While it was true the flames would have given most second degree burns, Oni was protected by dragon scales that would take most of the heat and leave him with lesser burns than expected. Oni would let go of Roy and stand up holding his ribs, now that Nishi and Asa weren't around Oni would actually have to deal with not only the pain but the broken ribs unlike usual. Looking at Roy Oni would only snarl as he charged in once more. This time he would throw a left hook followed by a right uppercut. This combo would lack the power that they would have normally held if Oni would have been unharmed but still held enough power to show Roy that Oni wasn't going to back down easily.

Roy's eyes would widen seeing Oni charge at him, there was no comparison in their level of physical strength. Roy would leap back, dodging the first hook somehow and using his hands to carefully move the uppercut aside by redirecting it as Roy landed and slide back away from Oni. Roy would now prepare to use his finisher, he could feel his exhaustion and he was tiring fast. He had never been in such an intense battle. He would put everything into this.

"Same old Blood. It's good to know that you will be on my side through this. You are my only true ally in this upcoming war. I only wish that Dai, Chaos and Ves were here. If those three were here the five of us would be able to put this war to peace on our own."
Letting out a short laugh as he began to think about old times with his friends Baldr would turn around and his mask would reappear on his face.
"You will be approached by Sera. The one you attacked in that city before, do not attack him again. He will give you a pass to enter the realm and that will be all. I know you won't let him know of my plans but I don't know what it is you will need to do. That will be your choice since I won't be able to lead my own realm like I want to. Just don't tell Heaven or Hell about who I am is my only request other than that the realm is under you full command for the most part."

Heh...Blood chuckled again at the thought of meeting Sera all the way out here in the frozen tundra, "I wont kill him if thats what your asking...and theres no need to let him know of re deal"
He stepped away from the sphere twords the exit and looked over his shoulder at Balrd, "Is that all/" He wasnt to excited to get back to exploring the wastes for whatever it was he was lookigng for. If Baldr had things to do he wouldnt hold him from it. They could always talk through the marble Blood gave him.

As Roy prepared to use his finisher Oni began to prepare something all his own. Now it was a waiting game seeing who would rush first and who would be able to react the fastest afterwards. This next encounter would decided everything since neither knew what the other was planning. Who would win? Who would be the Leader of Hell in the final hour? Only time would tell.

"That's the Blood I know and trust."
Turning around towards his own exit Steed would start walking as if he wasn't going to answer Blood.
"That's all we need to discuss for now. If I need you I know how to contact you now."
With that Steed would leave the room that he and Blood had been talking in and come to his senses back in the forest he had been in.
"At least that's taken care of."

His senses slowly came back to him in a swirl as he brushed the layer of snow off himself that had occumulated in his short time inside the toom. "Who knows how this will turn out ehh?" he reached down beside him and patted the ruff but furry head of a snow tiger sitting in the snow next to himself. "Partners?" he asked the tiger, but chuckled and walked down the side of the snow drift...dissapearing into the snow. The tiger leaped after to follow him...

When Oni looked at Roy was gone again, it was as if he disappeared right before Oni's eyes. Roy was using his maximum speed. Oni wouldn't have any warning as the first hit was only the beginning of the finisher as Roy reappeared blasting out of the ground with an uppercut towards Oni's lower chin. Oni may have been taken by surprised and launched into the air in a corkscrew as Roy landed on the ground. Suddenly Roy would set himself in a blaze as he blasted off towards Oni's spinning body. "FIRE DEMON SURPRISE!" Roy's flaming fist would attempt to slam into Oni's face. This would send Oni crashing into the ground hard, since everything was happening terribly fast and would most likely feel like his entire body was set on fire. Roy then flew though the air and launched passed Oni while laid there. Oni would realized he won't be able to move due to his body being somehow stunned after hitting the ground with tremendous force. Roy then blasted up only 50 - 60 feet to do a turn around and blast downward with both of his feet out. His feet with gravity and force would stomp onto Oni's chest. Roy jumped off and landed by Oni and grabbed Oni's feet and swung him around and launched him with a toss. "FIRE DEMON BARRAGE!!!" Suddenly Roy slammed both of his open palms together to end his finisher blasting a folly of fire beams and destructive energy blasts towards Oni as he was flying from the toss. There would be a large explosion at the end and the smoke and aftermath would clear. Roy stood there waiting to see if Oni was down and out. Roy was breathing heavily and tired from that attack.

