For what seems like forever, Aeris holds onto Thanatos, shaking a little from the shock of it all. "Thanatos.." She whispers softly as she runs a hand along his hair and back, patting him lovingly. "I thought I had lost you. Im soo glad your ok!"

As a couple tears tumble down her cheeks, Aeris lifts a hand to wipe it away. Hearing his words, she slowly starts to shake her head and casts a smile back to Thanatos. "No.. you shouldnt blame yourself Thanatos. What happened between me and Mastema was...well, it was my doing as well. I agreed to go with him then. You havent caused me any pain. Im just sorry I couldnt be there for you, you are still my son afterall."

*He couldn't take any more of this mushy crap,raising his blade high above his head he gripped it with both hands and pulled it down at the part of the nec where the spine goes to the skull,he was attemtpting to force the blade into there,then drage it down through his spine til the end of his tailbone.He did luckily have the element of surprise.*

*He looks straight back at Aeris with a blank, innocent expression, like a child receiving a life lesson from a parent. He his cheeks shine from the tears, and his unusually beautiful, deep gray eyes seem to hold the tenderness a new born's would. He smiles through them never the less* It's not your fault.... It's not your fault that I was set out into this world alone and afraid. That's in the past.... I'm just so happy... to finally be with you and not just be hearing about you through everyone else.... *He tilts his head to the side and closes his eyes, smiling as he felt the soft skin of Aeris's forearm against his cheek*

*TJ smiles at Than's innocence and Aeris's happiness. It was a rather heart lifting sight. He sees Soul raise a knife over his head and grunts, pushing himself forward. He uses all of his physical strength to try and pin Soul in a tackle against the wall*

She slowly starts to pull back from Thanatos, suddenly noticing Soul's action out of the corners of her eyes. With a surprised gasp, she once more graps hold of Than and yanks him back against her as TJ rushes forward to tackle the man.

*He is easilly tackled against the wall,but TJ had tackled him with his arms up in the air.With a malicious smile he attempted to use both hands and bring down his arm,stabbing TJ in the back.*

*He smiles at the thought of staying here with his mother... it would be the happiest thing to him right now. Before he can respond he hears Aeris's gasp as he's pulled forward. Luckily the knife didn't make it through his coat. He just leans on Aeris, surprised and looks over his shoulder at what was happening*

GAH! *The knife goes clean through his shoulder blade. He slides down out of energy. Despite knowing it would drive the knife in further, TJ forces himself to fall backwards so that he would have a chance to retaliate against Soul if he attacked again*

*Letting the knife go with one hand he used the other to hold onto it,turning his wrist a bit so it slipped out easilly.With great speed he brought the weapon across at Tj's throat attempting to slice it.*
