Hedoro had thought her surprise attack might have had a chance at success. It seemed Crius' ocular abilities were developed enough to spot her far sooner than expected, though, to the extent that he was ready and waiting for her attack. Troublesome. She sensed his arms come up, and felt a now familiar sensation that attempted to actually push her away from him. Attempted, because it didn't work. Crius had been using his gravity manipulation skills a lot in this battle. Too much. By now, she had developed a rather complete immunity to that skill. He would have to rely on something else if he wanted to continue this clash. She felt the Silica Gel all around her, it felt like she was being assailed by a thick cloud of stinging, biting gnats. A moment later, the stinging stopped as she seemed to fill out the gaps, to regenerate the lost mass she had endured from the Gel so far.

Counting on the surprise of his gravity push not working, Hedoro's attack continued directly for him, her own liquid attack meeting his needle haze at point blank range, gobs of her attack's material spraying in all directions, but still managing to block the majority of the needle blades. The much smaller amount that continued on to her took almost no effort to ingest, the volley of needle-thin blades sinking into her substance, to be digested. She would have liked to continue the exchange, but she began to drop back toward the ground, the real ground. Not the massed Gel that was gathered high above. A dangerous position, but she didn't plan on staying where she was for long.

Hedoro has gained immunity to Crius' gravity, thanks to her already posted made-up Immortal Homeostasis. After two exposures [the sphere and the ceiling] she gained immunity for the remainder of the battle.)

Crius' very presence did not waver as her attack came through, it was a small thought to think certain attacks would consider to affect his opponent in such a manner. Of course he was prepared for the outcome that would consider the opponent's attack to continue through his defense, as that possibility came to life, so did his following plan. Her strike engulfing most of his needle haze, collapsing directly onto him in a moment's notice. Of course it would be met with something a little different then what Hedoro should have been expecting from the beginning. The Twisted Persona ability would be activating itself once again, immediately creating a layer of sand around him in order to protect him from the attack. The sand immediately forming a complete barrier around his body, protecting him from the attack and even seeming to form almost immediately after his original defense, a half orb of Silica Gel having been formed around his body in order to keep him safe from her incoming attack. The entire area would begin dropping immediately, all the Silica Gel that had clumped together around them would begin falling almost seconds after Hedoro had undergone her own defensive attempt, her falling would be nothing more then a rash attempt to escape his massive assault just a small distance behind her, catching the gravity of the earth itself in order to stay on her tail, and actually crash around her when she managed to hit the ground. Of course he wasn't going to continue on his own terms with a straight out attack, instead he would chuckle. Each and every needle would shine immediately with an alchemic light as they were being swallowed by Hedoro's substance. Each and every needle like blade would be almost immediately converted to Amylose, dispelling itself inside of Hedoro as nothing more then a fine powder like substance, Crius' eyebrow raising slightly. The substance was one of the things used as an important thickener, water binder, emulsion stabilizer, and gelling agent for water and other liquid substances. Being applied to an already gelled like being, should result in the effects of further hardening and binding, perhaps even resorting in a full restriction of movement. Crius grins as he casually flicks a hand outwards towards the falling Hedoro. The Hey, You Just Made That Up! technique being used in order to attack and cancel out one of her Made Up abilities, that ability being known as Aqua Vitae. Allowing him to further screw with her ability to manipulate her own body in a way she would be unable to prevent. He grinned lightly as he vanishes into the falling Silica Gel that would be collapsing around everything upon the ground, and his opponent at the same time.

Hedoro had forgotten about that quick sand defense, but it didn't stop her. Rather, gravity stopped any further attacks on her part, as she continued her plummeting to the ground. She could sense the massive avalanche of sand and silica gel rushing down toward her, threatening to engulf her completely. That seemed like far too much of a hassle, so she opted instead to use a Substitution, swapping places with one of the gobbets of demi-liquid from her failed attack. It didn't accomplish much, brought her back up to a height to avoid the worst of the dry deluge of desiccants. That was plenty, however, as she was able to follow it up with some nimble footwork even while dropping. It seemed the battle would be taking place back on solid ground again, or as much as loose sand and silica gel could count as solid. Crius had tried to hide himself once more, likely to try switching with a clone once more. She knew he had some method of remaining beyond the reach of her senses, so she didn't go to any great lengths to try to find him. Instead she landed on the gathered sands in a solid impact, the loose granules cratering slightly from the force of her landing. She would have to start working a bit harder at this game if she wanted to get the puppet to come out of hiding once more. She straightened up before seeming to swell up somewhat, almost as if she was inhaling deeply. To a certain extent, that was what she was doing, but not actually sucking in air from beyond her surface, something was happening within instead. She had something in mind, of course, but what was the question.

