'You performed well." Yamatano said, his eyes - or eye, as far as anyone knew, since his right eye was constantly covered by his curious horned headband - closed in reflection. "But remember, nothing will ever go as you plan it to. Sometimes, you expect breeze through a mission, then go get a bowl of ramen with your buds. Sometimes, you're the only one who can order." Yamatano said, speaking in slight riddles. He still couldn't tell if Damien hadn't noticed two of his teammates, Hana and Ginshiro, had not come back, though he would probably recognize the two umbrellas strapped to Yamatano's back in an X which had, until recently, belonged to Ginshiro.

Speed: (Move, dodge, and attack speed is one rank higher, hard for anyone below Jounnin to even track these ninja) Damien nodded, showing that he understood the morbid riddle. He folded his arms and looked up, trying to sound nonchalant about his first battle experience. "Everything was so fast." He said softly. "The zombies kept coming. It was problem after problem. I almost..." He paused when he recounted a zombie jumping on top of him when he'd fallen to the ground. "The Mizukage said a lot of people..." He paused as he looked down and finally saw the umbrellas. They were familiar. One of those half-cocked little kids. He thought, remember the wielder of the umbrellas running into the fray with gusto. Damn. He didn't even grow old enough to learn from his mistakes. He looked at Yamatano solemnly and swallowed spit. He nodded and remained silent; reflecting on the words of the chunnin. (())

Uchiha Bloodline| Mist ANBU Captain| Jonin Commander|Bloody Mist  LT nodded to his Mizukages will, in the meantime he eyed his next two students. The one who stepped out of the office known as Damien, seemed to be the more respectable of the two. But also he was older so perhaps easier. LT vaguely remembered that the man was the known demon as Sanbi. While the boy who stayed in the room was more of a loud mouth who needed to be taught respect. That was no problem to learn respect... or fear, it made little difference to LT, Kai, Yama, and Kan all seemed to learn it well enough. LT kind of admired the boy, he reminded Tares of one of his closest friends and one of the most powerful shinobi in the world second to Luo, Zane Hajime. LT sighed as he rose from his chair and started a pot of his world famous coffee, after he finished his brew he powered it into his travel mug. "I will meet you at the academy tomorrow." he said to his new student. He then turned and bowed to the Mizukage, "Mizukagesama, if you have nothing more for me, then i will take my leave in order to.... prepare my curriculum." he smiled widely under his kakashi like mask. LT then turned and headed out the door, as he exited the office though he met with the academy student and Yama. "Hakate, you did well today. Im proud of you." Tares smiled as he gave his student a solid pat on the back. He nodded to Damien before he turned and headed out of the building. Exit

Masaki nodded, and then left the room, forgetting to dismiss himself or thank the kage. Manners had a habit of being lost on the boy, though he did indeed hold respect for the kage. As he passed another ninja he heard him say to meet him at the academy. That was probably the character the kage was referring to, so Masaki would do the same. Now, however, it was time to sleep.

Tossing him the debriefing notes he had in order for Yama to read through them and catch up without Luo repeating himself he muttered, "Any questions for me?"
As Masaki left, Luo ignored the absence of a dismissal or even thanks. The boy was a bit difficult, but nothing Tares couldn't handle. Looking over at his ANBU captain he muttered, "You are free to go. Thank you for your help."

It was actually more of his issue than anyone's and he was not the type of person to dump his responsibilities on someone else. He was going to find out who and what the Sanbi was on his own. So instead he walked away, looking for a place to rest and recuperate. {exit to apartments} (())

Whether it was influence from his Great Grandfather, or his own sheer, abstract laziness, Yamatano couldn't tell. Taking the umbrellas and laying them on the Mizukage's desk, Yamatano began to speak. "In the fight, we lost two students, Ginshiro and Hana. These umbrellas belonged to Ginshiro, and they have quite a few modifications made in them. I disposed of the bodies at the hospital. But may I ask.....Why did the Shinobi of Konoha arrive? I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth, of course, but did you summon them?" Yamatano asked, honestly a bit worried about Zin Naga being there if the Mizukage had not directly summoned him. Sure, Zin was an excellent shinobi by anyone's standards, but there was just something about him that made Yamatano......uneasy.

That of course being when he injected one of the infected with a syringe and extracted the virus for what I would assume is either DNA analysis, or for causing a future outbreak. Luckily for us we have a cure for this, however I fear Konoha may be out of luck in that department. I'll have to speak to the Hokage about this soon."

