Kirara smiled, standing up as well. She then remembered something and looked to the pregnant miko. "Would you like me to fly you over there? It would be a lot easier on you because of your 'condition'..." She suggested, only wishing to be helpful.
Lum blinked down at the child, biting on her cheek in protest of stooping down to his level. Even though she was a lot older than him, she basically had the mind-set of a kindergartner, well, for the most part. So if a child dared question her, she would just break down and begin yelling at them like she was their age. "Well I...only 'cause he cheated first!" She retorted quickly, pointing at Roy now.
"I thought I already introduced myself to you?" Rosette questioned as she stopped for a moment and tapped her index finger against her chin, trying to remember. "Yeah, I'm almost positive I did. But in any case, I'm Rosette Christopher!" She exclaimed to Edward once more, giggling cutely all the while.

as soon as Rosette mentioned his fangs, he immediatly slapped his hand to his mouth in embarrasment. "Oh, i'm sorry! Forgive me!!" He said to the child, hoping he didn't scar the child for life. "I hope I didn't scare you too much! I swear, I rarely drink blood!" He said, trying to re-assure the child.

"I doubt you could prove if I cheated." Akihiko said smirking to Lum as she yelled.
"Don't drag me into this Lum." Roy told his fiance looking at both of them.

Hotstreak faltered, caught off guard by Hitomi's reaction, but even more caught off guard by the burns on her arms.
Gear, on the other hand, rushed over to her side, putting a hand on her back. "Hey, it's okay..." he tried to soothe.
"Th... This is your fault!" Hotstreak decided, pointing at Gear.
"What, me!? What did I do?"
"I'm no hero; I just got pulled in when the gods here or whatever brought you here!" the older metahuman explained. "If you hadn't attacked me, I wouldn't even be here!"
"You gotta stop blaming other people when you lose your cool," Jack began, butting in on the conversation. "You lost your temper earlier, and you burned her. You lost your temper now, and you made her cry."
"S-stay out of this!"

The little girl on Deidara's back and te little boy clinging to his leg both whimpered and clung tighter when Minato came at Deidara.
Deidara lifted his leg so that he could pry the little boy off his leg and in one arm before repossitioning the girl so she was in his other arm. "Don't point weapons at a person carrying kids, hmm. They're scared enough from the volcano and all that's been going on, hmm." He then heard one of the girl twins scream and saw the girls run down the road with th boys chasing after them. Deidara growled and gritted his teeth. "What did I just say, hm!?! Stop it you two, hmm!" He then took up, catching up the the kids that had run ahead of him and trying to get them headng more towards the center of town.
Kikyo smiled gently. "If it is not too much trouble for you..."
Ed shrugged. "Eh. Can't remember. With al the reconstruction, the race, and you falling through the floor, it's kinda hard to remember what all has happened today. Oh! But I do remember you owe me my next three meals." He smirked as he heard the older of the two boys snicker slightly.

Minato sighed as he spun the Flying Thunder God on his right index finger. "Why would someone like that actually care for kids?" He muttered watching him chase kids.

Lum almost glared at the boy, but stopped to regain her cool. "Well...are there any other games you want to play? Or should we escourt you back to the hospital, you're parents must be getting worried about you..." She said as she looked away from both Roy and Akihiko, her arms crossed over her chest.
Rosette was about to say something to Ed before Alucard made the younger child scream again, him saying something about not sucking blood for awhile. "Alucard! Stop it!" She exclaimed lightly as she bouncing the smaller boy in her arms and she whispered sweet things in his ear, trying every way that she knew how, to make him stop crying. She then looked back to Edward and narrowed her eyes at him in a playful yet cute way. "Only 'cause I let you win..." She said with a grin, laughing as she did so.
Hitomi covered her ears as she tried to block out their yelling from their mind. There was just too many voices. Too many angry, yelling voices for her to think properly. "STOP IT!" She cried as she stared up at Jack and Hotstreak, mostly at Hotstreak. "Please...no more yelling, no more fighting...I just can't take it any more...I just can't!" She exclaimed as she sprung to her feet and ran off, tears streaming out behind her. She didn't know where she was going, she just knew that she just had to get away.
Kirara shook her head lightly, smiling the entire time. "No trouble at all Kikyo!" She exclaimed as she took a few steps back and was then engulfed in a flurry of flames. She was no longer in her human form, but rather in her beast form. She padded over to the pregnant miko and nuzzled her for a moment before she crouched down onto the ground low, so it wouldn't be too difficult for her to climb on.

Roy stood where Lum was looking at him and smiled. Then he turned to Akihiko again and told the boy, "Yes I think you ne-" before he was cut off by Akihiko walking away towards the hospital. "Well goodbye then."