Hmm, I think you can. Thankfully Hedoro has a clan, otherwise that was the made-up that kept her alive...)

Crius chuckled momentarily to himself. He could already see Hedoro attempting to pull off something else, and that would grow to be rather irritating for him if she managed some sort of escape plan, despite the over whelming amount of silica gel that was around her, and his new move of solidifying her body by playing around with chemical reactions from her own substance. Slowly shaking his head, Crius casually rose his hand upwards, at the same time a second Crius would be mirroring his effect on the other side of her. Neither of which would be making any real move to attack her or anything, at least not right off the bat. Instead of an attack, multiple smaller puppets known as his Caged miniatures would move themselves about around Hedoro herself, each one actually tactfully maneuvering themselves to create a sphere like dome around Hedoro within a short distance, encasing her and one of the two Crius' inside of a hazy dome to which nothing could pass through in either direction. Grinning now, either Crius would slowly lower their arms and cross them across their chest. The Crius inside the new found cage would casually open their mouth, as a golden mist would fill the entire caged area in order to allow it's properties to take effect. This Golden Mist known as the Goddess Sealing technique would actually cause Hedoro's very souls to be drained away and into the boy of Crius within the barrier. The second Crius outside the barrier would serve a secondary purpose, actually continuing to manipulate the sand turned Silica Gel in the area, and cause it to collapse over the newly made dome in a moment, encasing the dome itself in a large barrier of Silica Gel. Allowing it to fortify the effects of the Dome, and prevent liquids in any form from getting too near to the sphere like barrier itself, even though nothing could pass through, this would be a secondary measure. "Let's rap this up, shall we? Hurry up and break the chemical reaction holding you still.. Or at least stiller then usual, so we can continue in this nice little dome, sound good?" The Crius within the barrier says with a grin, as he continues to stand there awaiting Hedoro's next action.

Quote:
Caged Miniatures
A series of puppets Crius created, to which actually are capable of moving throughout any surface without needing to worry about being stopped by something. They move underneath the ground, or the waters surface, etc. In order to be used the way they're required. What these creature like puppets do, are function as a move able version of the Five Seal Barrier technique. Move able in the way that when they position themselves, they release a short chakra frequency in order to activate and create a dome like barrier around opponent and Crius. This hazy barrier is actually a sphere of whatever size Crius wishes, in order to prevent any sort of transportation inside or outside of the hazy barrier. This technique costs 1000 chakra to activate, and another 1000 chakra any time the dome needs to be expanded or shrunk.

Hedoro had had ample time to prepare her move, enough that Crius did not manage to stop it in time. At the same time as the smaller things were moving, so was she. First, a thick cloud of murk was expelled, billowing forth rapidly, more and more, seemingly without end. The dank mist swallowed up the figures, the silica gel, what remained of the buildings, and anyone hapless enough to not have already run screaming from the village. The cloud wouldn't hide her actual presence, but perhaps it had an ulterior motive, just as Hedoro did. She was moving too. Even with the cloud and the gel, she could still roughly sense her surroundings, enough to feel the smaller things moving around her. Too obvious. Hedoro ate things by engulfing them, the signs of being surrounded called out to her like a flare. She wasn't done, though. She would appear behind what she took to be the real Crius, the one not within the dome with a fragment of her own substance. Most of her had managed to escape, but some had remained behind, trapped.

Rather than immediately attack, she took the opportunity to speak. "You think you have the skill to alter my processes. Foolish half-human. Die for your hubris!" She lashed out with over a dozen tendrils, each taking the form of a snapping jaw, slavering for a chance to rip Crius apart into bite-sized morsels. He had really though her limited by his attempts to change her physiognomy? That was even more insulting than him trotting out another tired clone against her. Even then, she did feel a pang at a deep level, when the fraction of her soul within the dome was sapped. That had hurt, in a sense she had not felt before. She would make him suffer for that.

