"Return Steelix!" Mitsu called as the large Pokemon was sucked into the red and white shpere.

"C'mon Ralts, Ghastly. We'd better hurry before Mike get's too antsy." She rushed up the stairs arriving a moments after Mike she entered the code and put Titanium's Pokeball into the slot.

"You! Don't you move," Kasiya yelled, jumping from her hiding spot in the shadows. "Don't think I didn't see you, you rotton sneak thief! I saw you steal that fossil! I'm not going to let you get away with it either!"

Growlithe bared its fangs and growled, while Pikachu flared sparks everywhere. Vaporeon stood in a defensive stance, ready to attack again if she were told to. "You don't want to deal with these guys, trust...me..." she said, getting slightly distracted by the blue coloured Porygon. She honestly didn't know what Pokemon it was, and it was burning her up on the inside.

"We can't let her beat us can we Nitro?" Mike laughed as he broke out in an all out run, Nitro following right on his tail.

"Hey Mitsu, I'm going to beat you!" He shouted as he quickly caught up with her.

Soon after, the door burst open, there stood Mike, holding one hand on the door, gasping for air. "No fair, you cheated." he smirked. "Now since you won, why don't you let me take this first match?" He said, releasing Shiver from his Pokeball.

Shiver hopped up and down happily, hoping for a battle soon. "Cloyster!" he cried as he looked at his trainer, then at Ralts. He was happy to see his friend again, and let out a happy shout.

Nitro darted in a few moments later, annoyed that he was beaten by Mike. His mood quickly swept over his as he took his preferred place by Mike's side.

"I'm sure she can manage." smiled Mike.

Mike appproached the raised plateform that the proud gym leader sat on. "Ah...Mike, we meet again. I knew you'd come back to face me one day, I always thought there was something special about you." Roxanne said, already knowing Mike's intentions.

"You can save the flirting for after the battle Roxanne. I challenge you to a battle!" Shouted Mike, determination poured over his face like a tidal wave. "Go Shiver!"

Finally getting some action, the Cloyster lurched ahead of Mike and let out an intimidating cry. "Cloyster!"

"Hm...A water type I see, odd, I though you were from Lavaridge!" shouted the Gym Leader, throwing a Pokeball on the last word, out of it popping a Geodude.

"Duuuude!" cried the little rock Pokemon as it stared down Shiver.

"Let's do this!" Shouted Mike, "Shiver, Surf Attack!"

A wall of water rushed at the little rock Pokemon, who futially attempted to escape. He ran off in the other direction, hoping to outrun the watery doom, all the while Shiver was sitting there, smirking, his trainer doing the same.

In the end, the Geodude was overcome by the attack and was slammed into a wall, fainting instantly. "Oh my." stated Roxanne, "Your Cloyster is quite powerful, but that is not enough to beat me!" She yelled, already sending out a second Geodude.

"Ha! You never learn do you? Another Geodude? What could that possibly do?" Mike laughed, almost not being able to beleive it.

"Silence!" screamed Roxanne as she ordered. "Geodude, Rock Throw!"

Not expecting any resistance at all, Shiver was caught completely off guard by Geodude's attack, which connected and skidded him back a few inches. The aquatic Pokemon shrugged it off. "Cloyster!" it cried, and let loose another Surf.

Totally outmatched, the Geodude admited defeat with a salute to the Cloyster, then the wave struck, it was over.

Both trainers silent, Roxanne returned her beaten Geodude, and let her third and final ball fly. Out came a Nosepass, prepped for battle.

Shiver prepared to let loose another Surf, but Mike raised his hand, "Shiver, come back to my side."

A look of utter stupor came over the Cloyster as he hopped back to his trainer, he looked up at him as if to say: "Did I do something wrong?"

"We can't let you have ALL the fun now can we?" Mike said as he pet his Pokemon.


"Go Nitro."
