceiling. It was a wonder how they got that thing inside! Little did they know, she was perfect for the decorating job. Starting from the bottom up, it was only when she could no longer reach, that her angel wings would appear at her back. What may of taken an hour of placing the stand up around the entire tree, only took minutes as she flew around slowly, nicely setting the lights along as she went up.
After she had all of them placed, Hana landed back to the ground, only to grab white tinsel from the next box, and do the very same thing. After several more minutes, she came back down. "Okay! Now everyone else can help decorate...Come on! That means everyone! We should decorate like a big family..There's plenty here for an army, so....It will be fun!! "
It sure didn't take a lot of convincing for the girls to see Hana's meaning behind it, and just about everyone of them besides Tina who was currently busy talking with Soren, would start to head over to help decorate."Hey, guys..What do you think? " Hana asked the girls there, and anyone else who would join, as she flew up to the top of the tree. "Angel tree topping!" She giggled, kind of just flying in place there as if she were the tree topper.

___ ___ __ ___ ___ "Trust me, I don't pick fights I can't win." "Annoying, am I? I have been called far worse, I assure you." Ephraim said, not at all perturbed by the insult. "Are they to blame? It seems like it would have been easy to ask someone who lives here if there were giant monsters in this facility. But of course, you must be right. It has to be anyone's fault except yours." He said, though the tone in his voice wasn't sounding insulting. He was more intrigued by this girl and the fact that she was so easily angered. It was funny to him, and he found himself no longer bored now. "You too? I can''t for the life of me find anything that can actually put up a decent fight." He listened further to her words. "Yes, I've heard of the Northern Crater myself. I haven't had a chance to visit it yet, however. Apparently a calamity lives there and is one of the main aggressors of this world. Very hard to kill, from what I've heard. I intend to go there and solve that problem at some point." Though the Beast was a much bigger concern right now. "Weapons? I feel like I've heard that somewhere, but I can't say for sure." Maybe he heard Cloud talk about it once. "I find you attractive," Ephraim said with no hesitation. Here was his signature directness. "I don't care about your hair, or the mud on you, or the way your clothes are a bit off. It means you've been in a battle, and I respect that. If anything, your willingness to fight is only more attractive to me." He had no problems saying it how he saw it. That's why on several occasions women thought he was hitting on them. While he didn't object to the idea of having a woman in his life, he hadn't found any who had really grabbed his attention enough before. There was nothing particularly wrong with them, he simply hadn't spent time enough with any. "Oh? Was that directed at me? How cute. I wouldn't have expected a compliment from a contrary girl like you." "N-no! I was just saying in general! There's no way I'd compliment YOU!" Was what he expected to hear, or something similar considering how she acted so far. It was pretty charming, though, in its own way. He had never spoken to a girl like this before. Well, maybe one. Ephraim's features changed into a small, amused grin at her next words. "Beat me up yourself? I wouldn't mind fighting you, but perhaps another time. When you're more prepared. I wouldn't want to fight you in such a... weak state." He had to say it again. She did seem confident in herself though, which only made him want to see if she was as good as she thought. But now wasn't the time. "Should I consider that an invitation from her majesty? What an honor." He basically ignored the other things she said to make her even more irritated. Turning to Morgan now, he smiled a bit. "Not a bad guess. Resistance is perhaps my weakest point, but typically I take mages down before they can capitalize on that." If he hit most mages just once, that was the end since he was so strong and they typically had lower defense. Morgan was a special case, though, like her father. "The pleasure is mine, Morgan, Severa. I am Ephraim, king of Renais." He had been warned not to reveal he was a king in this world, but eh. He didn't really care. He obviously wasn't exactly afraid of anything. As Hana got over the tree, she would feel herself back into something. A person. Someone who was perfectly balanced on the tree. "I'mma borrow this." He said, putting his arms around Hana and the two suddenly vanished, reappearing at one of the balconies. They weren't alone, as there were a few students around. "...Go away." He told them. "Nah, man!" One of them said. "Because of this dumb party