[ Yup, It really isn't going to do that much, since I doubt we're going to make this last for over 200 of your posts, or even 500? of mine.. xd ]
An upper hand? A technique that would appear out of the blue or sudden? Those were laughable concepts to Crius, although his voice did not raise in humor nor did a laugh be allowed to come from his lips. Simply put the tact had been put into place, the lashing out rage of his opponent had gone exactly as he foresaw. And now Crius would finish his action in the only way he knew how, decimation. "You're facing a puppeteer Hedoro... A rather powerful one at that.. Do you really think I will bounce around with standard clones? I haven't used a clone all game." Crius says with a slow shake of his head as Hedoro's remaining essence struck out at him, enveloping him and attempting to tear his body apart. Of course his body wasn't made of wood, or metal. It's properties were something else entirely and such an advantage would hinder Hedoro's attacks just enough. The fake metals merged with the diamond bodies of the Kailash clan would cause normal attacks to graze off of it's hard diamond frame without an issue, of course this would not stop Hedoro's very substance for long, but it did the necessary effects in order to hinder just long enough for the retaliation to come. The Sealing Technique Absorption Seal centered in the particular form of Crius' core would activate almost instantly, drawing in all substance in the area in order to pull it into Crius' very body and nullify it. Absorbing all marks of the water element from the area, as soon as it was fully released into the environment. Since in a likeness, Hedoro's current form was nothing more then a large haze and an attacking wave of vicious biting water, she should find herself being drawn into Crius' own body and nullified. Of course, she was right in a sense in her words. This Crius was not Crius, the other Crius was not Crius either though. Both of them were puppets, perfectly configured puppets given a singular purpose. Restrain and Absorb. Which would mean the true Crius, if you wished to consider him such a thing seeing as how his real function worked, would be somewhere nearby, outside of the range of the attack just like every other time she attempted something a little too out of the box. With the two perfect replicas of Crius being defeated in a way by their own techniques, and their chakra fueled by a secondary source of Chakra thanks to the Kitsuna clan. Crius casually waved his hand from his location outside of the approximate distance to which Hedoro's sensory could reach due to the absorbing nature of the Silica Gel that had been in the area. Further more keeping himself from range of his explosive launch of black mist like substance that would be rapidly disappearing and possibly gone very soon. Crius himself would casually cross his arms across his chest, he surely wasn't done yet. She wanted to try and undermine his abilities, he may as well go a stack away from simply playing around like he had been doing up until now. Each of his puppets had used their own ability, and as such he would go off and finish things up by using his own. From the distance he was at, his attack wouldn't be immediate, but by the assumed state that Hedoro would be in, it would be a good way to finish things the way he would like. The use of the Mangekyou "Implosion" Technique, the very space around anything remaining of Hedoro would immediately warp, and then cause everything in that area to be pulled away and reappear within his soul absorbing barrier. Crius grinned, his accuracy and speed would be spot on thanks to the assorted Doujutsu at his disposal.

Quote:
Fake Metals
This is the technique that comes with the substance that Crius and all his puppets are made out of. Each fake metal is actually able to regenerate itself slightly. Though it is already a hard substance, any cracks or gashes that may be received in the puppet's or Crius' body, can be regenerated as if he were good as new. Since Crius' body is a little more advanced, with synthetic skin. His body can actually regrow the lost synthetic skin over his puppet like frame, once every day if it is damaged. In order to keep him concealed from others, as being more then just a normal human. These Fake Metals give Crius' puppets a single attack slot of their own. Meaning that each one of Crius' puppets, gets a single attack of their own, outside of Crius' two attacks.

