"Perhaps.. per.. What!?" -His eyes widened in shock as the words settled upon him. Fantastically wonderful words! He'd been gone for Simba.. not learning he was going to be a dad until the day or so before the birth, but now!

A contented murrr, escaped his deep voice, and he had every inkling of the thought, to 'push' his mate from his back, so he could pin and cover her in as much affection as she could handle. Logic and worry for his now 'delicate' love instead brought hist affection to one of those forearms again, nuzzling and licking her soft golden coat.- "When.. how?"

-A soft rumble of a laugh left him however at the how, maybe that wasn't the best question.-

((LOL at Iris xd ))

The adolescent rolled on his back before looking upside down at the cub, a sly grin lacing his features as he saw the 'look' Teule gave him and he playfully mussed the juvenilles small mane.
His attention was then drawn to the little beige cub before his head perked up straight to look over at Yakuti and Taka, with such an array of animals, this would be a journey for him to remember always.
Slowly he stood up on his lean, strong legs, seeming to tower over the two little cub before he gave a fond smile to Jasiri and just listened to them talk.

Sarabi chuckled at his confusion, surprise and excitement. "When? Well, I realized it a little while ago, so it might not be for quite a while yet. But... I can feel them, our precious little cubs." By now the sun had cleared the horizon, shining down on the verdant savanah, warming it after the coolness of night. The lioness released Mufasa and padded to the shore, shaking water from her coat. Laying down in on the dry ground, she began to groom her coat while the sun warmed it. A little movement inside her made her smile, and the purring went on.

((*giggles at Lightning* I know, doesn't Muffy just make THE most intimidating king? Sneaking off to play with the children. Gabbing on like an old man XD I can just imagine what the Firekin king would have said if he'd seen Muffy before he died ))

-Glancing to her stomach with soft care, a look of soft childish awe touching his eyes, he listened as she spoke, watching her in silent serenity as she made her way to the shore. The other lioness' were kind, wonderful creatures.. but Sarabi.. she'd always gave off such a beautiful elegance. And now was no exception as she settled herself comfortably.

Lounging his large body into the water, Mufasa rolled his golden furred self into the cool water, before surfacing with a mighty shake, watching the water driplets rain around him as he did. No quicker had he done it though, his paws were carrying him back up to the bank, where he settled himself near his mate in a state of silent euphoria. He'd been telling everyone that from the destruction of the plague better things could return, and life could continue and circle again. It seemed, as if he'd been right.-

Kimeti had followed the group to the waterhole, keeping himself behind the group as his yellow eyes cautiously looked around. Despite the fact he was with his Uncle and several of the prideland pride he felt jittery. Ears laid back amongst the black of his mane he walked with his head low before they finally reached the water. The breeze floated over it, causing the air to cool slightly but, then again, the air was no where near as hot as it was in the desert.

As Mwali and the others drank before proceeding to frolic in the wetness, Kimeti walked up to the waters edge and looked down into its glassy surface. He sighed as waves and ripples washed up from the others and play and broke the mirror. He lowered his head and lapped up the cool water before retreating several feet from the shore to avoid getting splashed and flopping onto the ground to relax.

Sarabi grinned at the dazed, happy look on Mufasa's face. She licked the last dirt from her paws and rolled over onto her side so that she was just barely touching him. The morning sun's heat seeping deep into her body and she grew sleepy, lids sliding shut over crimson eyes.

((Ohhhh.. pretty new banner Dragonz o.o ))

-Watching her with soft contentment, Mufasa slowly let his mind begin to wander. Many things, what it'd be like to have cubs around mostly, however pausing as a heavy thought set on him, only compounded by a rebellious little rumble of his stomach.

Koho was gone.. Sarabi out of commission if he had anything to say about it.. so who did that leave to hunt.. to lead the hunt? Going gently through his head, sorting the members that were still alive, still could hunt, and preferably had hunted before. He'd probably have to go on this hunt as well himself. Once Sarabi woke he'd set about setting it up, got now though, he lounge instead comfortably, watching over the sunsoaking lioness.-

(( xd Thanks. I've even left a little room there on the right side so I can add pictures of the babies whee I just really wanted a top banner instead of a side banner so I didn't have to keep typing all that code, lol.))

Sarabi tilted her head back to gaze at her mate. "Heavy thoughts, Love?" She smiled serenely, the picture of her reputation as a motherly, kind queen. Her eyes drifted across the savanah, but saw no living creature save themselves. "By the way, where has everyone gone all of a sudden? I'm sure Koho will be over-joyed at the news."