that's taking so long, there's nowhere else to go! You people are, like, everywhere. It's really annoying." "You're really annoying," Yugi retorted flatly, and suddenly a rather large undead creature with bone and flesh showing in several places rose from the ground. "Cuddles, I got you dinner." He said. The students decided it would be best to vacate the area. Quickly. While screaming. "Sorry about that, buddy." He said, patting the creature on the head. The undead creature let out a slight irritated grunt. Yugi pulled out an unnecessarily large bone, that looked like it could be used as a stage prop. Or a bench. He made smooch sounds to get Cuddles' attention, who shot up excitedly, panting happily as Yugi dangled the fleshy bone... below him. "Here you go, boy, fetch." He said, throwing it into the building. Right into the party area. That would make for an interesting scene. Cuddles followed the bone excitedly, its running causing the ground to shake slightly every time its feet hit the ground. Walking to the railing now, Yugi crossed his arms, leaning against it. "So anyway... 'Sup?" He awkwardly asked the angel. "Don't feel a need to apologize or anything. That'll just waste both our times. Is there anything you want to talk about?" (( OOC: ))

"I can't imagine why." Severa said blankly as she crossed her arms. "Are you testing how far you can push me before I do something about it?? " He would be blessed with her ever so rage-filled glare again."It isn't my fault. This place is full of weaklings, No one who hasn't been here would expect such a large creature to be wandering in a place like that!" Why did this guy irritate her so much? He was so sure of everything, so confident and even sarcastic. Who did he remind her of? ........Oh, yeah. Her. Well, that could explain why he was so irritating, this must of been how people felt around her! "Hmm, yeah. Well, the other problem about that crater is getting in. It can only be done by airship or this world's version of a horse, Chocobo's..Though it can only be a golden one, from what I understand. So, if we ever hope to test the creatures, or this calamity of theirs out, we'll need one of those. Anyway, we can have a sort of test of streghth when we find a way there, see how many we can kill before it comes out. If it does.." She meant the calamity known as Jenova.
Her hands lowered again to her side, and her expression turned confused as he suddenly began to ccompliment her. After her rudeness, he was saying nice things to her? "...." She could feel her cheeks become warm, which she tried to hide by turning the other way, though there was no really hiding the red of her face that nearly matched her own hair color. "...T-that's not nessesary...It's embarrassing..." She said quietly as she hoped her blushing face would return to normal. "I don't come close to losing in battle, nor do I become a wreck like this. It only means I wasn't as good as I am." She tried to say with confidence. "...." She fell silent a moment, he did take that compliment to seriously! "Don't think to much on that! ...I-It sounded nicer then I meant it!" Probably another lie, too, but she had to fix her mistake! She didn't do soft!
"Ugh. You really ARE annoying! I'm not weak! I could destroy you right now! But, I won't be so cruel today, what with a stupid party going on. You must have to look pretty for someone in there.Hmmmm? Wouldn't want to damage that perfect face of yours!" She didn't really seem to realize just how much that seemed to be more of a compliment again, rather then a complete insult.
"Hmm..Well, you haven't gotten lucky enough yet to be against me! " Morgan smiled cutely, she seemed to be beaming suddenly. It was no wonder Severa and her were hanging out together, they both were confident in their skills, and both wanted to find someone worthy to fight, just as Ephraim here wanted. "Some day soon, we'll play. I would like to up my training on close combat! " And Ephraim seemed to be a good choice for that. "King, huh? Nice to meet'cha! " For a King, he was so not well guarded! "Where are you're knights? Or are you that confident in you're skills that you don't need one? " She had to ask!
Hana must have been so into her silly joke of being the tree topper, she didn't even see nor sense Yugi's presence, so when he set his arms around her, she kind of jumped of fright a little which he would probably feel, since he was kind of holding her. Before she could get a word out though, they vanished from the tree, only to reappear at one of the many balcony's that wasn't so empty as he probably wanted it to be. Though with the help of his trusty dead friend, Cuddles, the kids were sent running for their lives. Even Hana was trying to not laugh, due to her slightly confused state. She wasn't expecting Yugi to ever try talking to her, considering how long it had been. But here he was....