As Roy disappeared once again Oni would only let out a small sigh. Hadn't Roy realized that Oni held just as much speed as he did? Shaking his head Oni would only stand there and show Roy just why he didn't have a chance of winning this fight from the start. Oni was the better fighter, the stronger fighter and he was ready to stand his ground and prove it.
When Roy bust out of the ground Oni didn't even try to move and was sent flying into the air. When Roy appeared in the air with Oni once again Roy would connect and send Oni flying back into the ground hard. Oni didn't even have a chance to try to move before Roy came crashing down hard onto his chest before throwing him into the air and hitting him with a volley of fire beams and destructive energy blasts. For a moment there would be nothing but silence as the smoke from the aftermath just rose up from the ground with Oni no where in sight. Had Roy won? Did he just finish off someone that was bragging that he wouldn't lose? Couldn't lose.
As the smoke cleared a figure could start to be seen in the smoke. Two eyes could be seen in the smoke. Was it possible that Oni survived such a horrific onslaught? The answer was yes he had and he was ready to continue the fight. When the smoke cleared heavy burn marks could be seen all over his body. Sections of his scales had been blown off and blood was running down from the corner of his mouth as he stood there looking at Roy like he was possessed.
Slowly Oni's right hand began to blow with an eerie yellow glow as a sadistic and ominous laughter began to emanate from deep within Oni. It was clear that by taking such an onslaught he had once again given into the beast within himself. Disappearing in a burst of speed Oni would appear before Roy in an instant thrusting his right hand and the yellow orb that it held towards Roy's chest. If this hit the orb would explode on impact sending both Roy and Oni flying off in different directions, but things wouldn't end there. A bolt of lightning would pierce through the clouds and fly straight at Roy with enough power to finish the job. The bolt of lightning wouldn't be enough to kill Roy but enough to leave him unconscious for quite some time.