Something felt off the moment that Hedoro's attack first made contact with the Crius outside of the barrier. This one didn't seem as strong as how Crius had felt earlier, but neither was it a clone. A puppet of himself? How narcissistic. And whatever this puppet was made from, it was tougher than expected. Not to the point that she couldn't eat it, but it took a moment longer for each bite to actually get anywhere. He was already going on the attack before she had managed to eat too much. She felt worried for a moment when he used an unknown technique that began to draw material into the puppet's shell, but worry turned to amusement when the suction seemed to ignore her entirely, in favor of trace elements in the air. It still robbed her of much of her senses, but her form itself was unaffected. For someone with so many Doujutsu at his command, it seemed Crius couldn't actually see everything. Indeed, hadn't seen one certain fact for some time now. How she had already changed her substance before he had tried affecting her, locking down her composition. Normally she was basically water, true. But at the moment, and for several moments previously, she had been something else entirely. This momentary lack of perception on Crius' part would prove costly as more and more of his Absorb puppet would disappear to her appetite. Unfortunately she wouldn't have the time to finish her meal, she felt a strange gravity affecting her, a displacement of sorts. She had experienced something similar before, though it was quite some time ago. Enough to give her warning. Not enough to completely dodge the effect, but enough to take certain measures. Such as much of her substance and mass traveling along the curious pathway that was her innerspace, to travel to a third location from which she existed. That being from back early in the battle, one of her attacks that had failed, her substance seemingly fallen useless to the ground. But not forgotten. She felt another pang, as another portion of her soul was sapped. Did Crius think to win by simple attrition, keep sending bits and pieces of her into that barrier? She'd have to take care of it before much longer.

It wouldn't be long, however. Already, the noxious mist she had emitted had covered the entirety of Hidden Rain, it's virulence seemingly unchecked. Life of all kinds withered and died, even nonliving components rotted. Buildings gradually sloughed off their foundations into masses of muck, while what little remained of plant life had long since virtually disintegrated. This effect was not limited to merely the scenery, though. The vast wave of pollution, of foulness and sickness began to eat away at anything and everything that was not her, in a fairly accurate representation of her own hunger. The ground itself would grow unstable as it grew fallow, then into more of the same vitriolic muck as before. This included the footing of the miniature puppets. If they didn't move, they too would be swallowed up by the muck under their feet, and rotted into the same. Even the silica gel that still filled much of the village rotted, the combination of the pollution from without, and the virulence from within combining to almost instantly turn the granular masses into so much sludge.

This effect was rampant now, and almost uncontrollable. Such a wide effect made it difficult to even monitor, let alone guide. That being said, at this wide of a range, was guiding even necessary? Wherever Crius- the main Crius- was located, he too would be a target from the village-wide force of entropy Hedoro had ushered in. Pollution, debasement, excrement, filth, vileness, all the darkest and most unclean things of the world had been reproduced in this attack, like Hedoro had pulled out a portion of her own darker nature and force-fed it to the planet itself. This was a rejection at it's most basic level, a rejection of all that was clean and unsullied. Even the chakra in the air would wither to nothingness almost instantly, any technique that might be used would dissipate in an instant. This time with much more cruel effects than before. Before, the techniques would simply be rotted away and be gone. Now, any techniques Crius might try to manifest would still rot away, quicker than before. Also, the chakra itself would become infected, traveling back to whichever bodies he might be working through, and infect them as well. She had already tainted his Absorb puppet, any others would not be long in following. Could Crius withstand the truest manifestation of an entire village of corruption? He would soon find out, one way or another.

User Image She was in just as quit as she watned to be. She was after all goign to be the reason why this village that was up and coming would be back to ruins in one day. She was a death bringer. However nobody even seemd to recoginze that was her talent. She had a small cross hanging from her wrist that she like to play with.

"..."

She didn't speak much. The rain started to fall on her head. She looked outwards to her mark. He wasn't very far away. He was waiting for his death at a small meal at the BBQ shack. She was good with moving targets. However her prime motive wasn't to cause a stir..how could she not cause a stir when he was with about twenty other people all enjoying their meal. A assassin she was...a murderer she wasn't. She just guessed that she would have to take this shot and make it count.

"..."

She walked around this village as the rain started to fall. She fingered her cross and played with it. ALmsot wishing she didn't have to do this. She wished that it wasn't necisarry to be like this.. to be this evil forr the sake of good. But she was. She was the agent of good. So she would do what she did best. Kill. She managed to find herself about a mile away from the BBQ shack. She managed to say a brief prayer. She wondered if he prayed. If he asked for forgivness. Not that it mattered anymore. She rubbed her hand against the cross and a large bow and arrow was created in her hand. She pulled the string back. That was the end of his life. She let the string go and the arrow flew through the air. It seemed like a shooting star. But it was death that came at the end of the arrow.

"..."

