Roy was now going to cast enough spell, as he put his hands outward and felt the energy being used, he couldn't believe the power of Kikyo for himself. He had never had a chance to fully use it. Roy could 'see' oni just as Oni could track Roy, but Roy didn't trap them in darkness for nothing. He was always planning. "Say goodnight Oni" would be the last thing Oni would hear as Oni would feel his ear's ringing before nothing but silence. Oni's would also loose Roy's scent. "Total Darkness" Neither Roy nor Oni would be able to see, hear, or smell. Roy waited for Oni now.

"Hiding in Kikyo's shadow?"
It was only after he spoke that he realized that he couldn't even hear his own words and that Roy's scent had disappeared as well. Roy just wasn't hiding in Kikyo's shadow, he was using her powers to hide. Oni would let out a silent roar as his eyes went pitch black like the aura surrounding him as his eyes began to scan his surroundings once again. Spirit with your strength I can overcome any obstacle put in my way and this match will be no different. With your control over the elements combined with me this darkness is as clear as day now that I tap into your power.
Oni wanted to dismiss Nishi and Asa and summon two other spirits to help him fight but with the sound being nullified he couldn't change spirits. So that left him with one course of action, fight Roy head on as his vision pierced through the darkness with his control over all elements including darkness and shadows Roy's tactic was about to backfire.
As Oni charged towards Roy he would hold his scythe down beside him as it would have begun to glow if the darkness wasn't so overpowering. He was charging the blade of his scythe with highly focused lightning strong enough to slice through anything in it's way backed up by the power and technique that Oni held would make it an even more deadly weapon. As Oni neared Roy he would stop and spin his lower body and his upper body as he put all his momentum into one upward swing. The blade of the scythe was aimed to slice Roy's torso in two from hip to shoulder. Would Roy be able to see the attack coming and dodge or would it all be over with this one attack?

Oni's attack would indeed hit. Oni would be able to feel his wepaon cut through Roy like butter. Roy never should a chance, hiding like a coward has never paid anyone off. Suddenly Oni would feel some odd liquid splash on him and his weapon. It would begin to burn like acid if this happened. Roy's body halves would fling at Oni now, as they were covered in nightshade. He had used one of Kikyo's deadliest moves taught to her by none other than Morik, a shadowmancer!
The nightshade would ooze and threaten to quickly consume Oni in a terrible fashion eating away his life energy while at the same time bring him even closer to the darkness. His blind attack had backfired on him. The nightshade would now begin to swirl with the darkness and if Oni wasn't quick, he would be pulled into an endless void, lost for all eternity. Where was Roy? Roy was there of course, but how did he know Oni was coming? Easy, the total darkness technique didn't take away the ability to feel. Roy would be still, and won't move a single muscle til he knew where Oni was. Oni running towards Roy would give him away.
As soon as Oni was close enough for Roy to feel his vibrations, since that was what he was putting everything into his father focused on in battle, the ground. At that moment, out of the overwhelming shadows, a copy of Roy would appear directly in front of him just before Oni swung his weapon allowing Roy to jump back and land, sliding away using his flame burst.

Lillium looked over at Lance and shook her head. "Stop, he needs to prove that he's ready to take on this realm. This is his initiation. If he's not ready, then he will fall. This is his battle." She looked over the horizon and watched as the darkness started to spread around them. "You can't keep babying him. If he's to continue Hell's legacy, then he's going to have to prove it. I'll be damned to serve under someone who needs help on a battle he started, and needs to finish."

Kestral grasped the document in his hand, feeling the worn parchment as his clenching fingers crumpled it's center. His teeth gritted and his brow furrowed with sweat.
The light was gone.
Sound was void.
Scent was nigh.
Fury was absolute.
Kestral decided that he would carry out the deeds asked by his two potential superiors. He held his hand in front of him, casting a sphere of Light. The light glowed only about one inch outside of it's epicenter, the bleak shadows swallowing it's harrowed glow before it could light the area. Kestral held up his other fist, creating a sphere of Darkness. Darkness that was actually visible against the black of the shadows around them. Darkness so dark that it almost felt unholy. Kestral then forced a portion of his own Silver Energy into both spheres, immediately forcing them together as he did so.
The result was an invisible, glowing, golden sphere of energy which Kestral ripped in half and sent flying out about fifty yards in both directions. Once they both achieved this distance, the two hemispheres exploded and released the liquid-esque, yet entirely solid, and incredibly deadly Ultima Energy. This transformed and fused towards the top and sides, catalytically energizing the particles between it's own supercharged molecules. Kestral had created a one hundred yard, nearly lethal barrier around all three of the warriors. If either of the fighters were knocked into the barrier, their life force would be attacked relentlessly by one of Kestral's most powerful Legendary Elements.
Kestral would watch closely, making sure to release the energy before it overpowered it's victim, leaving them completely incapacitated, but still alive.