Hana stood there, almost unsure how to even speak for these few awkward moments. "...But you know I am, and I think we have plenty of time, right? So, I am sorry! Very...very...very...Sorry! I know it doesn't really make everything better, but I want you to know that..with all my heart. " Pausing, she took a moment more to think on his question. There was a LOT she wanted to talk about, but that would probably take all night. "..Um....You? Are you okay? ....Do you..hate me? " She kind of threw that in there, it was a question she couldn't get out of her mind for all these many, many months..she had to know. "..Is there anything I can do to make all my stupid wrongs up to you? I want to fix this....I still love you." Maybe she was being to open? There was just so much she needed him to know, and she really did want to be with him again.

___ ___ __ ___ ___ "Trust me, I don't pick fights I can't win." "Perhaps. Not that I expect you to do anything about it in your weak state." He just had to keep using that word. "Or perhaps I just think you look cute when you're angry. Which seems to be all the time." That was almost certainly true. He decided to stop teasing her about letting her guard down, and move on. "Avalanche is in possession of many airships, from what I've heard." Airships. What a strange concept. How did they work? Ships on sea made sense, but ones that sailed across the air were so odd. "I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to acquire one. As for this competition, sounds fine to me. Just don't expect to win." He didn't know yet just HOW extremely competitive Severa was about everything. Of course, he noticed when the tsundere girl became suddenly more nervous. He grinned a bit, taking a small step toward her. "I only say what I think. And I think you look even cuter when you blush." She just made it so easy to tease. Glancing at Morgan, he addressed her for a moment. "I hope this isn't making you uncomfortable." Meaning, his flirting. At this point, even he would acknowledge it as flirting. He couldn't help himself. Her reactions were simply too good. As she tried to take back her compliment, he chuckled a bit. "Is that so? Please, then. How did you mean it? I would love to know." Clearly she wasn't exactly insulting him. "Perfect face?" Ephraim chuckled again. "I would hardly say that. It's quite dirty right now." It still had some dirt ground into it from when Miku stepped on it earlier. "I think you look much better. And if your comment was actually an inquiry, no, I'm not trying to look good for anyone." Which was his way of saying that he wasn't in a relationship. If she understood what he meant, and that she seemed to subtly inquire that, intentionally or not, she might become even more embarrassed. "I appreciate your interest on the subject, however." "Play, hmm?" Ephraim cocked his head slightly at Morgan. "I'll look forward to it. Maybe you'll provide at least something of a challenge." As she inquired about him being alone, he shook his head. "Perhaps if I remained in my world, Seth or Kyle would insist on trying to protect me, or that I not go out alone. But I am far more than capable of defending myself. In truth, at one time I didn't wish to become a king so I wouldn't have problems like that. I enjoy fighting, and it's worrisome that I won't get a chance to do so while I rule." He was thankful for the peace that he had won for his world, though. He still enjoyed fighting, though. Nothing showed the truth of a person like fighting did. "In any case, you were going to kidnap me and bring me with you, yes? I'll just pretend I'm no match for you so you can do so." He said jokingly, though knowing Morgan, in some situations her sadistic nature would take that quite seriously. "I have nothing better to do anyhow. Nothing to do at the gathering, and this area has only laughable monsters.""..." Yugi sighed. "STOP. I said not to. If you do that again, I'm going to leave." He really didn't want to hear her apologizing. "Don't ask stupid questions either." He said flatly, glancing away. "No." Obviously not. He had spent the better part of his life infatuated with her beyond belief. She had never returned those feelings until some time after they came to this time. "Why would you love me? What have I done to make you love me? I doubt that's true. You know, I used to write poems about you and how beautiful you were. How much I wish you would accept my feelings. And when you did, I didn't know what to do with myself. It's not like you did a whole lot wrong, there was just a lot of stuff happening at that time......." She went all dark and avoided him, his parents were close to having a falling out, his father spent more time with his assistant than his mother, and to top it all off, Leander, who had been one of his best friends since childhood, was murdered. In most situations, he would have implored for Hana to change her ways and done everything he could to help and support her, but he was in such emotional turmoil that he just distanced himself from everything. Family, friends, everyone. It wasn't until his recent interaction with his sister that he became closer to his normal self. "You can't understand how bad it got for me. I know everyone has problems, but that doesn't change the fact." And in a way, he supposed he blamed her for not being there for him when everything went wrong. He was alone, with nothing except his thoughts and his zombies. "I feel like if you actually loved me, you wouldn't have went all dark or whatever. Not that I'm trying to earn your love, or saying I deserve it or something. I just think you're confused, and trying