"Morning sunshine.." Alex had perked up at the sound of heels coming down the hall. His fascination with the casing on pause as it hung suspended between a fingertip and the counter. His forefinger just being to dimple from the pressure. "Have a minute?"

Torment emerged from the closet after an epic struggle of...um, miniscule proportions? After struggling with the box for what felt like an hour and making an abolutely horrid mess of his closet Tor stopped and blinked a few times, then hit himself upside the head with something blunt, for he deserved it. What good is being a mage when you never remember it in the trivial instances?

He donned a fresh set of his normal attire out of the literally thousands of copies of the same and urged the contents of the closet away from him. He stood silently, eyes cast to the floor, arms and legs spread slightly. A resounding snap of his fingers echoed through the closet as the wind kicked up into a tumultous frenzy around him, and then died out. He glanced around, seeing nothing having happened, and tried it again. The tumult started up once again, but when it faded this time Tor was dressed in a sleek black suit and his feathered wings seem to have been pruned and shaped, no longer cute little puffballs but elegant extensions of his form.

He started to make his way for the door when he noticed one of his shoes was still a boot. He shook it a bit, "The hell? Thats...not right." He shook it a bit more and snapped again, nothing happened, "...ok...this is pissing me off." He snapped several times in quick succession and the boot changed from what it was to a fuzzy pink slipper, a flipper, and finally a conservative black dress shoe, though the tips of the laces were pink and seemed to have a bunny rabbit design, though it was black on black. Tor's face twisted up at the shoe, and then he tucked away the pink bits, he'd fiddle with it later. He glanced to the bathroom and noticed it was empty, which caused him to bounce out of the room with a beaming smile, for that meant Kalie was ready to go...hopefully.

Kalie eyed Alex slightly her gaze straying towards 'heaven' then back, her brows furrowing as she weighed what laid beyond the surface for a brief few seconds. "I have plans.."

Alex swept up the casing, depositing in one of several pockets hidden under his worn jacket's outer layer. "Unless I've missed something, I don't see for whom Juliet's heart will break." Then offered an arm while making it quite clear that you got a minute? would involve leaving the house altogether. "Walk with me."

Torment stopped abruptly in the hall as a pinpoint of light sprang into existance in front of him and quickly widened to a violet disk of energy. A surge of energy pulsed outward, quickly contained by an outstretched hand that darted up at the right moment, forcing the energy to disperse. Tor glared at it, wondering what it was before an image came into crystal clarity, his father. And so it was father and son had a small chat.

The conversation was quick and to the point. Tac had a...customer. Tor needed to arrange a meeting with his father. Little was said beyond that. Tac didn't ask about Tor's formal wear, and he didn't tell. Tor didn't ask about the customer, and especially not Cora, and Tac didn't tell. What a lovely father-son relationship the two share.

((*Is impatient.. xp *))

Kalie hesitated, but hearing nothing that could pass for shuffling of feet from up above she gave in and hooked her arm around Alex's. A decision that would have sent the three crones of Greek myth into a gleeful fit of cackling and dancing as they pranced about with a silvery blue thread pulled taut between their knurled fingers...

Alex would take the lead for this dance, his hold on Kalie nothing short of dominating as he led her down the hall. He wasn't wasting any time either, covering the ground between the pair and the front door in a matter of minutes. His hand closing around the knob as he threw it open and pulled Kalie along after him through the waist high blades that appeared, to anyone who couldn't feel the light breeze, to send their last regards in a formal bow to the Phoenix's wife.

Nik seemed bored, in itself, or something like that. He looked bored, though, as he sprawled out on his bed and stared straight up at the ceiling and only moved to blink. Well, that is, until he rolled over and curled in on himself, now staring at the door into his room. As he normally was in his bedroom, he wore nothing but his boxers, and since the door was closed, he didn't need to worry about people glancing in to see him like that. His hair was undone, though still freshly wet, suggesting he had taken a shower recently. Of course, by wet, I mean only damp, as he was accustomed to drying it a little bit.

Tor came abling down the stairs, glancing too and fro, "Hmm...she was just around a minute ago..." His head popped into the kitchen, not seeing her there, which he expected. Not in the hall containing the alcove. Not in the little living room...thing. He stood in the hallway near the alcove, half wondering if she had 'ported off without him, which was unlike her, "Kalie! Where are ya, love?" He could have searched for Kalie in a more magical way, but he really forgot he could...he never had to.

Kalie spun out the door in a rush of wind, her skirt flying around her legs as it twirled back down to earth in rich chocolate ripples. The sharp crack of wood as the door slammed shut, almost deafening as Alex hauled her farther into the fields. Leaving nothing but a singular thin envelope addressed to Nik and the loud thud of wood hitting wood in her absence.

Torment stepped into the alcove and light began to spring up around him, but quickly shifted from a translucent white to a a dirty grey flecked with white as the teleport was put on hold. He had been going to The Prime Material to see if Kalie had already left to the restaurant, but the door slamming had drawn his gaze, as it were. The light lept up around him again, the energies already in use, and otherwise wasted. Mere seconds after it had slammed he was there, though inside. It was a mere point to point teleport, and much of the energy was wasted anyhow, but at least some was put to use. The house wouldn't be quite so upset. He glanced to the letter, extending a hand for it to dart to him. After a quick examination and noticing it was not meant for him, he left it near enough to where he had found it. The door slowly opened for him and he made his way through, his eyes searching for whomever had only recently passed through. Even if it wasn't his love, slamming doors was mean to the house. It may be an inanimate object, but it has feelings too!

To say Alex moved with cause would be putting it mildly. The waves rolled behind him, the surf's foamy peaks lapping at his heals. He would remain agile, his boots firmly planted. He couldn't pin point Kalie's situation but by the smirk he could take a guess. His fingerprints were swelling into red blotches where his hand still griped her arm rather firmly, the other having slipped behind his back for the time being. Fondly stroking a beautiful metallic form.

"I'm curious, what do you have to say for yourself? hm?"

Kalie's eyes were fierce, she was going to be late for dinner. Her heels were now sinking partially into the waterlogged sand and if Alex wasn't careful her forearm would soon bare a black and blue chain of prints.

Matched eye for eye, Kalie stared at him tight mouthed, the sky taking on a dark shade of gray and crackling with the tension flaring to life between the pair. He wasn't worth the choice phrases she could have given.

Tor glanced around at the portal to the lover's home, his eyes finding nothing in the area but a few beasts that devoured the razor grass like kids with candy on Halloween. Torment's gaze was drawn to the dreary skies, his lips cracking to utter one syllable, a name, "Shar." The crimson orb flecked with verdant wisps that was his Brother of Soul flared to life from Torment's chest, pulsing slightly as it spoke, "What now?" Tor held up a hand, "Just stick around. There are never storms over the Quicksilver Sea... Come!" Tor started into a full out run towards the shores, a thin chain of azure light snaking around his right wrist, hidden by his sleeve.