-Light, I have a spell for you.-
A single voice pierced into the darkness of Light's consciousness. Lucas, Light's angelic proxy was busy studying the angelic book of spells while the real angel himself was busy in this realm. Their minds were connected and would serve well in this dark hour.
-Serenity Rain. Here...- As if Light knew the spell himself, he began to repeat after Lucas while channeling what little energy he had left. Suddenly a small flash of energy splashed up and poured back down upon Light and Kono like rain. This downpour of holy energy would wash away the chaotic energy over Kono as well as give him and Light a small percentage of their energy back. However in their critical states the energy would simply keep them going. Light was not honestly sure how much longer Kono had alive but the time had been extended. Even if it was by seconds.
"Phew..." Light grunted and groaned as he stood up. He couldn't tell what was broken but he knew his body wasn't happy. All he felt was a massive headache and piercing sensations pulsate throughout his body. Was he moving on adrenaline now or had he simply put mind over matter? Whatever the case was, Light would grab Kono by the ankle and start dragging him onward while sending out small and weak waves of infrared energy. Although blind, Light was not ignorant. The darkness hindered his vision but he did not need eyes to see.
(( Crap post until I can write up a decent one...hopefully I'll get to it by tomorrow or tonight. -___-; ))

Kono would begin to wake, but instantly felt weak and in tremendous amount of pain. he couldn't move even with Light's extra energy. Kono couldn't see either, aside from the fact he was already blind. "Where am I?" he asked so weakly, before passing out again.

".....You're safe. We'll be home soon."
Home...Light didn't really mean it to be his home as well but what creature would not be comforted by the sound of "home"? Well whatever, Light probably wasn't making Kono feel better by dragging him along by the ankle anyway. It's not that he could carry him right now anyway. Hopefully he could make it to Heaven before it was too late.
"I suppose it would help..." Light spoke to himself as he sighed and pointed a finger up within the darkness. Soon a dim light would emanate from his finger, illuminating their surroundings so that Kono could see just where he was being dragged out from. Light did not know that Kono had slipped back into an unconscious state but again it didn't much matter at this point.
The walls were actually crafted stone? It looked like Light and Kono had been trapped within ruins of what looked like a part of Heaven itself. Carvings of celestial beings and laurels, rays of light shining down upon praying people, saints and prophets with halos around their heads, and of course other religious or holy symbols were scattered about. Statues of winged beings were broken and cracked as they either hung from the walls or were sticking up from the ground, buried. The ground had patches of white floor, mostly hidden by mud and murky water. Perhaps this underground cavern was actually some forgotten gate to Heaven?
"Let's go with that..."
Light finished his thoughts out loud while cleverly disguising his ponderings with observation. There was a giant door before them now, cracked and broken as if something or someone had-perhaps literally- raised hell. The angel would reach the door and push against it weakly but it was as if his very presence could move mountains.
"Hum.." That was wrong, Light wasn't the one who had the influence over this door. It had to be Kono. He was the leader of Heaven afterall? It would make sense if he merely needed to step up to the gates to be welcomed. There was no further thought to entering aside from showing up. Light and Kono would be bathed in a bright and of course ethereal light as a forgotten gate of Heaven opened up to take in it's leader and the rogue celestial.

Both Kono and Light would be moved through a blinding opening, it was indeed a long forgotten passage used once by the original leader of Heaven, Lanerkin. The moment the light subsided, they were in the middle of a glorious kingdom, massive and protected with all of it's holy power. A city of white, a city of light. Light would instantly feel his strength come back to him, if not triple it's self. Kono was standing up next to Light, when the rainbow rings would stop glowing around them, millions of angels would look and greet them.
Archangels quickly advanced and pointed their swords at Light, each one of them having powers beyond anything Light could imagine. There were no records of Light anywhere, and these angels knew everyone among their holy place. Suddenly, Kono's eyes opened, but still so weakly as he raise his hand up in front of him. His eyes barely had life in them. How was that possible, in his vary home he was dying this. The reason why, without Kite, his other half there was no stopping his death, only delaying it. "Stand...." He would cough "Ssss... Stand down...please...", the moment he said that, their swords were withdrawn as Kono himself fell to his knees. He was so weak, the damage brought to him by Dom was much more than any eye could see. Kono would then fall forward on his face.
Everyone was in shocked, and silence fell over everyone. Heaven had grown weak, and to finally see their leader return in his current condition was far too much for anyone of them to handle. The archangels immediately rushed over and all reached to grab Kono, who was nothing but dead weight now. Ten of them grabbed Light, in not in a gentle way either. His hands would tied quicker than lightning striking the Earth. Light was forcefully put on his knees as a magic enchantment was placed on him. He wasn't able to use any of his powers since they were now sealed and locked.
"Don't move him"
Said one of the angles rushed through the crowd and reaching Kono. "Let him rest, place him down....please."

