((note, as I noticed the earlier talk of character heights, Alexandria is 5'8 ish. )

The young woman's eyes lit up at the mention (and sound) of the weapon.
"Cannons? They have cannons on this ship?" She could hardly suppress the excitement in her voice. Her mind was flooded with ancient navel weaponry images, though she had a feeling that cannons on an airship would be different than cannons at sea.
"Perhaps the captain will be near the guns?"

"unnngghh...." Yousha moaned, he sat up abruptly and scratched his head, his feet still stuck in the starfish position.

"maaaan.. a'v been 'ere fur wit... a couple'a hours and av already blown summin' up" he sighed as he took finagles hand which he used to prop himself up, then staying in a squatting position he took out his wrench and scratched his neck with it..

"a' 'unno mate, tha's wut a wus gunna dae" he replyed to his question about the captain's quarters.

"whit ye lookin' fur 'im for anyways?" he asked curiously....then having the feeling he was being watched he turned to see 3 other people standing a couple of meters away from him. He looked back at Finagle
"who're they?" he questioned him again.

(Ava is about 5'2 and still growing)

Ava's gaze fell on the crispy looking man picking himself off the floor.
"Oh, that's where the explosion came from." He seemed alright since he was talking to the other guy standing next to him, but still.
"Are you alright?" She called over. The sheer amount of explosions she'd been whitness to since she boarded this ship, was assurance enough for her that her life wouldn't get boring here amongst what she had been worried was a group of respectible people.

She raised a hand in greeting, and looking back at the golden clank, Aexadria dressed like a lady asking excited questions about guns, and the dark elf, she smiled. She was probably going to like her new life here. Ava stepped towards the burt man to see if he would need any help.

"huh?" yousha looked back round, not getting up from his crouching position, he pushed one side of his goggles up with his wrench revealing one sharp emerald eye

it was a young girl, a bit smaller than him, but she didn't look any older than 16, but her choice of outfit intruiged him.

"yer a bit wee te be runnin' about an airship in't ye?" yousha raised the revealed eyebrow and pouted slightly, lookin her up and down.. but the expression was soon lost when his head twitched in its usual odd fashion.

he sprang up straight and stretched out, standing at 6' tall.

"am' fine a guess, who're you?" he asked bluntly, lifting up the other lens of his goggles to reveal his other eye and adjusting them straightly on his messy hair.

~ hold ~

At the sound of the explosions, Triskadeca turns swiftly around to Myles, who doesn't even open his eyes as he says, "Don't tackle me again, once is enough for today."

Triskadeca stops, hesitates, then stands at attention between Myles and the corridor.

((Myles is 5'6". Sylvian Bruno is 5'2. Tris can stretch a bit.))

Alexandria couldnt help a smile from creeping across her face. This was getting very interesting! She nodded politely to the crispy man with the strange accent when he had looked over at them, hands clasped before her.

Suddenly she gasped. "My bags! I'd nearly forgotten!" And promptly rushed off past the group and down the hall to the shelf where she had left her belongings. They had, of course, fallen to the floor. Quickly gathering her things she rushed back to the congregation in the hall hoping they'd not gone anywhere. She now had in one hand; a duffel-bag filled with clothing and carefully rolled cartographs she had drawn of the coastline, and in the other, a heavy latched wooden box with a thick leather cord tied around it.
"Oh its so heavy..." Alexandria thought for a moment, "But I'm sure I'll find a use for them." She glanced from the box up to the others.

yousha blinked, another woman had gestured too him, and then rushed off, then hurrying back with a large peculiar wooden case. he directed his attention to a large caliber shell he was twidling in-between his fingers that he'd removed from one of the bullet belts slung around him. his other arm was scratching the back of his head bluntly with a wrench, one eye now closed as he tried to satisfy the itch on the back of his skull underneath his thick messy hair.

((crispy? O_o))

((How convenient to have had computer issues >.>))

{corridor/hold}
Alex stepped into the deserted main corridor, catching the faint movement of a passing boot heel out of the corner of his eye, apparently a passenger leaving the corridor, or crew. He shrugged as he glanced around the room, having made up his mind that he would follow the direction of the passing heel, for if he meant to speak to crew, or to any one for that matter, then at least he knew someone would be in that direction. He took one more quick glance before turning and following in the said direction, arriving in the ship's hold amongst a fair small gathering.

((crispy was used previously : D))

Alexandria stared absently at the wall. She set her box down on the floor, shaking her arm out from holding its weight, and let her other bag rest atop it.

Meanwhile, Martha took out her mirror again and made sure that everything on her person were at their proper place. All she wanted was to finally meet the captain and perhaps to be employed on the ship. "If I ever consider employement, looking like a Irish monkey is definately out of question."

The dark elf then adjusted the ornated buckle resting on a strap across her shoulder.

"So, you two ladies are looking for employment as well..." Martha trailed asbent-mindly.

((as did I ^^ ))

"I think I will, at least. No sense being out in the world without something to occupy one's time..and wallet." Alexandria smiled brightly. This elven woman was very interesting; the entire ship was very interesting.

"So..where should we look to find the captain, would you suppose?"

Alexandria shrugged off her long duster and stuffed it into the depths of her duffel-bag. Her shirt underneath was creamy white with delicate black embroidery around the collar and sleeves. Her corset was deep grey with faint pinstripes running its length. She had made sure to put her corset on the outside of her shirt, as this seemed to be they way they were worn outside of her previously rather structured life. "Much more interesting this way, really..." she had thought happily.

((OCC: @Audaxity: Martha seems to look like a know-it-all, but can't make the difference between Scottish and Irish people. Her attitude and actual ineptitude are the reasons why she got fired of her former job.))