to grasp at whatever you can. And I'm the easiest thing to grab at." He wasn't trying to insult her or make her feel bad, he was just saying what he felt. (( OOC: ))

"You know, just because you are some King, doesn't mean i'm going to treat you like one! You aren't in you're world, after all. So, you say that one more time and I will have you regret it! " Not really, but it was worth the threat. Normally, people believed her threats, Ephraim however was probably going to be a different story. He wasn't so stupid! Severa fell silent again at his repeated tease, though this time she didn't say anything to it. She couldn't think of a come back good enough to save her, so it was best not to say anything at all! As Avalanche and their airships came up, she kind of nodded slightly. Something to ask them about, she supposed. "Heh, I'll be saying that to you too. "
"I'll be the best challenge you will have seen in a while! " Morgan said. As she paused a moment to let him speak, she listened to all he had to say about his being the king, and fearing the loss of freedom in a way. "Then you should be happy you are here, huh? You can think of this new world as a much needed break from all that King stuff! " Even if he was away from somewhere he loved, maybe being here wasn't so bad after all. "Hmm..actually, I've had a change of heart." Turning to face them as she walked backwards, grinning. "Sorry, not to be rude but I'm going to go on ahead. I think you two could use the time together..Bye-bye!" And, just like that. Morgan turned away from them now and hurried on off, leaving the two to flirt to their heart content. It wasn't that it made her uncomfortable at all, she just thought it was cute, and wanted to see how the two would get along the next time she saw them.
"What do you think....H-HEY!? " Severa called out to Morgan, but she left pretty darn fast, completely ignoring her as she left the two alone."Ugh. Idiot. I wasn't planning on flirting! " Muttering something under her breath, Severa gave Ephraim a awkward look. "I really mean it! She's mistaken! Though, I don't see how that is true.." She had to add in, how he could still be single was beyond a mystery to her.." Not that i'm interested at all!!" This was going badly, wasn't it? She was pretty bad at flirting and denying things, too, so that didn't help her case. "Whatever.....There's nothing more to do here. Let's go? " It took several seconds for her to realize something. In the beginning, she didn't even want him coming with them! Now, Morgan was gone and trying to play match maker, and she was left with Ephraim. "Wait, why are you following again? Clearly I don't need you to watch me buy clothes. Unless you like that sort of thing..hmmmm?" Clothes shopping with a girl probably wasn't his thing!
Hana flinched a little in surprise at his sudden but brief yell. After a moment, she sighed softly, falling silent for several moments as she let him speak. She wouldn't say a word until he was fully finished, despite a lot of what he was saying made her want to cut him off to deny his words. For now,she would have to bite her tongue to keep from saying anything, giving him his time to get everything out before she would continue. "..You loved me, isn't that enough? I only regret that it took me so long to realize you're feelings back then.." She said. "Do people not make mistakes? Sometimes mistakes can be good, even though they were terrible at one point, they can make for something good in the end....Like, seeing those mistakes, and realizing just how much someone meant to you when they are suddenly gone...It can make the love between two people who thought they lost each other stronger......" Or, it could make it worse.. Hana didn't want to think that way though. She realized her mistakes, and although they weren't THAT bad, they were pretty bad still. Falling into darkness wasn't exactly a good thing. Though it wasn't ALL her fault, there was something messing with her after all. A very dark, sinister presence she had only recently discovered was one of the stronger Reapers. "...You loved me, for all that time and never gave up..That's only one of the many endless things I love about you. I love your smile, I love the happiness you bring to everyone around you..." At least, when he was happier then he was right now..." I know I was weak, and that's something I will live with in regret for the rest of my life, because it hurt you..." And made him doubt their relationship. "It may be late, but...Will you tell me what happened? I understand if you don't want to talk about it now, but, later, anytime, I want to be there for you and listen to anything you have to say, be it problems...anything! Just..talk to me. " His last words stung, as they weren't at all true.. "...You've got that all wrong,Yugi.." She sighed." I am not confused...and I am not using you. You..really think I would do something like that? I would never use you! I don't want to be with anyone else! You're the only one I could ever want to be with. You're the only one that makes me feel whole...complete...and happy!! It's been a nightmare all these months for me too! I missed you more then anything that I couldn't stand it! Honestly. I didn't want to be around anyone..I kept to myself, I hurt you..and I didn't deserve to be happy.." And that was how she felt.. "It wasn't easy defeating the Reaper's influence..This one was particularly strong..and i'm not saying it's not my fault, it is, I should have been able to fight it off..But this wasn't so easy.." So, it was both the fault of the reaper and herself. She just wanted him to see that it wasn't ALL her.