"Geh, get your hands off of me..."
Light tried to struggle but knew he would not make it out in one piece if he truly had tried to. There were simply too many angels to deal with...that and as he was being sealed of his powers while forced to the ground?!
"Damn it...." Light despised the angels for the longest of times. Having not truly being an angel to begin with he felt his angelic traits were more of a curse than a blessing. It was an unwanted gift as he was originally human. The gift of an ageless life with supernatural abilities were things to be dreamed of...however that was all at a time where he was naive to his purpose.
".........."
Light's eyes gazed intently at the angels, his blue eyes showing a fierce resolve and an unshakable will. That was one thing that the angels could not bind down...Light's spirit was as strong as ever. If he had to fight he would...but he was here for a much more important purpose.

"He is one of Cruix's spies!"
"He must have done away with Kite and brought Kono's body here to show how merciless Cruix is!"
"How dare he lay his hands on Kite!"
"Who is he?"
"He can't be angel, his hands are stained with blood!"
The crowd was quickly silences by the higher ups. One of the angels looked at Light, staring into his eyes. "Let him go...", was all he spoke. The crowd was shocked. The angle stood up and walked away from Light, breaking the seal with a snap of his fingers. Who was this angel, the commander. No he was someone who has looked over the higher ups for far too long to be a leader or anything close to that. He was an elder. The archangels picked Light up to his feet while he was still tied.
The elder lifted his hands up towards the crowd "Silence all of you, you should all be a shamed of yourselves! Unspeakable actions, how dare you act amongst yourselves in such a matter. Do not taint this holy kingdom with such disgust." He lowered his hands. "Calm yourselves, no normal beings or a members of Cruix knows how to use this portal, nor has anyone in the last thousand years." He turned around to face Light. "Where is Kite?", he asked even though he already knew, judging by Kono's condition. "I am sorry..." He closed his eyes, a tear began to roll down his cheek. He had known Kite, and knew all too well of what he had went through. He would kneel down towards Kono's body pulling out a scroll and placed it on Kono's chest. He moved his hands with such technique and skill.
Kono's eyes opened, he was smiling but why. What did the elder do? Kono didn't try to get up, he smiled looking at the elder. "I failed... him...", the elder would just shhh him and beg of him to relax and save his breathe but what needed to be said wasn't going to to be held back. Kono would explain to the elder and the archangels the situation, that was it was indeed Cruix who has assassinated most of the higher ups and some of Heaven's superior warriors. That Cruix had plans to gather the people of Earth and steal their faith, but the purpose was still unclear. He revealed who the two members of Cruix were. Only the elder, Light, and the archangels would be able to hear while the crowd was kept away.
The two members of Cruix were indeed Morik and Inferno. However Kite and Kono's information wasn't all up to date. Morik had been dead, and killed off by one of his own, Dom. Cruix had a new member who has yet to be discovered, Steed. He told of Light's good deeds and the vision he had before advancing to look for Inferno who was now known as Dom. He would then look over at Light and point at him revealing Light's destiny. Those around Kono and Light would be shocked, but the reason was there. The elder could see what kite saw in Light. At that very moment, Kono's eyes would shut, never to open again. He was only granted to ability of sight for such a short time in the end. The next in charge was the Commander, which wasn't present either.
The responsibility was now before Light. The elder would raise after putting Kono's hands on his chest.
"Will you lead us?"

"....." Regaining his posture, Light glanced to the archangels and the elders. Now having such a big crowd was a bit overwhelming to take in...to hold his focus on the situation, Light closed his eyes and knelt back down to show a decent amount of respect to the holy beings before him.
"Kite, although I did not know him I knew of him. I have seen things..the fall of this realm as well as the ones before and beyond. I can only do what I feel is right. The struggle will be great and the cost high..."
Light would glance up to the elders again and nod, knowing the weight he would have to carry upon his shoulders. The single fact that he would need to build a solid trust with Heaven alone was tremendous. Odd how of all the times he cursed this place he was now standing before it to lead it. The irony was almost too perfect.
"I will lead you." He would finally answer, genuinely honest with his response. It was at that time would he truly feel the power of Heaven surge through his being as well as the power the archangels held. Light knew a lot of work would have to be done.
