When he reached the door, Thackery went through it without any attention to any of the details surrounding it. He would probably regret that very soon. [exit] OOC Current HP remaining: 175/215 Steps: 303/300 Character description: Average height, tan skin, black hair, one violet/one lilac eye, thick pointed ears and a fluffy black tail. He's wearing purple and black clothing that is vaguely victorian with heavy greek accents in gold, and is carrying a lot of keys, so he jingles a little when he walks. His left forearm is covered with a large gold cuff.

The panic of falling and having others watch was a wonderful drug when it got movement involved. Temes practically flew up the next sets of stairs without so much as stopping to wonder if she knocked into someone.

A burst of energy came as she reached the top step, bounding up onto it with a grin on her face. She hadn't smiled in a while. It felt nice. It.... was an attempt anyways. End things on a high note. She had nothing left, but she could make the best of what she had.
Taking a breath, and stretching out her wings behind her to try and loosen up her muscles after all that climbing, the dragon trotted forward. Meet the end with a smile. It was the best she could do.

Temes was climbing the steps faster and faster, urged on by something other than the voice. It still hurt to move, like bricks holding her down inside her body, but she just had to keep going.
The memories, everything. He lack of voice, her want of knowing.
The Voice called to her, offering her a Kingdom. Anything to stop, everything to stop, yet onward Temes climbed.
She needed to get to the top, she needed to be there.

Each step felt heavy, like she was being weighed down.

She didn't want to be a king, she never did.
She just wanted her home back, her kingdom, her life.
... or did she? Was any of this real anymore?
All she wanted was her old simple fake life back, but... that was too naive, wasn't it?
No, she had to know the truth, good or bad.
She had to prepare herself for it, no matter what, so she continued her climb, leaving empty promises behind.

The Voice was back, this time with words telling of disappointment. It wasn't saying that it was disappointed in her, only that if she continued onward she would find it for herself, but there was no doubt in the little one's mind.
She needed to continue moving, she needed to stay on course.

Her legs carried her faster, higher, stronger.
