It was good to know Lykas wasn't able to eat life energy. He was still getting used to his powers so he must not have learned to do that yet. Hopefully he wouldn't ever learn the ability. Still, even if he ever did, someone would probably step up to keep him from eating everyone's soul. If they didn't, Lykas's human side certainly would. From what he said, hybrids were half human half Pokemon. That meant that there was still humanity in all the Pokemon wondering around. "So that's why you guys can talk," Arthur said. "So that Io person Sub was talking about must be some kind of Pokemon human."

Arthur could just imagine the telekinetic Hypno or Alakazam. However, his thoughts were interrupted when they got to the pool. At that moment, he felt heat from behind him. It was Lava, who was flaring up his back out of fear. "Lava," Arthur said picking up the Cyndaquil. "Don't worry, you're safe as long as you stay over here." Looking from the pool to Arthur, the Cyndaquil felt itself calming down a bit, but its flames still burned with fear.

"Well, most of us were human long before we had any Pokemon in us. Hybrids are often created through science of mysticism. I, for example, was recently fused with my Jellicent......" He paused at this point, remembering he'd have to tell Odd about Narcissa's fate sooner or later. "Anyway...I was fused with my Jellicent using a powerful artifact that fused our chi and then our bodies together." He explained as he looked down at Arthur's Cyndaquil.

"Actually, Io was a Channeler, a human whose chi has been bound to a Pokemon partner, through which they are capable of channeling chi into unique powers of their own. Like my boyfriend, Odd and Sub. Oh and Ryan, another of our members you probably haven't met yet." He explained. "She was a psycho who was trying to cause some kind of 'revolution' in all the wrong ways." He explained as he saw the little Cyndaquil he was examining flare up and show signs of fear.

"You know, most fires types don't have any issues with water in general. Unless it's exceedingly cold. Hot water is actually pretty comfortable to them, if Tails is any indication...." This would likely make no sense to Arthur since he'd never met the Vulpix hybrid in question.

"I heard my name!" Came a call as a teenage boy with white hair tinged red phased through the ceiling overhead, dropping down to stand near Lykas and Arthur. The teen's red eyes focused on Lykas for a moment before he turned to Arthur. "Hey, Arthur.....Who's the hybrid?" He asked as he walked over and looked Lykas over. "He looks kinda familiar....." Lykas remained quiet for the moment, not sure how to respond to Odd's questioning just yet.

Lykas hadn't had time to respond to Lava's fear of water before Odd had appeared and he paled when Arthur introduced him.

"Lykas?!" Odd asked as he looked the hybrid over. "What the heck happened to you?!" The Channeler asked as he looked at his blue skin with the white marks on it.

"I finished my second training mission with Master Varuna....." Lykas offered quietly. "And...um.....I kinda.....got fused with.....um....with Narcissa......." He'd been dreading this moment ever since it had happened.

"What? How? Why?!" Odd asked, trying to process what he'd been told.

"She offered to let me bond my chi with her and she was my most trusted Pokemon.....I didn't know she'd end up being fused with me.....That wasn't how it was supposed to work...." Lykas replied, looking sadder by the moment.

"I suppose it can't be helped....." Odd replied after a moment. "It's a sad thought to know she's gone after we spent so long raising her but she said she wanted to help you and this is a way to do so. Just never forget her sacrifice, ok?" The Channeler told his partner before looking around to Arthur.

"Getting settled in?" He asked of the new recruit, offering him a small smile.

Odd's channeling partner would make an appearance from his Pokeball a moment later, the Shedinja appearing in a bright, snazzy flash, fromhis Premier Ball.

Hearing Arthur's question, Odd shook his head. "Normally, no. Normally, when a human becomes a hybrid, it's just a DNA sample that's required to provide the genetic information for the species they're being combined with. At least, from what I've been able to uncover during my time here. Granted, that's for people who become a hybrid of their own volition." He explained. "Lykas literally fusing with our Frillish was a freak accident, really. It shouldn't have worked that way but it did, for some reason." He admitted, knowing Lykas and being certain he wasn't likely to be ready to talk about it for a while. He also seemed to have more on his mind that he wasn't saying just yet, though.

"Why don't you guys go ahead? Odd can take over the tour from here. I want to stay and start training." Lykas spoke up, motioning to Odd and his Shedinja.

"Sure....Good luck, Lykas." Odd replied, giving him a quick peck on the cheek before he started out of the pool room and motioned Arthur to follow him.

"Snagems! Assemble!" Sub shouted as he entered the main area of HQ, a folder in hand and Monstressor at his side, he didn't have Allan anymore so he needed a new bodyguard, his Tyranitar would do.

Lava was calm for a while, but then the call went out for everyone to assemble. Both Squirrel and Lava immediately jumped, with Lava's back flaring up again. As he ran around in fear, he had no idea he was actually chasing Squirrel, who was running from the fire. While they did that, Arthur simply smiled. Hearing Sub's call reminded him of one of his favorite shows as a child. They were getting together like some kind of super crime fighting team.

Hearing that Lykas wasn't going to answer the call, Arthur bowed to him again before following Odd. It seemed that he'd gotten himself a sort-of mentor for the time being. "Come on you two," Arthur called to Squirrel and Lava. Snapping into attention, they both ran after Arthur. While they were both wild eyed and crazy, the Shedninja was calm and collected. They could learn a thing or two from Cadenza.

Running into the main hall, Arthur found that they were the first ones to arrive. "We're here," Arthur called to Sub.

By this point, the usual group of Sol's was around, alongside the hybrid himself. Hearing the ideas wasn't anything unusual, aside from the idea of one impersonating a celebrity.

This led Sol in particular to turn his head towards Cera. "Hm..."

Of course, the Mew was already making herself scarce. "Ohhhh no. Last time you told me to go with them, I nearly got dragged into a prostitution ring. I'm lucky if I can hold my usual transformation, let alone trying to look like someone else entirely." She commented, crossing her arms.

"So that's what you meant when you told me not to ask when everyone came back. At any rate, it sounds like we've as good a plan as any."

Suddenly, both of them had a really bad feeling about this, and Amaranth wasn't sure why they looked less than thrilled.

"Daddy, this is your fault..." Cera commented, looking down.

"For his ideas with you, perhaps. I had no such hand in whatever he's opted to cook up for me. But to be a good enough sport to answer, It's had to have been more than a month since the last time I played chess with the reaper. I believe it's still his move." Sol quipped.

This didn't alleviate the other Ho-oh hybrid's confusion in the least.
