I -think- I'm going to be able to get stuff for school this weekend (crossing fingers for new laptop!!)
Now, instead of being anxious about this whole ordeal going to work...I'm just anxious.
I remember the night before my first day of middle school...I got so nervous, I vomited. I made it to the toilet first, but still! I'd like to think I have a -little- more self control now, but we'll see.

That's the sort of thing my mom would tell me, ahaha.
I was just thinking about what clothes I'll end up packing. See, the climate there is very hot in summer and very cold in winter. Cold I can deal with, I spent 10 years of my life in Alaska. Hot, not so much...but I digress. Anyways, the first two or so months I'm going to be there are going to be HOT...then around November it'll start snowing.
So, that's what I have to plan for when packing clothes. If I can come back to my folks house before the weather turns, I won't have to worry too much about balancing my seasonal-wear (my sisters birthday is in October, so that's pretty good timing.)
I don't have all that much room in terms of clothes storage, judging by what I saw of the dorms during orientation. This'll be interesting to figure out...clothes tetris ugh.

It's hard picking the right clothes for the right season, because sometimes, it may be hot or cold during what is meant to be opposite. So my advice would be to pack half a bag of Clothes to keep you warm, and the other half of clothes to keep you cool. That way you've got both. No matter what.
On a side track. Would you happen to know how to put music from photobucket into the profile? I know how to do youtube, but not photobucket. gonk

That...that just sucks.
Nothing like the death (or even potential death) of a close friend/family member to put things in perspective. Hope you and those close to the deceased can get through this as best you can.
On a less grim note, I received a message back about that possible internship I mentioned before. It's a no-go. I'll ask again next semester, so there's hope. Plus, this could leave me some time to apply for Modship (once I get my new laptop.)
Over the next week I have to get off my a** and get my stuff together to take with me. I'm hoping to get one more hike in before I have to go to school; I'm going to miss the forests around here.

I don't know if I'd invest in a website that doesn't have a 'tangible' product. (ie Facebook or...here.) All the money they make is based on donations or buying pixels.
