I HATE YOU WITH A PASSION

Roy nodded.

"I'll wait here."

((Message when the dinner part is over lol))

Shin-lu did a small bow, very well. Ilyana hopped onto Shin-lu's back soon after. "Alright! Then let's start off good." Behind Shin-lu's back, Ilyana ripped out a page of her spellbook. A bolt of lightning would suddenly burst down to strike near Isaax's foot, but barely hitting it. Hoping he would be distracted by it, Shin-lu burst forward and wildly swung her two rapiers at Isaac.

Isaac quickly dodged the lightning, blocking Shin-lu's strike with his shield. He then parried her second rapier with his own sword in a downwards arc, followed by a guard break with his shield.

Shin-lu tried to tug back quickly before the shield hit her, but failed, getting pushed back by it. she turned as her guard was broken and Ilyana struck out her foot to kick off the shield and give Shin-lu and her some more room. Ilyana then let loose a fireball to fly towards Isaac as Shin-lu regained her stance.

((Moving this week so I wont be on for a few days.))

((Where are you moving to sir Hate? Oh, and sorry for not posting, I didn't mean to make you all wait!))

Isaac moved his arm with the shield out of the way before Ilyana could kick it off. He jumped back a few feet and quickly used his shield to deflect the fireball back at them. Thinking quickly, Isaac charged at Shin-lu, performing a fake downwards slash with his sword, then giving a swift low kick to her right leg in an attempt to throw her off balance yet again.

You'll never expect what you can't see...

((Sorry all, working on several papers for school, posting will be a bit hectic for me as well the next week or two, as well.))
((Awesome moves with Isaac, M'Lady.))

Dark felt Graff's words like a blade. Even in his frown, one eyebrow sank more than the other. ' 'Acts the mysterious tough guy?' Who does he think he is? Who's acting?' Dark watched the men, as the aggression seemed to escalate from playful to angry. As Roy set up the challenge, Dark readied a fighting stance, one hand over the dagger's blade. Graff delayed the fight. Dark stayed for a moment, until Roy agreed. Somewhat disappointed, Dark was strangely relieved the fight wouldn't take place yet. But this challenge would be an interesting one. For now, Dark lowered his guard and prepared to follow Graff once more.

Siom watched the action as the fight unraveled. Already, things were moving at a fast pace. "C'mon, Isaac!" Siom shouted with enthusiasm. Realizing his bias, he tried to correct himself, "Er.. You too, Shin-lu, Ilyana!" He leaned forward a bit, his eyes intently focused on the field.

Graff watches how Roy goes away "... that guy is weird, sometimes is ok, sometimes its all angry and growling, anyway we deal with him later, now come, lets see what we have to make the dinner..."

Dark nodded and followed Graff into the lounge. There was a strange clicking coming from the back. As the door opened, he paused for a moment and just stood in the entrance of the kitchen - not for the food being prepared, but for who was in there.

Par'il had been grinding the grains. All the bowls sat evenly in a row along the counter - two of the six types of grain already mounded into a fine powder, one bowl currently empty. Par'il currently sat cross-legged on the table with a mortar in his lap. The pestle in his hand moved rapidly in a circular motion, rolling along one side of the clay dish. As the door opened, Par'il stopped moving the utensil and looked up with a smile. "Hello, Graff," he said with a slight bow of the head. Dark's presence confused him. He was certain Dark wouldn't have come. Still, the man was here, standing in the doorway, unmoving. Par'il nodded again, "Hello, Dark." His tone was softer with Dark's greeting. Par'il then looked back down and continued grinding.

Dark ignored the greeting. He merely observed. As Par'il started up again, the quick tapping of the pestle on the mortar was rather annoying. Click, click, click, click, click, click... He tried to drown it out... but it was a futile attempt. Still, he did not wish to be a cause of a fight at the moment. Dark finally turned to Graff, "So... what needs to be done?"

Graff greets Par´il "ahhh you already started Pari`il, good good, that gonna save us a lot of time" Graff hears Dark questioning him "ah... well, choose a dish, something that you want to cook and just do it, thats what all of us are gonna do, its gonna be a very big dinner lots of dishes, lots of foods to taste..."

((sorry for the wait ^^;; ))

Ilyana easily dismissed her own fireball, but Shin-lu began moving, so she held on instead of preparing another spell. Shin-lu had fallen for the fake slash, trying to move forward with both rapiers to try and get under the sword, when out of the corner of her eye she saw the kick. Her halfling reflexes were able to get her to quickly shift her legs, the kick barely touching her, still getting her unbalanced, but not by much. Shin-lu tried to thrust her rapier from under Isaac's sword, Ilyana casting another spell then, this time ice forming on the rapier's blade, making it sharper, sturdier, and longer as it tried to poke at Isaac.

((Lol, nice combo Presea.))

Dark's eyes shifted and twitched in small movements, following the back and forth actions of the pestle. Fianlly, Par'il stopped, and set down the mortar of flour. Focusing back on Graff, he questioned, "Like what? Veal? Venison? Pork? Or would you prefer a pasta? Either way, it's still morning. Unless we have to hunt for the animal, the dish would only take an hour or two to prepare."

Par'il set the ground grains beside him and stood up from the table. He turned to pick up the mortar. Dark began listing off his meals. Par'il shuttered. He shook his head and continued what he was doing prior as if he hadn't heard a thing. He carried the mortar to the empty bowl, neatly pouring the powdered grains into the semi-spherical container. Again, rinsing the mortar quickly and drying it with the same towel he had been using, he poured one of the two wheat bowls in the mortar and began repeating the action.

Graff pats Dark back "... dont worry, the kitchen was fully stocked the last time I saw, you can make almost anything you want, if you want to make your dish later you can do it, take a walk, sleep a while, or help me to arrange the tables, maybe you could go out and pick up some flowers and such... this has to look like a party remember?"

((Sorry for not posting, I've had a very busy weekend.))
Isaac quickly moved out of the way as Shin-lu's rapier was covered in ice. He swung his sword in a downwards diagonal arc in an attempt to block her rapier from hiting him. Thinking fast, Isaac charged at her again, jumping to the left as he gave a swift kick to her opposite leg while thrusting his shield out to try and throw her off balance.
