Squall looked back out the window and sighed. He was wondering when Rinoa would come back. He was getting bored sitting around here doing nothing all the time and taking naps! It was definitely not his thing... As it would make him think too much. And he did not like thinking for too long. It gave him the jitters. Suddenly, a loud 'zzt!' noise came from behind him as he saw Rinoa come in. His poise was one of annoyance and put his hand by the hip, his face looking towards Rinoa.

"Finally... You're here. What took you so long?" Squall asked as he searched into her eyes for an answer.

"I think we should check the crater first, as its close to the lifestream. Then we can set up a base of sorts in Midgar."

She looked to the horizon where the sun's first rays were just starting to make themselves known. She ran her options over in her mind for a moment then started to where she knew there were boats.

"We can use the chaos that was caused by the summon to steal a small boat. This way."

Tamudjin inspected the staff with curiousity looking at the different colored materia. Looking back at the one in her hand."This one has a dark aura in'm... It's name is Bahamut." tamudjin touched the materia to her forearm to see what would happen, the second it did the materia went into her skin leaving black tendrils of smoke around the spot. Tam hissed from the pain as the summon bonded itself to her.

Elena was busy trying to clean up all the broken pieces of glass and throwing them into the garbage near by that she had brought with her as she cleaned up. She didn't want Kaia to hurt herself, or Nanaki to cut his paws if he came in, where ever he was.

As she had cleaned, she kept glancing back at Kaia, afraid someone would come and take the poor child too.

Then, Sephiroth suddenly appeared in the house. She immediately stood straight, throwing another piece into the can.. "Sephiroth...Yuffie seems to be alright...She had a sleepel spell cast on her..I dispelled it, but I think all the trauma really got to her.."

Kaether scooped Sephirea up and started off at a quick pace, toward the docks. The old man that was there, quickly scurried off at the sight of Kaether and Kadaj, leaving the group to choose a boat easily. Kaether set Sephirea on the deck of a fishing boat, big enough for the ocean, but small enough to be crewed by Kaether alone. By the time the sun had finally made its appearance, the three would be gone, and on their way to the Northern Continent.



Sephiroth looked over to Elena, seeming to notice her for the first time. 'Why is it, that my choices of who the trust have become slimmer and slimmer?" He gently picked up Kaia, and placed her in the Turk's arms,"Please, don't fail me." Even though his daughter protested, Sephiroth left in search of Sephirea.

Kaia was too weak to fight or follow, so she cried. Even though she could use her pistols like many trained soldiers, in that moment, she only seemed like a small, scared, child.

Kaia slowly fell asleep, sniffling, even though Asgard had already healed up all her injuries. She was tired, and drained, and the loss of blood was finally taking its toll on her. She fell asleep after a few moments, snuggled against Elena, as the sun started to shine in the broken window.

About the time that Kaia fell asleep, Yuffie stirred, forcing her exhausted body to sit up. Kadaj and Kaether were gone, the house was wrecked, and she had a headache that could drop a behemoth. "I think I'm gonna be sick..."

Squall took one glance at her eyes and instantly knew she was lying. He smirked and said, 'Oh really? Why are your clothes all wet?', while his fingers were pointing at the damp duster that was creating a dripping noise each time she walked. He crossed his arms and made a wry face. "You know, it's okay if you want to keep me safe, but you don't need to go off running and keeping secrets from me..." Squall said as he gazed into her light brown eyes, hoping she would tell her the truth. He smiled slightly inside though, that she cared enough to keep him safe but he did not like keeping secrets. That troubled his mind well enough to make him think otherwise...
