I actually want an Orphie doll too.
We should start up a thread in here, about people who want to nominate someone for a doll, or themselves.
I've always want a Lanzer doll, and finally got one. It's really cute with those Chinky eyes. 4laugh
I couldn't be bothered debating things around here either, because I'm one of those people who gets carried away, and will probably end up blowing someone's head off. So I tend not to go there.

My skin is too thin for real debates, I get hurt too easy to effectively defend something...which is funny. I mean, most of my major will consist of me writing thesis papers which essentially do just that, but it's just me arguing. There would be no one else there to make me feel bad for thinking a certain way.

Some of them are funny people. There was one I read earlier today in the Site Feedback. And this guy was going on about how Mods haven't been logging in for ages. And knocking them rather badly.

Whenever I talk about mods, I feel like I'm kissing up. That being said, I think that given their (lack of) time, numbers, support, resources, and PAY, they do a great job. I cannot stress that enough. Babysitting a million+ kids that like to throw shitfits everyday is no piece of cake. I wish I could help them out more than just the reporting, but the amount of free time I will have in...erm, two weeks onward will be severely limited.
Maybe one day.

Yeah, he was saying how he's tried to contact some Mods, and didn't get replies back, and he tried a few of them. So his argument here was, how come Gaia does not replace the ones that don't log in on a regular basis to answer people's question/Pm's over matter of concern. Or something like that.
I too on many occasions have stuck up for the Mods, because I know that what they do, is a great job. Without them, holding some sort of control over the Gaians, and what we do. This place would be a 'shambles'....I've never had anything bad to say about them. In fact, I praise and acknowledge the great work they do.

I've had to contact mods about important stuff before too, but I usually went and CHECKED WHICH ONES WERE ONLINE FIRST. You have to consider the fact that these mods are real people with real lives, and they very well may be in a different timezone. Expecting instant results is bound to lead to frustration.

When I've needed to contact some of them for something. I didn't have a problem with getting a reply back. They are pretty efficient with what they do.
I guess this guy just didn't understand it all, and how it works.
One of the Mods replied to him to explain things.

Oh snap, sounds like that guy got school'd.
I always get a little upset when a light-hearted discussion turns into a debate, or the OP is aggressive in that way. If I wanted to debate with a kid who thinks they're such hot s**t, I'd go into extended discussion. Which I don't.

Don't worry too much Abbi, if that happens, just walk away and leave it be. That's what I do most times. But if something really really aggravates me, to a point, where I'd boil and get pissed off, then I'd be really rude. But not many see that side to me.
I did that once in my thread, where this girl was quoting my first page and she wouldn't stop. She even called me some names, so I basically just blew it, and told her where to go. I basically told her to get the ******** out, and lots more. It wasn't a nice scene at all.
In about half hour we've got to go to the dentist. Stupid guy made an appointment late at night.
