We've been saying that for a while.
My friend Mitch loves the Silent Hill games, but he doesn't RP, and I am not a huge fan of them.

Pets leave paw prints ......I don't know them (the games), and it would be nice to have more players. *sighs* Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this place more... desirable... I guess. How can we make it stand out?...... on our hearts.

That I'm not sure of. I would say invite all friends that RP, and try and get them to invite all their friends.
There really isn't no cut clear method to recruiting.

I am thinking of trying a new style of RP that does not rely on each player controlling individual characters but instead on parts of a story to which you have the ultimate decision of giving options of how the story will continue. This way a story can not be bogged down if one or more people are absent. Any thoughts on this I will be glad to hear.
Here is a simple example to follow.
Brian knew stories of something unnatural in these parts but he was lost and scared with no clue on how to get home. Pushing through the trees Brian's eyes fell upon a peculiar cabin that seemed to be in disuse that he had never seen before. Drops of rain begin to filter through the branches of the trees above.
Choose-
Push on ignoring the cabin that gives off creepy vibes.
Go up to the cabin being one of the few shelters nearby.
After you chose a path you, the new master of the story, add on a description of what is going to happen next. Please end all your posts with at least 2 options for the next story teller to chose from and even though no one owns any of the characters of the story don't go randomly slaughtering them with due cause. How does this sound to everyone?

Pets leave paw prints ......I think this sounds like a really good idea! Especially if you have certain boundaries that people can't gross. It would have to be realistic, of course. But I think it sounds like a super fun way to have a story! You can keep it going too! I like it! ...... on our hearts.
