you know when you're a band geek when you paint your fingernails like instruments and you let everyone know what you have done in band.

MandaPanda2010 spaztaztical - you practice your instrument for fun - you tap out the beat of songs on the radio, and try to guess the time signature. - you actually started liking some of the classical music you play - you've tried to get band songs on your ipod - you don't quit, even thought your BD is a commie dictator - you've spent all of your warm-up time polishing your instrument -you've spent all of your warm-up time adjusting your reed so its "just right" -you've used your instrument as a weapon in defense. - your instrument is your friend. and you talk to it at times. - you named your instrument "hello, fofo! lets see if we can get that high E to sound less like a tortured rat, eh?" I play the clarinet... I actually have named it... heehee... so it is my friend.... lol but darn proud of it... mrgreen I play the clarinet too heart ...And I keep my music "No...I gave that piece back to you already...It's not in my folder so I can keep playing it over the summer..."

you know your a band geek when you have band shirts and you weren't even in the high school band at that time but it was from when your older sister or brother was in high school band.
i did that my older sister was in the band and i alway got a shirt

You know your and band geek when your not in the band yet the band director knows your name and people are asking you when band camp will be.

You know you're a band geek when:
-you spend so much spare time in the band room that people think you live there(guilty)
-you are almost always wearing some type of band shirt(guilty)
-you mark time to music you are listening to and conduct to it in your mind(incredably guilty!)
-reading this post all the way to page 77!

... get upset because you can see the last person in line when you are walking side by side with your friends.
... must suppress the urge to yell "left Left LEFT" at people in WalMart
(and don't realize you are marking time)

These might've been posted.
You know you're a band geek when you accidentally call your band director "dad". [Or mom..]
You know you're a band geek when you're walking with your friends outside of band and realize you're all marching in tempo together. =]
You know you're a band geek when you use marching technique when carrying food trays in restraunts.
You know you're a band geek when you always tap the beat to the drum kadances in random places.
You know you're a band geek when you attack people that confuse the "drum major" with the "drum captain."
You know you're a band geek when you hold drill downs in your backyard [and at all your parties.]
You know you're a band geek when you hold movie parties for the field show you are marching, and to watch "Blast" "Stomp" And "Drumline".
You know you're a colorguard nerd when you're standing around at lunch waving your arms like an idiot and then scream "I Just caught a double!"
You know you're a colorguard nerd when you fix everything with electric tape. =D
You know you're a colorguard nerd when you yell at people for saying "twirl" rather than "spin".

you know you're a band geek when...
-the bd has a row of ppl (including you) bowing and worshipping him
-you call your instument "my precious" and don't let anyone else so much as
breathe on it
-you spend before school, recess, lunch, and after school in the band room
-you conduct the music you're listening to with the pencil you're supposed to be doing your hw with
-the bd stops charging rent and starts charging mortgage
-you treat the recordings of your concerts like play along cds because you've memorized the music...every part
-you and your friends can all switch instruments...clarinet to flute to oboe and back! (but we only lets them touch the rental clarinet...never the precious...)

you know you're a band nerd if...you aren't payin' attention in band class and the BD calls on you to answer a question and you answer uh....and you get it right.(1 e&uh 1 e&uh 3e...) Just think about it .....sad I know.

You know you're a band nerd when a large group of your friends get together and start singing the marching band music, and start singing their parts.
Also....
You know you're a band nerd when you have a dream, and the marching music is the background music.
Also...
You know you're a band nerd when you start to chew in time...with other people...and you all eat in unison....(this has happened many times with my friends at lunch break)