She didn't have to stand there to hit the mark. She felt his soul enter hers. She killed him. She felt the pain in her chest. As she stood there for a moment again. She watched the arrow pierce through the Rain Kage's chest. She touched the cross again and the bow dissappeared. The Rain Kage fell dead all with an arrow through his chest. All that was left in the wake of the village was blood soaked Hidden Moon Headband.

"Fair enough, Hedoro.. Your point has been proven quite accurately, in my underestimation of you. Such underestimation would surely continue to lead to my downfall. And although a death has not been prominent, you have succeeded in accurately defeating me in a rather proficient method, through sheer number, in a sense anyways." Crius Akasun's voice speaks out, filling every space and area around where Hedoro and her increasingly expansive substance had taken sanctuary. Although Crius' own abilities allowed him to see all, and foresee any circumstance. His own vanity had made him blind to what was actually happening before him. As such, he had resorted to one of the final defenses that he held, as all his puppets across the area lost their chakra connections in an instant, severing the chords that tied him and his puppets together before the infection would fully effect him. The air around him would swirl with pure wind, a barrier of wind having formed and prevented any form of the substance to move towards him, despite the fact there was not all too much of a large area to which could be prevented away from him at the full Three Hundred and Sixty degrees. "As our terms had been from the beginning, I concede in this battle, and as such you're allowed to have anything you wish. From something I possess, to a specific clan's power to which you would like to possess. Roughly anything to which you could have is possible to you, all you must do is choose." Crius says casually, with a slight wave of his hand. Although he could probably figure out a move of escape, or anything of that likeness, Crius did have some honor and code to live by. His own abilities had not proven satisfactory to him, and as such he did not manage to stand up to his own expectations, he had lost fair and square. All that remained now, was to determine whether or not Hedoro had found it necessary to continue the battle despite his obvious white flag. Or if she would accept the acknowledgement of Crius giving in, and proceed to decide what it was she wanted as a form of reward for her winnings. "Oh yeah.. And Hidden Rain's Kage is dead, assassination it seems from here. Although you probably assisted one way or another in their death." He says with a chuckle. "It seems a war may be breaking out soon, I wouldn't want you to miss out on some free meals from either casualties or simply those you defeat yourself.

[ Let this sit too long, and I couldn't find a realistic way to continue the battle after you let loose pure pollution onto the playing field. xp ]

Hedoro straightened up, puzzled, as the voice sounded from everywhere and nowhere. More games? Had the Criuses she had been fighting all puppets, had none of them been the main body, again? Frustrating. It seemed he was surrendering, forfeiting. There had to be more to it than that, though. Such a shallow end to what had been an intense battle just seemed anticlimactic. As well, judging from Crius' character, such a move was unexpected, save if it was indeed another trick. She didn't trust him, but even so, she had the feeling that for once, he was telling the truth. so she had won? By what margin was that determined? Neither of them had died, wasn't that the one and only true way of determining a winner? And she was still hungry... It seemed he would still honor their agreement, that anything she could wish for was hers. That was almost certainly a trick, too. She was certainly not the most well-read of beings, but even she knew the watchword when it came to wishes. 'Be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.' Whatever it was that she might want, actually getting it would be another matter entirely. Something that fraught with unknowable risks was a dangerous prospect, and would need some time to fully understand all of the nuances. "I do not release you from your bond, but I will claim it at another time. You're a dangerous foe, Crius Akasun, and I won't fall prey to such a petty trick again. If there is war brewing, then there are many other victims waiting who will prove to be much less trouble than you." Her rather lengthy speech, for her anyways, showed that her cruel side was finally withdrawing, letting her mind, and color, return to the neutral state. Continually being denied a victory throughout that fight had both strengthened and weakened her Kuro persona, enough that it finally just let it go. the anger would remain, to be unleashed upon someone else, though. Already, she could feel that what Crius said was true, at least as far as her original target being dead. Denied that, too? This was turning into one long wasted effort, and she was hungrier than ever now. Grumbling to herself, she let the pollution she had created go it's own way. No longer being strengthened, it was still a deadly miasma and morass, but it could now be cleaned, eventually. At some level, she had enjoyed finally destroying Hidden Rain more than the actual battle. If luck was on her side, then those damnable bastards from the before time would have met their fate, in a hideously painful manner. They deserved no better.