An adolescent female entered the lands. She was rather weak but knew that here was safety as long as no one tried to chuck her out. SHe would have loved to find Maawio but thought that would be rather difficult as she could hardly stand properly.

She dragged herself to some water and drank only when she was sure no one was around. After drinking she felt a little more restored and laid down, her front paws dangeling in the cool water. She raised her head to look around the lands. Suku lived here once didn't he? She thought about it for a while before remebering that he had once lived here. Her thoughts were muddled and her only reason fro coming here was that she knew she had at least one friend around these lands and that it seemed safer then anywhere else.

((Unknown, Muffy and Sarabi are by the water hole if you need someone to play with.))

-Smiling a little to her question, he joked softly.- "More so hungry thoughts, then heavy."

-Following her gaze however, he suddenly remembered all the news he'd intended upon discussing with her, had he not been sidetracked by her sickness.. and then of course, the good news. Sounding a little unsure he spoke rather softly, as if looking for her belated approval.- "Koho... probably won't be back for awhile.."

"A Firekin cub, one who knew the rouge, happened into the Pridelands. And so now the 'red prince' has headed back, taking Koho, and a few of the adolescents along with them. They say they'll be back.. but.. I suppose that's something that I only hope is true." -Pausing softly he turned his gaze back to her.-

((oo ok thankies!))

Bakhti raised herself from the small pool of water she had found and walked on. The scent of different lions made her weary but she was in anothers lands and it was obvious to her that she could be very unwelcome here. She hoped that the lions in the pride were like Maawio and were all nice and sweet though she had only met her and Sukutu.

Her paws moved silently across the ground and the scent of water filled her again. Though the scent of lions were strong. She crawled forward careful not to make a sound. As she creaped through the grasses to the waterhold she spotted two lions. They seemed to be close. She watched carefully from her hiding spot though she longed to lap up some water. This was their landand not hers.

Sarabi's first reaction was, "how could you let them go alone?!" It made her body go tense and her eyes widen. Then another thought occured to her. That would have left the Pridelands unprotected, easy prey for any passing rogue. And besides, Mwali was a full grown lion, while Koho was an excelent hunter. And the adolescents could take care of themselves, if push came to shove. Still, she had misgivings. "Are you sure it was right to let them go? The Firekin are a dangerous clan..."

Bakhti kept low in the grasses, her ears flat against her head as she listened to the lions. She had no idea who they were talking about but the mention of the firekin pride kept her listening. She had started a fight with a lioness from the firekin pride.

Her thirst was annoying her and her throat started to feel itchy. She looked towards the lions and then the water they were busy in conversation they woldn't notice her would they? She hoped not. She crawled forward making as little noise as possible till she reached the edge of the water hole where she lowered her head and drank. Her eyes stayed fixed on the lions hoping they wouldn't notice her.

Haveo walked through the tall grasses quietly yet swiftly. He had been walking for a long time after being separated from the others. His body begged for water but Haveo was still unfamiliar to the vast Pride lands and its heat. The jungle, where he used to live, was humid but purely hot and you could really hear any source of water.

He sat on his haunches panting slightly. He scratched behind his ears feverishly, along with some water he needed a mud bath to get rid of the flies. He growled in his throat and continued forward hoping for find some water and mud.

((W00t! I caught up and koho is back in business!))
Koho sighed, happily relaxed. So many creatures had suddenly appeared and she knew so few of them! The Pridelands was certainly a busy place, and likely to get busier if she had anything to do with it. She smiled secretly to herself, continuing to groom her paws while being careful not to disturb Mwali's resting head. Despite herself a little purr escaped her at the thought of being his mate, he was so perfect, despite how ill he thought of himself. Jasi and Suku, Mwali and herself, everything was just wonderful, too bad they all had to go to the Firekin land and they all knew it was possible some wouldn't come back. She shook her head a slight amount at that thought, hoping to banish it from the forefront of her mind. She didn't want to think of anything like that....

"We should be heading out soon shouldn't we dearest?" She turned her head slightly, though it would be obvious who the comment was directed towards. Through all the hubbub of lost friends returning she didn't want to forget about the necesary journey they had all already agreed to. "It would be best to get moving before dark, then we can rest on the border line one night and head into the desert tomorrow...." A little shudder ran down her spine at the thought of the desert, though she hoped Mwali hadn't detected it, it was his home after all and she knew she had no right to judge it. Her ear flicked back, ready to hear his answering voice.