"This village is going to take sooooo long to get used to!" the young boy complained the entire time while he was walking directly behind one of his guard. As hard as he tried to do some sightseeing on the way to the tower, he couldn't see a thing. How do people live like this? Then again...people would say the same thing in regards to the heat of Sunagakure. Entering the tower, the boy was not surprise to see dozens of people running around frantically all throughout the tower. Some had dozens of stacks of papers, while others were simply trying to get their work done fast and efficiently. Approaching the front desk, his guard exchanged words while the boy, with curious eyes, tried to take in everything he could. He was supposed to be meeting with the Mizukage, Luo Ushio, a man the boy knew fairly well despite the few times he's seen him in his life. At the same time, he wondered where exactly was his mother. The entire reason why he was here was to live with her.
Even if she was standing in front of him however, he wouldn't be able to recognize her. He hasn't seen his mother for five years, when he was only three years of age. The guard began moving up the steps, the boy following closely behind. Upon reaching the top of the tower, they reached a rather majestic door which he assumed was the door to the Mizukage's office. One of the guards knocked on the door lightly as they awaited to be let inside. It would be rather rude to just waltz on inside, but he doubted Luo would mind if it was him. However, his guard woudln't allow it, they wouldn't allow anything they deemed fun. Like his harmless pranks, oh how he missed his pranks. Constantly being watched, it was rather hard to pull something fun so hopefully when they were gone and he was a ninja he could get back to his rather fun hobby.

It was good to know that the Mizukage already had his eye on any potential threats.
Just as Yamatano was about to say something else, somebody knocked on the door. Seeing as he had purposefully waited for everybody to leave before he came in, Yamatano was quite surprised that anyone would be there. He walked over to the door, ready to open it for the guests, but not doing so until he knew Luo would allow more visitors.

To anyone reading this, please do not imitate this, as it is generally frowned upon) xxxxAs Yamatano received a nod from the Mizukage, his signal of temporary dismissal and signal to allow the newcomer in, he pulled the door open, revealing to him a most curious sight. Standing before him was a large, dark skinned man (I'm assuming that lots of time in the sun will make your skin darker than the average Kirigakure citizen) and a small child, the latter looking around as if he was.......looking for someone? It was almost as if the child was looking to tell the Mizukage something specific. "No, that cant be." Yamatano thought to himself. "This kid can't be older than ten! What is he, the son of some Daimyo? Oh crap, if it is, I ought to be respectful." Bringing his hand to his masked mouth to clear his throat a bit, Yamatano said to them, "Lord Mizukage-Dono will see you now," and held the door open as the two walked in. Sure, he showed respect, but he still made sure that he made Lord Mizukage sound more important. For truly, who in all the world was more important than the Leader of the Village Hidden in the Mist? Without another word, Yamatano left the three to themselves, deciding to check up on the surviving students.

(Lol, I'll make sure never to double post then ninja Also, I think it's a valid statement that people from the Sand village all have tans blaugh )
Kenji was suddenly surprised to see the door open so suddenly as a masked shinobi greeted him. The two guards next to him bowed humbly before him, so Kenji followed suit as to not be disrespectful. He wanted to make a good impression in Kiri if he was going to make this is his new permanent home. The shinobi walked past him and headed out, so Kenji took this oppurtinity to head on inside. Once inside, one of his guard closed the door behind him and Kenji now stood in front of the Mizukage's desk. Bowing deeply to the Lord Mizukage, Kenji looked up and smiled. "It's been a while Lord Mizukage, it's very good to see you," he stated. He didn't know wether he should act formal or informal towards his Godfather, but he figured he might as well keep things formal since he was about to ask if he could become a shinobi of Mist and enter the academy.

Watching Yamatano take his leave for the night, Luo's eyes fell upon a rather tan individual who looked like any normal bodyguard hired to protect the wealthy, except for the desert climate style flack jacket and ANBU katana on his back, as well as the Suna headband on his right arm. As he walked in, he seemed to motion for someone behind him to enter the room as well, although it wasn't the other guard that came in a few feet behind him, but a smaller individual between the pair.
Shutting the door behind him, Luo saw who it was behind the athletically built man. It was his godson: Kenji Hajime-Nara. Standing from his seated position, Luo rounded his desk to stand in front of it as the boy's bodyguard's stepped to the side of the room, crossing their arms over their chests in order to wait patiently. The boy resembled Zane greatly when he was younger, down to the hair color. Staring at him for a moment, Luo remembered the last time he saw himm being on a visit to Suna while Zane was still training there in order to see how much his 'brother' had progressed in his training.
Luo's youthful gaze aimed directly into the boy's eyes, he remained silent with his hands clasped together in front of him just under his stomach in front of his crotch. He waited patiently for the boy to address himself, his face remaining straight and his demeanor calm and collected still Granted Luo figured the boy wouldn't be as calm as he was, given his father's nature. Even in Zane's absence however, Luo had gone to great lengths to ensure the boy's safety until he was ready to become a shinobi. It was why they boy had bodyguards in the first place and in fact, Luo hand picked everyone of them including the one in the room at that moment. Although it was indeed the last mission given by the previous Kazekage Zane Hajime for them to take, Zane had forgotten to pay them; something Luo made sure even in his absence his forgetful friend and brother took care of.
Zane being who he was, never really bothered to remember to transfer the money the money he got from missions he was sent on in Kiri from his general shinobi fun, to his personal account. And since it was his general shinobi fund, the money remained in Kiri. And as Luo became the Mizukage, he gained access to all the general shinobi funds of each ninja in order to deposit money into each account for completed missions. The money Zane left however, was used to pay for the boy's housing, education, safety, and education in Suna. In essence, Zane was still fathering him even from the shadows.
It also didn't hurt that Luo had given the guards special instructions about the boy and his pranks...well the inevitable ones Luo knew would come with his personality. Afterall, like father like son.
