[So far as I know, it's night, and everyone is awake. My character and Megalyn's character are up and talking in the halls, the others are in the Slytherin Common Room, I believe. That's all I can say.]

Cherry's face fell when he mentioned pissing off Slytherin. "It seems like so long ago our houses were chosen for us. I remember that my bloodline put me in Slytherin, but honestly I didn't want it. You know sometimes I wonder if house even matters anymore." Cherry thought allowed and rubbed her wrist. Damn her father and everything he'd done. she thought. He ruined her whole world and even tried to mark her to set her apart from fighting for what she knew was right. She swore in her mind she would help everyone and anyone who wanted him killed.

((Actually...everyone else is in my Prefect room. It's just off the common room, but regardless that's where we are is in my room. I'm waiting for the other girls to respond to my post so...go ahead and do your own things I guess until then.))

Carina kinda froze when Cherry entered Raven's dorm room. Obviously she hadn't been there before, and also didn't notice that she was a Gryffindor, a relief. Suprised that she had left as soon as she had come was too a bit of a relief. "Yes, a possible recruit. But the name Riddle sounds familiar..." She commented.

Megalyn BroadwayStar Cherry's face fell when he mentioned pissing off Slytherin. "You're..." Cam started, frowning. His glasses flashed with the light of the moon that filtered through the windows. "You're in Slytherin? Can't be right, you're way too nice." he commented with a half-grin. All the Slytherins he knew had sticks so far up their asses you could see them when they opened their mouths. "And...you mentioned a bloodline? First I've heard of the Hat picking off of something like that." he added with pensive look, observing her face. Then he noticed that she was rubbing her wrist. "Cut yourself by accident?" he ventured, motioning to it. The way he spoke showed that he was oblivious to what she was hiding from him.

Cherry's face faltered further and in her mind she cursed how transparent she was. "Did I say bloodline? I just meant, you know... figuratively some people are put in houses because of their bloodline. I didn't necessarily mean me when I said that." she said in a rush. She then looked at her arm where her sleeve covered it. "Yeah...I am um super clumsy and I cut it. So silly of me!" she giggled nervously touching her red hair. Cherry looked at her feet a moment and then looked at Cam. "You know, Cam? Not everyone in Slytherin is so bad. My mother's father, my Grandfather ALbert was one of the kindest and warmest people I knew and he grew up in Slytherin." she said blinking back tears at his memory. "Do you think it's possible to have every reason to be bad and dark but still be able to be good? No matter what scar or mark you carry that would say otherwise?" she asked sweetly and quietly.

Cam watched her, a little confused. Why was she acting so nervous now? She had been rather confident and cheerful...now she seemed to want to change the subject. He almost said something to her about his Slytherin comment, but she asked a question first. He nodded, smiling sincerely. "Of course. Everyone's different. A man from a tribe of murderous cannibals that's permanently tattooed to say he's from that tribe can turn out to be the nicest man you'll ever meet, and never conforming to his heritage." he said truthfully. "I let everyone prove themselves to me. When I judge people, I'd rather see their true nature than their exterior." he added. Although, in some cases, their exterior looks quite pretty. he said to himself after, still looking at her.

Raven was slightly rattled from what nearly could have led to Cherry realizing Carina was a Gryffindor, and possibly getting the all in trouble. Shaking her head quickly, she acknowledged Carina's comment. "See I thought the same thing. Riddle does sound very familiar. I've heard the name said here, but when and where?" She said trailing off a little.

Cherry then smiled again and returned to her cheerful nature. "Well all I know so far is that there is something big raging within these walls and it sure as hell isn't dark magic. I swear I feel this light around certain corners and halls but it's good. Like my- ugh! Like Lord Voldemort will be defeated." Cherry said very seriously again. She looked ay Cam and smiled at his eyes. "So I suppose I should go back to the Slytherin Common Room. There was a meeting going on there and I think I freaked a couple of girls out. My last name just seems to get to people." she giggled lightly and extended her hand to Cam. "If you're on the good side, maybe you should come. We could all use some answers." Cherry said to him.

Cam nodded. At the mention of her last name, his brain started to work again. She said her name had been Riddle. And that slip of the tongue...and her rubbing her wrist... Couldn't be. Not possible. He took her hand, looking at her soberly this time. "What's on your other hand?" he asked in a quiet voice. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone nor freak out." he added, holding her hand a little firmly, almost as if trying to reassure her.

Cherry felt panic shoot through her veins. She really didn't want anyone to know anything about her secret life. And for a moment she thought about going into her animangus form as a baby fox. But she didn't. There was something in his eyes that made her hesitate. And almost trust. Which was something she hadn't done since her Grandfather died. "Cam, I um... guess you have a right to know. But first I have to tell you I'm on Dumbledore's side, and Harry's side and everyone who wants to see the Death Eater's destroyed. I'm on that side. ALways have been and always will be." Cherry said with true sincerity. Slowly she reached for her sleeve, squinted her eyes to make sure she didn't cry and exposed her left arm and the deep black burn of a serpent wrapped through a skull. She looked back to look into Cam's eyes and said, "I'm Voldemort's daughter." she said in a soft velvety whisper.

Cam held her gaze for a moment, then looked at her arm. Sure enough, as he'd suspected, the Dark Mark was there. He looked at her. "I believe you. There's no way you willingly did that." he said quietly. "Unless you're the master of deception, you're too sincere about all of this." he continued, reaching for the mark slowly, almost reverently. He stopped, his hand a good ways from her arm still. "Do you mind if I look at it? Or will something happen if I touch it?" he asked, not sure exactly how it worked. All he knew was that it was potent, dark magic.

Cherry sighed. "I don't know anything about it. I think long ago Dumbledore put a spell on it to hide it. But I think it backfired because most of my childhood memories are lost." Cherry extended her arm a little further. "I suppose it couldn't do any harm to have someone look at it more closely. I sure as hell wont because I'd rather it just go away!" she said returning to her usual genuine and fun loving disposition.

"Who wouldn't?" Cam said with a half-smile. He took her wrist lightly, holding her arm up to what little light was in the hallway. He leaned his head forward, examining it. From what he knew, if it moved and was jet black, it was active. Right now, it was still, and faint. It looked like little more than your average tattoo...a sinister, slightly cool looking if you had the right tastes, tattoo. He let her arm go, looking back up at her face. "You know, there's ways to cover that up, at least visually...and none of them require spells...however, they do require getting to a Muggle village." he said.