"You know what would look even better? " Yuffie, who had come back moments earlier said. "A tree full of materia! I can see it's radiant glow of many powerful, wonderful colors. My Materia tree would beat that weak defenseless tree! " Yuffie grinned, she really wanted to try this idea! As images processed into her crazed mind, the young ninja seemed to be in a sort of day dream. "A tree of nothing but those shiny colorful orbs of intense magics! It ....It will be done!!" She began to eye her friends, only those she knew had materia in this room were Aerith, Cloud, Zack, had he been there, and her wonderful futuristic children. Though there were a few who had bought materia she didn't expect, like Sylvanas and Emma. Who knew how many of those from the other worlds may of also bought some to learn? "You guys....!! Should give me you're materia!" She was mainly talking to Aerith Zack and Cloud for the moment...
Aerith slipped herself behind the nearest person, mostly anyone who looked strong enough to fend off her evil ninja friend! She noticed Yuffie was looking at her suddenly, it was as though she deemed her the weakest link, and easiest to steal from. "You should ask nicely! " Yuffie began to walk toward her, causing Aerith to panic a little. That look in her eyes was a crazed, obsessed one she knew quite well! Her obsession had returned for the doom of them all! It all looked quite funny, Aerith was trying to not turn her back on the ninja, so she had to walk a little awkwardly in a hurried pace where she could hide behind Zack, unfortunately though, he too was a target of the materia thief!

Aerith would soon realize that even Zack couldn't keep her materia safe, due to the ninja still approaching as if he was of no threat. So Aerith was forced to move from him, to behind the next closest person, this time that person was Terra! It would be so easy to stop Yuffie's steps, but obviously she wasn't about to cast a spell on her when she was clearly only playing. Then there was her not wanting to be the one who killed the fun, by being to serious about it. So, joining in on this once in a life-time event, was probably the best choice.
Spreading her arms wide, as if she were trying to shield Aerith from Yuffie, a rather embarrassed Terra tried to get the words out she was having such a hard time thinking of. "You will have to get through me first!" This felt strange...!
But then! Terra's arm was grabbed, and pulled aside easily, and before she could react or even say anything, someone was holding her hostage from behind.."I've got her! Now's your chance! " Kiana called to her mother, snickering as she held Terra's arms steady from behind. That was sadly to easy!
With Terra out of the way by the help of her daughter, Yuffie was quick to grab a hold of Aerith next, and in the blink of an eye, she had several materia in her clutches, all of which Aerith had on her at the time! "Shiny Christmas tree...Will be mine!!!"