For now, it seemed, her business was done. There was no one to fight, and nothing to eat. She could attempt to drink the sludge that had formerly been the village and the people, but even with just a sample, she could tell that wouldn't be satisfying in the slightest. There was nothing more for her here, and she needed to look into the truth of what Crius had told her, if there was actually a war forming after all these years.

Muramasa [Daimyo], Hayate

It was the usual dreary rainy day in Hidden Rain, and Hayate had gotten use to it with his stay in the village with a lovely Gami girl. The two of them shared a rather large house, about two stories, that was connected to a training dojo by a covered catwalk that crosses over a river. Last the male swordsman had saw Victoria, he left her sleeping in bed after he had woke up. Hayate now stood in the dojo wearing nothing more than a pair of jeans, even his feet were bear as he run around an automated training dummy. Currently being wielded was a simple looking swords with triangle marks along the blade. The hilt was basic even wrapped in a plain black leather and cloth. As a group of the dummies try and surround the swordsman, he whips out with his wrist and sends the blade out like a whip. With the sword in its separated, whip-like state, Hayate spins in it around him to strike and cut apart the dummies. After his training the blade seemingly returns back to its sword mode before being sheathed. He then lays the sheathed sword against the way and lets out a deep sigh while catching his breath.

User Image Victoria yawned a little as she sat up and stretched in the bed. The girl's eyes glanced over as she saw Hayate had already been awake. Not surprised, she slipped out of bed. How long has it been since she and him had been living together? The young girl moved over to the dresser and slipped on something a little sexier. She couldn't even remember anymore. On the bright side at least he wasn't very hard to find even in the rather large house. Victoria made her way down the stairs checking in the living room. Not there.. She moved from the living room to the kitchen. Not there either. That usually meant he was only in one other place. She sighed a little moving outside and across the catwalk that connected the house to the dojo. She just happened to slip in the dojo, and close the sliding door behind her right as Hayate was catching his breath. The young girl walked into the dojo in nothing but a light pink lace bra and matching panties. She picked up one of the training kendo swords, and placed it sheath up on the ground. The palm of her hand on the sheath as she walked in a circle around it. Purposely just to show off how beautiful she was, and so he could see just how little she was wearing. A sly grin formed on her face. "How about we play a game?" she teasingly asked.

The swordsman leans the now sheathed blade on the wall as he looks over the other blades of his, each unique in there own way. One was referred to as a 'chain' sword, which was more like a massive chainsaw with a sword hilt. Otherwise, the ones he used the most was dual blades with specially designed hilts, to allow him to flip the way they were wielded easily. Hayate is happily greeted by the sight of the scantily clad Gami girl entering the dojo. He didn't know she was awake yet, or the actually time it was at the moment. As Victoria modeled herself off in that sexy, pink lace bra and panties, the swordsman walked over and lightly places a hand on her cheek, "Well, Hello to you too, Victoria." Hayate steals a light kiss for her lips before looking her over once more, "Oh? What game did you have in mind, Dear?" His hand tenderly rubs her cheek as the other one is placed on her hip.

User Image Victoria smiled as Hayate caressed her cheek before kissing her. "Hello~" she cooed after the kiss. It was amazing how quickly it got his attention. Walk in a room with little to nothing on. Works like a charm every time. "Hmm.. I'll give you a hint. Its something very sexy." she said before wrapping her arms around him. A slight smirk formed on her face. "I think I'm starting to develop clothsaphobia." she said with a giggle before kissing him. She couldn't believe that she was using that reference from their past. Although it was a happy memory because they did meet on that day. So at least the reference was with good intentions.

The swordsman lightly licked his lips as Victoria tells him the game will be something sexy. "I see, but what can be sexier than you?" Hayate ask as his hand on her hip slips down and caresses her pantie clad rear. He then pulls her in closer and kisses her lips once more as she joked about developing that silly phobia, "Hmm, I see that. Perhaps I am a lucky man then, though I'd likely be jealous if I saw other eying you, Victoria." His second hand rests lightly on the Gami girl's back as he traces his fingers along the back of that lacy bra. The swordsman looks lightly into her lovely eyes, "Your the best thing to happen to me, Victoria. I am so glad I meet you that night." Again speaking in reference to the night they meet and begin training and living together. Hayate gives her rear a teasing pinch as he smiles, "So..lets play, Love."