Hours had passed between some of the soldiers and Light as they did a bit of training. The training grounds wasn't too fancy...there was a large enough space away from the houses and other buildings that served to hold a small group of people. The fields were alive with swaying green grass, the wind racing through each blade while kissing each warrior on the cheek with a comforting touch. There was also a large circle made of white stone that was half buried by dirt and grass that simply lay there; forgotten and probably of no use but to provide a more firm area to use. Although Light noticed that it had some of the same designs and symbols that the ruins he saw before passing into Heaven's realm with Kono...
"Light. If you're done, we would be honored if you could come to Kite's funeral. We know you didn't know him but you did bring him back to his home...where he belongs." Two of the elders had approached Light, singling him out from the others. There wise, old gazes locked on to the imperfect angel preventing him from escaping to anywhere. Not even the darkest corners of his own thoughts could become a refuge. Light had to go. "Ah, sure. Funerals really aren't my thing...but I'll go." Light wiped his brow and followed the elders, hand slipping into the pockets of his pants as he slowly shifted his gaze from one elder to the next. Honestly, Light saw little use in a funeral except to bring closure for people. Death was irrelevant for beings such as himself. The Celestials were no exception as well...that was unless they fell prey to the fires of Hell, Chaos, or Corruption. All of the mentioned burned up spiritual energy for good! At least he had yet to find any recycled or reused traces of energy consumed by those elements. Perhaps it was better that way.
Moments passed before Light and the two elders arrived to the funeral. The site again looked as if they were a part of the ruins he saw earlier. The white stone was so plain and pale...as if no evil could taint it's surface. There were eight pillars surrounding everyone, each pillar about four feet in diameter and maybe twenty feet standing. Each pillar stood about a yard or so apart from each other and there was enough room within the perimeters to fit about 50-70 people. The pillars reminded Light of the obelisks in Egypt, as did the structure at the far end of where Light was. The base rose to about twice as tall as the pillars and the base itself looked like the beginning to a pyramid. Light would not be surprised if the ceiling started angling back down, perhaps like an inverted pyramid? Regardless, the entrance led to a darker passageway...underground it seemed. It was all very odd. The structure of some of these buildings intrigued Light...and probably for all the wrong reasons.
"My brothers and sisters..." Light's blue eyes shifted up to see several more elders at the front. They stood before a casket... "..." The silence of his tongue drowned the words of his thoughts. He had something to say but now was not the time. Instead he'd try to follow the speech. "...it was a brave sacrifice! Not one here should regret what has happened. It would be an insult to the man who chose to fight for us, and for our ideals! Although we bury the body we do not bury his spirit!"
Sighing, Light could already start to feel tired. It wasn't that he was uninterested or that he didn't care but he couldn't help but feel drowsy when listening to a monotone voice...but he couldn't leave and he didn't truly want to anyway.
"...the future may seem dark at times and in fact the darkness may bleed into our realm! Yet Kite and Kono will live on as embers to our passionate flame! We shall continue to fight the darkness! The leader of our armies will not have died in vain...as stars shine brightest at their dying hour they also give birth to a new entity. Nothing is wasted. His pride will become ours! His drive will become ours! His strength will also become ours!"
"Hm.." This funeral started sounding like a gather to arms speech. Perhaps it really was...as the elder said, dark times were ahead.
"Light" One of the elders approached the angel after the funeral, "So far no news of Kite's second in command. We'll continue to search but-" Cutting off the elder, Light smiled wide, pride and a bit of excitement splashed into his demeanor. "Not to worry. I have someone fantastic in mind to help me fight. She'll be one of several warriors that I will be summoning." "She?" "Correct. I've fought with her many a time...I trust her with my life. In fact...she saved my life once, I believe." "Hmm." "Indeed...I was actually going to summon her now. If you'll excuse me..."
Light would step back, bowing a bit to show respect to the elders. After all they were now looking after him. He had to play the part or it would just seem awkward...

(( -For when Raven gets on- ))
The imperfect angel would find himself alone again as he walked the streets of Heaven. He made his way to one of the gates, confident steps leading him forward at a swift pace. He would talk with the gatekeepers that he would be accompanied by someone at his return and that they would be wise to let them pass freely.
Light would slip out of Heaven's domain, phased out of the holy realm into the earthly one to where Light figured Raven to be. "I know you're about here somewhere..." Light muttered to himself. From the looks of it, he was in a forest..

"You know me so well..."
Her lilting voice teased from beyond a set of trees, a strange, romantic slur to her Matreyan accent. The ground was familiar, earthy, the blades of grass seemed to shift and bend towards her; drawn to her familiar symbiosis with them. It was a familiar realm to her, and she knew that despite her love of it, it was time to sojourn to a new place entirely. Despite her medium stature, Raven Kanzaki was much more solid than one would guess. She chose to freely represent herself in the comforting colors of the Ocean, more dear to her than any Element present. Her armor was sleeveless, hugging her form tightly, the tabard billowed in the breeze of the Forest as she advanced. The bright Azure was ornately displayed with Gold in Black velvet; a belt clasped around her slender waist, the familiar glint of Gold framing a Sapphire held together at the front. Black leather shorts worn underneath to allow her legs swift movement. The heavy set of her black boots carried her along in a familiar, graceful gait that led her beyond each tree. Along her headpiece, intricate weaves of Gold filigree held tiny drops of Sapphires, refracting light and casting soft blue dots along her pale forehead, a stark contrast from the depth of her Emerald optics.
"...you sent for me."
It was not a question, but something Raven felt. She held within her right grasp the double-shaft of her Lunar Scythe, her slender, gloved hands prepared to wield it's crescent-shaped blade; The pommel of her Astral Virtue Guardian's armor carried the sheer cape that fluttered behind her, her abdomen reinforced with its deep Blue and Gold-etched steel. Even in the dimness of the forest, the Scythe pulsated a soft and pale energy, so similar to Moonlight. Beyond her Sapphires, the elegant scripture "4" was etched in a soft green upon her forehead. Raven was prepared; long, intensive years of working with OXY had readied her to perceive when she would be needed. Light was both comrade and friend, and one she was constantly eager to learn from and share with. He had called to her, and she had answered.
She stopped short of him, the scythe descending to her right side, hovering an inch from the ground. The ebony bangs fluttered, the cat-like pupils of her optics dilated as she watched Light in interest, a broad grin forming along her visage. What new adventure was awaiting? She reached up, pulling the long braid of her hair over her left shoulder, a very Human habit she demonstrated when she was in thought. Despite the heavy-set armor, Raven felt a strange release of her usual stress. Perhaps for once it was because of burden of her Seal, the whimsical tattoo along her right shoulder, had been drastically altered since last met by the horrible Panther Demon. Gently brushing along the sheer cape that billowed, was a softer wall of light Grey, as though an entirely new cape draped along her shoulders and to the ground. At this proximity, the familiar whispers within her mind hinted at what was to come.

