Paul grimaced. After a moment, he figured out a way to create a two-way connection.
The penny, seemingly of its own accord (actually due to Paul experimenting with evoking) began to slowly, laboriously, roll up Siber's back so as to be out of vision. After two or three attempts and a minute and a half, it reached its destination, and subtly slipped around to Siber's ear, where it began to speak, very, very quietly.
"You know, I'd come hang out, but I'd really, really, really, rather avoid Agrotera for the moment. Has your warlock ever gotten really mad? Then you must know how painful it gets when they're angry. Proximity has an effect. I'd prefer to avoid that for the moment.
"Oh, and have you seen a Wal-Mart or something like that around here? I wanna buy something bigger than my miniature Glock. I can't hit crap with this thing."

"Turn one hundred and eighty degrees, walk seventeen feet and eight inches, then look seventy-three degrees right and twenty up," a voice sounded in Paul's ear. It was definitely not from Siber's table.

Agrotera glanced with only a slightly raised eyebrow at the extraordinarily inconspicious coin before Siber pocketed it. Ignoring it completely she focused on Siber again with a smile.
"Not particularly dear. I haven't encountered any problems yet. Although, I wouldn't really expect to, since I was not one of the few in the spotlight with the whole,... disappearance scheme." She emphasized the word slightly, not wanting to flatly point out to anyone walking nearby or listening that the trio standing there were in connection with the shifting of most of greater L.A. , and all the chaos with it, only hours before. She figured Siber would take the hint and not blurt it out, but wondered if Joe or the, penny, on Sibers ear would. Forcing back a grin she decided she should leave them to thier own machinations.
"Well gentlemen, I believe I shall head on towards our stomping ground. I will see you there in..." She paused to glance up at the sky for a moment. "An hour or so. Ta dears. "
She made a peace sign with two of her fingers and crooked them twice, the sign meaning 'kiss kiss' with her.. vampiric friends. Pushing both hands in her pockets she then turned and continued down the street, a deadly swagger in her steps as she stepped around the corner out of thier vision.
Agrotera's eyes flashed as she leaned against the building at her back casually, ignoreing the scraping sound as she leaned back, propping one booted foot on the wall behind her and crossing her arms. She let her silver hair fall over to curtain her face and hide her eyes before she let her cold gaze search the streets around her. The playful teasing note was completely erased from her voice and mind now.
Agrotera whirled in a blur and shot down a side alley, unwanting to be on the main street. It occurred to her that she may be targeted as well, for simply being a follower of Legion, but she guessed she wasn't a top dog in that running. Slipping quickly down the deserted alleyway she paused occasionally to listen, aiming to come out near the others.
friends out there are Hunters. Excepting this little truce and McCoullogh though.>
She stopped in her tracks and thought about that. With a grimace she agreed mulishly.
Ash sniped sarcastically.
Ignoreing Ash's last comment she turned and sat down upon a box at her left. Again she uncomfortably leaned her back against the building, crossing her feet to rest her elbows on her knees and prop her chin in her palm. Eyes narrowing she focused enough to push what information she knew back into the part of her brain where her warlock was.
Agrotera closed her eyes to focus her kinetic abilities. She didn't need to probe everywhere to find Legion, only pull the tendril that would connect them. As his follower, with his power to hers, she had felt that connection snap into place immediately. It was so he could find her and speak with a thought, and she was going to try to follow it back to him. Of course, if he was nowhere close or hiding his presence she would never find him, but she would try. Grabbing the tendril with her thoughts she sent a hesitant low powered thought so that it would be under any radar winging up the connection. "Legion?"

"This communication must be kept short," Agrotera immediately heard, as if Legion were standing in front of her, though he certainly was not. "Any time mental communication is used, it can be traced; I can already feel cyNet3 attempting to tap it. And be careful of the druids. Are there any animals around you?" There weren't. She dutifully informed him of this. "Okay, good- Damn it! CyNet3 has gotten better, they're going to find me in a matter of seconds if I don't cut this, just don't trust the-" She felt the mental link forcibly closed a moment later.
"Talking with your master, deary?" came a woman's soft, playful voice from beside her. She was in a black-and-red-themed gothic lolita outfit with a parasol over her head keeping the direct sunlight off of her. Her face was pale, her features were Asian, and her canines were disconcertingly sharp.

Paul swore gently. "Siber. If I'm not talking in like, twenty minutes, come looking for me. IMMEDIATELY." He then stuck the coin under his chin where it magically stuck, and he decided to leave it there. Then at least someone would know what was going on.
"Okay," he then responded to the voice. He turned around, glanced right and up...

It took Paul several seconds to realize what he was looking at. There was a large lens floating in the air, which suddenly disappeared as Paul expressed his recognition of it.
"Excellent. Approach what you just saw and stand beneath it," the voice instructed. "There will be a pair of glasses on the ground next to the storefront. Pick them up and wear them, then seek that which you saw again."

Apparently, Paul had made no attempt to respond to Siber's warning that there may be people who would be tapping conversations, tracking movements, and otherwise accessing every single avenue of information possible to kill them all. As soon as Paul gave him the final message (because he had stoutly refused to answer any of the rest), he tapped the penny with his shark tooth necklace (still intact), letting a morsel of Leviathan's power melt the penny into the band of his watch. He gave Agrotera a polite good-bye as she took her leave and wondered what in all hell to do.
"Joe, I'm hitting up the first diner I see. Come with if you're hungry." He started off down the road, eager for a quick meal. Diners were not in short supply and were in low demand at the city's current stress level. He headed in for a quick in-and-out operation.

Siber saw Takeshi sitting at a table, sitting almost perfectly still, staring at a hamburger with one bite taken out of it.

Joe sighed at all the action going on. He felt a little drained after his whole "flaming, anrgy Avatar mode", and more than a little confused at the situation. The penny came through the air and Joe smirked imperceptibly at the sense of magic.
Joe nodded inwardly and shrugged. Better to ignore it. He waved a casual goodbye to Agrotera and turned to Siber. "Food? Sounds good to me, I guess. I think I'm pretty much ready to go now." Joe entered the diner behind Siber and saw Takeshi. "Just order me anything," he said to Siber, then walked over and sat down in front of Takeshi. "Yo."

Joe's eyebrow raised, as always. "Whowhat? You're not making any sense, dude. Come on, why can't you talk?" He spoke lightly, but at the same time he withdrew his hand from the table and glanced inconspicously around.
