And there you go spouting bullshit again! The Cloud we know during the game is NOT Cloud. Aeris knew a version of Cloud, yes, and she loved that version. We know that. BUT once Cloud is back to his normal self, he is no longer the Cloud that Aeris loved. How hard is that to see? NOT HARD AT ALL!

Cloud in the beginning of the game and Cloud later in the game are two COMPLETELY different people. Aeris knew that Cloud and Zack werent the same, but was not allowed the chance to see Cloud when he was JUST Cloud.

Also, how would Marlene know any more about Cloud than say, Tifa or Barret? She doesnt! Their talking is irrelevant in the whole matter! In the game, Cloud sees Marlene for a good, oh, one day. Thats how well Marlene knows Cloud. Everything Marlene knows outside of that day about Cloud came from.....guess who....TIFA!

Now, on your s**t about Cloud "becoming" Zack. I NEVER said Cloud became Zack. I have ALWAYS said he takes on Zacks memories that were shared with Cloud and integrate them into his personality, morphing Cloud into another form of Zack. That is what happened. Deal with it. The memories Cloud took were those that he remembered from Zack telling him stories on their transition from the Nibelham incident up until the shooting, which was a damn lot.

And to finish this off, I never said Tifa knew Cloud any better, but she knew who he was as a kid. She knew his tendencies, even though they werent "close." She knew more than Aeris could ever know, and learned even more while she was in Clouds mind, in which he openly admits that everything he did was for Tifas affection.

Cloud actually recalls his past without Tifa's help. All Tifa does is suggest he remember something regarding her from their childhood. And the only thing he recalls is the fact that he and Tifa never really knew each other that well at all. He recalled a childhood crush that Tifa had never reciprocated, along with feelings of shame and rejection. In fact, Cloud's childhood crush was not even based on a relationship with Tifa at all since he never knew her. Not to mention the fact that a lot can change in seven years, including getting over a crush. Past feelings should not even be considered when discussing current feelings. Expecting Cloud to retain his feelings for Tifa is like expecting a boy in the 6th grade who is very unpopular and has a crush on the most popular girl in school to still retain those feelings for her when he is in college and hasn't seen her or spoken to her for 7 years. It is absurd.

I would also like to point out that Cloud's desperately wanted to be part of Tifa's group. Why was this? Tifa was the most popular girl in town. She had a large group of friends. In fact, I don't remember seeing any other girls in Nibelheim. Was Tifa the only one? Maybe. This would account for her popularity with the boys. And Cloud was no exception. He wanted to be accepted into Tifa's group, wanted to be friends with them. Does this mean he had a crush on Tifa? Perhaps. What boy wouldn't have a crush on a pretty girl, especially if she is the only girl in town? However, it could be that Cloud just wanted to be accepted into Tifa's group, but wasn't actually attracted to Tifa.

Your second paragraph is where you twist words. I merely mention the Shattered Mirror sect and Tifa and you assume that I said "Tifa put Cloud back together again, LOLZ!!1!" If you cant point out where I said that, go right ahead and do so.

Regarding that paragraph though, the entire scene, including Clouds return after two years are all because Cloud would do anything for Tifas affection. He would do anything to keep her safe. He couldnt care less about the other kids in town, it was her that kept him going. She was the reason for everything Cloud had done and would do.

And you say it was never reciprocated, but it was never given a chance to be reciprocated. Cloud never pulled together enough guts to tell her anything until he called her out to the well randomly. After that and after Cloud left, Tifa began to develop feelings for Cloud which grew with time, even in his absence.


To your final paragraph, its a yes and no situation. Cloud only wanted to be with TIFA. He didnt care at all for the other children in town, only for Tifa. He eventually fought everyone in town after he was ridiculed for trying to save the person he cared for most in the town. He couldnt give two shits about anyone in town but his mother and Tifa.

In closing, I find it sad that we have to read between the lines and trust fan-art for your pairing and then you write everything we say off as crap afterwards. Mind you that I used to be a ClAeris fan back in the day around when the game came out. I was damn fond of that pairing for several years. But then as I was playing through again, I was turned by a friend who pointed out the more subtle CloTi references that made a shitload more sense than the massive assumptions necessary for ClAeris.

Its like talking to a brick wall, I swear to god. Im stopping now. I dont even ******** care anymore and I really dont want to see your stupidity here anymore. Its so tempting to abuse my power and ban you, but I wont and Im not even going to block you. Im just going to ignore your ignorance from now on.

And I technically dont need a reason for banning a person, especially in this day and age of the guild. If I were to ban you, I could just cite spam and youre gone, what with the Zero tolerance rule that will be in effect when we re-edit the rules of the guild. Not saying that I would do that, since if I wanted to not see your opinions anymore I wouldve banned you months ago.

Not as much a dictatorship. This has been an idea that has been toyed with for a while and I suggested stepping it up after coming here to the main forum page and got pissed at the mass amount of spam threads. Thus, the Zero Tolerance rule shall be in effect.

Haha, its alright. I have too much fun watching everyone in this subforum post their views of the same scenes with their biased view of their given pairing to ban anyone. As long as flaming and spamming is kept out of everything, there shall be no banning.

I used to clean when I was angry. Then I realised I was always cleaning my friends room and stopped.

I have also recieved the same reaction from friends who wanted to read my Cloud Strife thing that is now a sticky in the Beginners hall.

I was over there all the time, so I knew everything about the room and felt no awkwardness in cleaning it. Dont know why....just kinda did it.

We can, but then more threads of the like spring up. We need to make an example of someone, however harsh that may sound. Spam threads are intolerable for me. Theyre pointless as hell, against the rules, and just take up space. Right now, what we are doing with locking and leaving is laziness on our part really, but it sends a partial message to not create spam threads.

And on the Cloud story thing, Ive gotten all good reviews on it. Noone who voted on it being bad ever spoke up, so their opinion couldnt be heard.
