Glad the shots were done as well Nik rubbed her back lightly, watching Moya pace. That was something else they were going to have to work on, she tensed up too easily when it came to Shilo. He knew the feeling but now that Moya was pregnant again that could be dangerous. Still holding Shilo Nik caught Moya's hand, pulling her to them and wrapping an arm around her. He didn't know how else to make her feel better.

Moya looked at Nik and sighed, relaxing a little as she kissed Shilo on the head. "You were very brave sweetie, I am proud of you." She never remembered her shots, she didn't even believe that she ever had any, but she was as healthy as a horse. "What do the shots do Nik?"
Shilo grabbed her mom's hand as well, trying to make her feel better as well now.
Doc Jane came in with a few papers and a pen. "Alright, these are for you guys to sign and then you can go home. Remember about the check ups and such. Knowing about Moya's blood change might make things a little more dangerous and interesting."

Nodding to Doc Jane Nik took the pen and signed everything, setting it on top of the stack and adjusting Shilo in his arm. "They're immunizations, required precautions. Possibly a rabies shot." He was joking about the last one but still pulled Moya over again, hugging her close. "Let's get you two home now."

Moya nodded and turned to Doc Jane, taking the papers and signing them as well. "Come on then, Shilo looks like she needs a nap now." She smiled softly and took Nik's hand in hers, waving to the Doc. "Thank you for taking good care of us."
Doc Jane smiled and waved back, nodding. "You are welcome. Your family always brings something interesting into my door."
Shilo yawned and rested her head on her dad's chest, her body starting to relax a little more in his arms.

Squeezing Moya's hand he smiled at Doc Jane, leading Moya out and back home as he held Shilo close. Moya was right, Shilo needed a nap. They could all use some relaxing time.

Moya opened the front door for them and walked in herself, looking around her house and sighing. "Nik, I don't know if I can do this again." She looked at him and sighed, not sure what to do.
Shilo yawned and pulled on her dad's shirt. "Bed?"
Moya nodded softly and pointed up the stairs. "Go put her to bed, I'll be on the couch."

Nodding he kissed her cheek one more time, her words gripping him like a snake as he took Shilo upstairs. Instead of taking her to her crib he carried her to his and Moya's room, laying on the bed with her and turning on the stereo, closing his eyes as "Fireflies" by Owl City filled the room like a humming noise. He just wanted to sleep for awhile, see if anything was different. If anyone felt different later on.

Moya sat down on the couch and after a while laid down there, this event actually made her tired. She sighed as she drifted to sleep.
Shilo looked at her dad with worry in her sleepy eyes. "Daddy?"

Opening his eyes again he looked to her, stroking her hair lightly and giving her a reassuring smile. "I'm sorry baby, I just feel like taking a nap too and I figured we could just share the bed." Sitting up he shifted to his worlf form, curling around her and closing his eyes again.

Somehow that made a lot of it better. "I love you too Shilo." Tightening his curl around her he closed his eyes again, letting out a sigh before falling asleep around her. Sometime a few hours later he shifted in his sleep to his human form, his arm around Shilo but his mind still deep in his dreams.

Shilo awoke a few hours later after her dad shifted, very carefully moving out of his arms and getting off the bed, not wanting to wake him. She quietly went downstairs, checking in on her sleeping mother before trotting back up the stairs and into her room, pulling out a few toys to play with. She shifted back and started to play with them, making sure not to put teeth marks in any of them.
The phone started to ring and Moya rolled off the couch to get up. She walked over to the phone and picked it up. "Hello?"
"Great you made it home. This is Doc Jane and I found something interesting in your blood. This child will grow a lot faster then Shilo did... Moya, you will have a baby in just a few weeks and I'm worried that your body might not take it and I want you in for a checkup when you start to get big."
Moya sighed and nodded, forgetting a moment that the doc couldn't see her. "Alright, I'll keep you posted doc."
"Thank you Moya. Goodbye."
"Goodbye." She hung up the phone and sighed, going up the stairs and going into her bedroom, gently getting on the bed and gently shaking Nik. "Nik, Doc Jane just called."

Had it been any other morning Nik would have just pulled her down on the bed and gone back to sleep. But when her words registered he shot up in bed, any sign of fatigue replaced with fear. "Is something wrong, are you hurt? The baby?"

Moya gently put her hands on his cheeks to calm him down. "Shh, its alright, the baby is fine. Doc Jane called to warn us that since my blood is different, we will only have a few weeks until I have it." She gently kissed him to calm him further. "Everything is alright, I promise."

After a moment he nodded and kissed her back, laying back down on the bed with a sigh. Damn, even after sleeping for awhile he was on edge, the idea of anything being wrong scared him nearly to death now. Shaking his head now he pulled Moya down next to him, wrapping an arm around her waist and holding her close.
