IVs are an effin pain. But I kind of like how they seperate one Pokemon from another, seemingly identical one. They still suck when breeding.

heh...Well, Sai has a Jirachi with a Jolly nature with a perfect 31 IV. So, it's top speed is 328. Out sped BOTH my Aerodactyl AND Jolteon...normally, that NEVER happens.
But in my case, I got screwed over royally when it came to IV.
Now, if you're still trying to figure out what IV's do, they determine how high your stats become after EV training. Even with epic EV training, if you get screwed over in the IV (which in most cases is totally random and uncontrollable unless you know how) then, no amount of EV training will fix it, which is what happened with me.

I don't look for shinies though. XD They always find me.
My friend came across a shiny Kingler but he accidentally killed it. He shook his DS so hard I thought the top was going to fly off. o-o ~Artzy
