Tigerfang padded as softly as she could towards the Stormclan border with her abnormally big paws. "These claws were made for fighting. Not for hunting. Leave the hunting for the scrawny, weak cats who can't do anything else useful," she thought irritatedly. She didn't know why she had such big paws. She was a she-cat, not a tom. She was supposed to be light and dainty. Instead, she got stuck with an unflattering, muscular body. She flicked her ears in shame at her appearance, but pushed the thought away. She didn't care.
She looked back at Eaglesoar, who was respectfully walking a few paces behind her. "Good. At least he knows his manners,"

"Hey, wait up!" Watercloud yowled indignantly after Eaglesoar.
[He caught up to them and slowed down until he was right beside Eaglesoar.
H turned his head slightly to him but not actually facing him and whispered..]
"Geez, what is up with you? You're more arrogant now than ever. What are you trying to prove? That you're better than me? I think you've 'established' that by publicly embarrassing me like everyday of life? What the real problem hmm? It's not that I'm half-clan. We've been through this too many times, it's not just that. Do I threaten you? Is that it? Do you feel threated by 'half-clan-scum'?" Watercloud mewed seriously.
[He didn't want Tigerfang to get caught between a rivalry much older than she was, that just wouldn't be fair.
He glanced with narrowed-eyes at Eaglesoar.]

I hope she's good at hunting, because I certainly am not. Why, Blackstar himself was a legendary fighter, not a hunter, or so the elders said in kit's stories. Why should I be any different, since I'm his direct descendent?]
[Eaglesoar thought with a small disappointed twitch of his whiskers. When Watercloud yowled indignantly after him, Eaglesoar twitched his ear in annoyance at his least favourite cat in Nightclan, and could only just supress his urge to yowl back at Watercloud.]
"Number one, I don't like half-clan scum who think they're better than real clan cats. Number two, we're nearing the Stormclan border, so shut it, will you?"
[Eaglesoar hissed angrily at Watercloud, narrowing his green eyes him before rudely pushing him out of the way, thrusting his massive shoulders between Watercloud and Tigerfang so that he was walking in front of Watercloud, but just behind Tigerfang. He flicked his tail in annoyance as he walked in front of the gray tom, feeling annoyed at him joining the hunt.]
Great, now I'll look like a lousy hunter beside Watercloud. Just wonderful.
((Sumomo: Sure!! ^.^ Hmm...just thought of a new idea, would it ok with you if Eaglesoar = awesome fighter, lousy hunter, while Watercloud = lousy fighter, awesome hunter?
Smokestar: I'm going to say that Eaglesoar's bigger than Tigerfang, because he's a massive tom himself. Since toms are usually bigger than she-cats, I'm guessing massive tom would be bigger than massive she-cat?)) --------------------------------------------------x x x "xxsoaring through the sky

((iZann: Well, she's not massive, she's just bigger than normal she-cats. The only part of her that's massive are her paws. Like an evil ancestor of hers...that she doesn't know about... >.>

When Tigerfang heard Watercloud and Eaglesoar bickering behind her, she whipped her whole body around in annoyance and hissed, "What are you, a pair of ignorant kits? We're nearing the Stormclan border and you are both acting like you've never been out of camp before! Now hush!" She was probably overreacting, but what was their problem? Since when was she such a popular cat? No one ever wanted to be her friend before. Why now?
She turned away from them with an annoyed flick of her tail. Soon enough, the smell of the Stromclan border markers filled her senses.

[At the sound of Tigerfang's annoyed hiss, Eaglesoar flicked his ears backwards, pressing them against his skull in shame and annoyance at himself.]
Great, first hunting trip as a warrior, I'm told off by a senior warrior and accompanied by the half clan scum of Nightclan. Wonderful.
[Eaglesoar thought as he flicked his tail in irritation, but stayed silent as he was wise enough not to argue with the moody senior warrior.]
"Sorry."
[He meowed in a whisper, and made a mental note to stay silent for the rest of the hunting trip. Soon enough, the smell of Stormclan got stronger until it almost drowned out any other scents of prey. The smell of Nightclan mingled with it, though it was rather faint for his liking.]
Guess we're here to remark borders as well...

 [Fathom padded back into camp, the rest of the patrol following. He ruffled his pelt, looking around for Leopardstorm, his...beloved. The thought of the word made his stomach drop, and he felt lightheaded.
He padded to a patch of sun and sat on his haunches, grooming his chest and searching with his crimson eyes for her.]

She padded out of the warriors' den, looking about for the bouncy little apprentice she called her own. Leopardstorm stopped in front of the Shadowstone, peering into the apprentices' den but didn't spot her. Mousedung! Where could that hyper cat have gone?!