"I need you." Of all the things this imperfect angel could not help it would be the smile curving up upon his lips. The ever changing breeze kissing his cheek swept through the forest and tugged upon the looser strands of hair he kept untamed. His blue eyes fixed onto Raven's figure, her feminine frame somewhat emphasized by the armor she wore. Unlike her, Light only wore the black tank and a matching pair of pants he usually had on. He still had his gloves on and his boots were made to travel through various forms of terrain and weather. Oddly though he was unarmed but her and him both knew that he was more than prepared for combat.
Light outreached his hand to shake his comrade's in greeting and to lead her to a realm where even he had little knowledge of. If she was anticipating an adventure she would surely get one! Although he would hesitate to mention the road of blood they would have to travel on the way...but at this rate he was sure the amount of blood spilled would be lessened with her at his side. Of course Light would bring others to his side but she was the first. "We won't be staying here for long. It's not safe to discuss matters in this realm."
Light turned and waved his hand back to where he had first appeared. Splashes of light had remained from the portal where he had arrived, one of the gateways to Heaven ready to be opened at a simple command. "After some unfortunate circumstances, I had been made leader of Heaven's forces...that is to say that there isn't much of a force on their side anymore. A lot of people have died and a lot of people have gone missing. In the war for peace we are not doing well...Heh, sort of odd considering Heaven is usually thought to be the first to preach about it." Unless judgment needed to be passed down but that was another matter.
"Anyway. We have much to talk about." Light would step back as the sparks of light intensified and spread, a small tear in this reality opening to reveal a path of white light. "Following the light" would have a very literal meaning here as it would instead lead them to a holier land. At least to some, the realms beyond were holier places than this Godforsaken realm.

Raven knew better than to question. She was more for one to observe. She shook his familiar hand with a smile, then turned her ear to him. With each passing word, she remained silent and attentive, both to his voice, and the swirling thoughts wandering in and out of her mind like a small plume of smoke. Within a matter of seconds it became very clear that there was much change to be had. Lives lost; that was something Raven did not handle well. She was trained as a Kinetic Artificial Neohuman Zoned for Accurate Killing and Infiltration. She had spent a majority of her lifetime doing the killing. The memory of losing Noah to Jun so fresh in her mind, the grip of her fists clenched and unclenched. Light was formidable; for him to not ask, but state he needed her, Raven was more than willing to do what she could for him, and for the others whose lives were at stake; it was her Honor as a Guardian.
Leader of Heaven's Forces; well that sounded about right, and Raven reflected of thinking as much of Light on their first encounter. As an Elementalist, she said her silent thank you and goodbyes to the familiar world around her. Her cat-like pupils narrowed to slits as she watched the tear unfolding before them. "Well then, let's get to it." She smiled sincerely, following him as she edged closer, and onto the path of light.