Deidara eventually got the kids to where Gear, Jack, and Hotstreak were The two sets of twins ran around the three, yelling and laughing loudly as as Deidara dropped to his knees and let the two younger kis down before de-braiding his hair (thanks to th little girl). "Remind me never to have kids of my own, hmm. I can't remember ever being this tired, hmm. It's almost like being with Tobi again, only worse, hmm."
One of the twin girls screamed again before the other one got prave and grabbed a handfu of dirt and through it at the boys. The boys yelled and rubbed their eyes, dropping the bugs, and grabbed dirt and threw back. Of course, this started a dirt fight between the two girls and the two boys as the younger ones stayed close to Deidara.
Oomizu had been walked towards where hitomi had been when she saw her run off. She clicked her heels together and flew over to her, comming to Hitomi's side. "What's wrong? Are you hurt? Can I help you some how?"
Ed laughed. "Sure! Keep telling yourself Rosette." He saw the little boy crying and looked around before he saw a big chunk of metal laying on the ground. He said something about waiting a sec before setting the father down carefully and trotting over to the metal scrap. He jogged back and kneeled down to the crying boy's level. "Hey, wonna see something cool? I can take this ugly piece of metal and turn it into a horse! Wonna see it?"
Kikyo smiled before getting onto Kirara's back carefully. "Thank you Kirara."

((Thunderstorm looks like it might be heading this way, so I don't know how much longer I'll be on.))
Gear marched over to Hotstreak, not wanting to shout in front of children. "You see what you're doing? Do you see how acting like an idiot can hurt people?"
"I-It's not my fault if she can't handle a little shouting," Hotstreak persisted, turning away from him. "Now buzz off, you're starting to really bug me."
"I dunno," Jack replied to Deidara, ignoring the others. "I think they're kinda cute. Probably would drive me nuts, but they're definitely amusing to watch."

"What a peculiar child.." Lum said as she watched the boy walk off, letting out a heavy sigh as she did so.
Rosette glared at Edward even more now before she just rolled her eyes, smirking a tad as she did so. She then set the boy down next to his brother, keeping a motherly grip on the younger one as she smiled down at him.
"Horsie?" The younger boy questioned with an innocent look about him on his cherubic face. "Um...yes pweeze..."
Hitomi then stopped running, panting heavily as she fell back against a wall, continuing to cry. She then looked over at Oomizu lightly before she slumped to the ground, bringing her knees to her chest as she cried into her arms. "Hotstreak is such a jerk!" The elder girl practically screamed at the top of her lung, her throat started to hurt her only slightly.
Kirara gave a soft snort, like saying that she was welcome before she took to the air, making sure that the journey was a whole lot easier and safer than usual, only for Kikyo would she do this.

"I can agree to that." Roy said with a smile as he watched the boy walk off as well. Then he turned to Lum and quickly kissed her on the lips.

Deidara snorted and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, sure, hmm. If I wanted to go through this sort of torture I'd just go home and go back to being partnered with that idiot Tobi, hmm."
Ed looked up to Rosette and smirked. "What's with the look? I'm just trying to cheer the kid up." He held the metal up as he sat down and looked the kid in the eyes, trying to smile as warmly as he could. "Alright now. Keep your eyes on my hands." He held his metal arm, palm up, with he piece of metal siting on top of it before he clapped the other one on top of it. A bright flash came from between his two hands, and when he lifted his normal hand up the was a small, silver-looking carousel horse, complete with ribbons and all sorts of other ornate decorations that you would see on a carousel. He held it up by the winding pole in front of the little boy. "Here. You can have it. Be sure not to break it, 'kay?"
Oomizu kneeled down by Hitomi and frowned. "What happened?" Since Hitomi was already here, Oomizu took the liberty to finish healing her arm, fixing everything completely and even managing to make her arm look as though it never had been scarred.
Kikyo balanced herself so that way she wouldn't fall off, but knew Kirara was also being extra careful. She looked at the town below and sighed. "Seems we still have much to do to recover this town, huh, old friend?"

Lum, who wasn't expecting the kiss so soon, just stood there, slightly frozen as it all happened. She blinked at him for a moment before closing her eyes, kissing him back eagerly now.
Hitomi sighed, trying to calm herself down now. She watched how Oomizu healed her arms, happy that she didn't have to live with those horrid reminders of her past mistake. "It's just like..." She whispered as she stared down at the ground in front of her. "Every time I try to be nice and help someone, I always get hurt. And especially with him...it's like he doesn't even appreciate me at all...he's just like...a jerk about everything..." She told the younger girl, wiping away her tears as she did so.
As the kid watched his hands with awe, Rosette just watched Ed. She found this barely younger boy most fascinating, and let's face it, kind of cute. She giggled gently as she watched the boy take the horse into his hands, hugging it into his chest. At his cute thank you, Rosette smiled, taking the younger boy up into his arms, smiling down at Ed as she did so. "Thank you Edward..." She said in a voice just above a whisper before she kissed his cheek, trying to be polite about it.
Kirara only snorted again, nodding her head towards the miko in agreement. As the town square became closer, she began to descend slowly, but not making any sudden movements that might startle Kikyo, or injure her in any way. But she soon landed and crouched down once more, so she could slip off of her back with ease.

"I dunno about this Toby guy," Jack began, with a shrug of his shoulders. "But at least a kid you can send to his room, right?" he added, with a grin.
"No, I'm not gonna let you just brush this one off!" Gear persisted, sidestepping so that he was back in front of Hotstreak. "She was just trying to be nice to you, and wake you up before another building fell and almost crushed you, again!"
"Step off, pipsqueak!" the redhead all but snarled, pushing Gear back.
"Do I have to step in, again?"