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" "..." Cloud shook his head. "Honestly, Yuffie, can't you...?!" His eyes widened, grabbing the Ultima Weapon on his back, and stepping toward the ninja. "DUCK!" He shouted, slashing the large blade right at her. He knew her reflexes would let her dodge the attack, and his blade would collide with another where Yuffie had been a moment before. That blade was the Masamune. "I didn't receive an invitation..." Sephiroth's cold voice sounded, grinning. "Good to see you... Clo-" "Shut up!" The mercenary shoved Sephiroth several feet back, stepping forward and striking his fighting stance. "..." He glared at the One-Winged Angel. "Oh...." Sephiroth cocked his head, seeming intrigued. "That look in your eye... have you finally overcome your doubt?" "...No," Cloud said. "That won't happen immediately... but I'm not gonna let doubt hinder me anymore. From now on, I'm going to move forward, accepting the choices I've made along the way." "How disappointing." Sephiroth rose his long blade, pointing it towards Cloud. "But you're still hiding--all of you are. Hiding from the Beast. Everyone gathered here is afraid to discuss it... because you know you cannot overcome it. You are not a team, just a gathering of individuals. No matter how many people are around you, you are alone, Cloud. You know that as well as I do. You don't belong. ...anywhere. Your existence is a sin. Your life only exists because of the deaths of greater people. And you claim to deserve your pitiful existence?" "Shut up" Cloud grunted. "You live in the past, because the light of the present blinds you. You cling to your memories, because you are weak. Your words are as hollow as your soul... Cloud." "Tch..." "Give the guy some credit," Zack said, stepping forward, the Buster Sword leaning against his shoulder as he held it. "Sure, he never made SOLDIER, but he's accomplished a lot. Much more than you. All you've done is turn on everyone who ever cared about you. I was proud to call him my living legacy once upon a time--he's upheld his pride and honor more times than I can count. He wavers sometimes, but who doesn't?" "Zack..." "Zack... the one who should have been the hero of our little story." Sephiroth said. "But because of you, Cloud, he died with nothing to his name except a sword that didn't even belong to him. " "I had a lot more than that, I assure you," Zack said, referring to Aerith. "Yes... and even that returned to the Lifestream because of the inaction of Cloud. The only two people who really cared about you... dead, because of your existence, Cloud." "Enough!" Cloud shouted. "I never said I was perfect. But I'm not gonna let the past stop me anymore. I'm going to live for the present, and the future--one with someone I love and a family I can call my own." "And you believe she will fare any different? She will end up the same as the others in your life... Dead. Along with the family you pretend to treasure. After all..." His eyes cut over to Terra. "She's responsible for even more deaths than you are..." He said, his words slow and layered with malice. "She is like you... a puppet. Nothing but a machine used for killing. What a fitting match. But she cannot escape her master.... And he'll make her a puppet, bent on destroying everything again.... And then-" Cloud apparently had enough of talking, since he charged forward, slashing the Ultima Weapon, which was blocked by the Masamune. "Oh.... struck a nerve?" His grin widened, as he shoved Cloud back, going on the offensive now. (( OoC: ))

Yuffie barely knew what she was doing, or why she was doing it, she just knew by experience, if Cloud or anyone for that matter said to duck, she probably didn't want to ignore them. As she sprung to the side, still crouched to the ground she would hear the clang of steel as the two blades made contact with one another. She recognized that particular sound, the way the long katana rang out upon being struck, there was only one person that could be.
Yuffie turned to the two as she stood, her hand reaching to grab one edge of the Conformer at her back. Yeap. Try to have fun and there he was, and just when it actually WAS getting fun!
Meanwhile, the materia she had previously in her hand were scattered on the ground, rolling around the floor as she had dropped them upon her having to dodge a certain death. "Ugh..Did you seriously just show up here to talk and yammer? Dumb a**! Cloud's grown up, you know, unlike you. He's not a weak minded man anymore, though I can say for sure who in this room IS.." Clearly, she was talking about him. Years ago, Yuffie would never do something like this. Sephiroth was probably the only one she did have a bit of fear for then. Though now, he was just a lost, broken soul that couldn't be fixed. "You're attempts to get into his head aren't going to work anymore. You might as well give up, unless the mama's boy wants a beating again? I could kick you're lousy a** out of Balamb myself! " She certainly wasn't afraid of using such language, it wasn't like she hadn't before after all. Sephiroth had really ticked her off this time.
It was when Cloud and Sephiroth began their attempt of a fight, and the only real opening chance she got, that Terra joined in, only she would get a safe distance from behind Sephiroth. While Cloud was fighting him face-to-face, Terra could throw in a few surprises to the silver-haired warrior herself should she find the right time to do so. "You speak as though you are completely innocent. Is it not true that you were the first to become a 'puppet'? Was it not you who followed the wishes and orders or a being you believed so strongly was you're mother? You let her control you, you let her destroy you! It is you who is still the puppet! You've chosen this path because of you're past, you will never move forward with you're life, and you will never become strong like Cloud! So long as you harbor this darkness, you could never dream of matching him. "
