"I didn't get hit with anything," Jack replied, still monkey-like. With a glance back at Hotstreak, he added, "Although he might have a couple scrapes... Don't think so, though, really."
"Is everyone alright!?" Gear asked, upon arriving.
"Is there an echo out here?" Jack couldn't help but tease.

Hitomi looked from the primate-like Jack to Hotstreak, glancing him over, analyzing the injuries he received from being passed out during a very critical time. She sighed as she heard Jack's next comment, rolling her eyes as she smirked. "Yeah, we're fine. Hotstreak's still passed out though...we should really wake him up, before something else tries to kill 'em..." She suggested to the spandex-clad teenager. "Do you know how we can wake him up Gear?"

"Um... Not really," Gear confessed, with a shrug. "To be honest, we were never all that concerned with waking him back up, before... Just taking him down, and handing him over to the police to get him locked back up."
"I'll fix this," Jack practically bragged. "Jack-Bots!" At his shout, two robots swiftly appeared, seemingly from nowhere. "Cool, cloaking device is working even better than I planned!" he commented. "Right, one of you keep a hold of this guy 'til he wakes up," he instructed, jabbing a thumb at Hotstreak's unconscious form. "Make sure he doesn't get crushed, alright?"

Hitomi nodded to Gear with a smile, almost forgiving him for not knowing. She then looked to Jack as well as the new Jack-Bots that had just appeared from seemingly nowhere. She blinked for a moment or two before looking down to Hotstreak. "I think I could make him wake up with my psychic powers, but I honestly don't want to get burned again..."

"Probably a good idea to wait and let him wake up on his own, then," Jack advised.
"Hey, I could make a lotion to help with those!" Gear suggested. "Shouldn't take too long to analyze what kinds of plants around here have healing properties. I could make something that will help ease the pain, cool the burn, speed the healing process... maybe even minimize the buildup of scar tissue."
"Show off."
"Lazy."
"Hahhah, got me there!"

dragon_fire_313 Lum smiled at the boy, bending over slightly she she was within eye level with him. She glanced back at Roy for a moment before looking back to Akihiko. "No, we don't have to run around..." She said with a smile. "But what would you like to do? Roy and I would gladly be able to play with you until your parents call for you once more..." She told the boy, tucking a loose strand of her hair behind one ear as she awaited a response.

Lum laughed lightly, clasping her hands together, standing up as she did so. "I love that game!" She exclaimed before glancing at Roy with a cute smile.
Hitomi only sighed, laughing a tad at their friendly banter before she glanced over at Hotstreak. "I should at least try to wake him up, I'll just do it quickly and I'll keep a shield handy, just in case..." She said before she took off her pendant, which was glowing, and kneeled at his side, a violet aura beginning to form in her right hand, just in case she needed it. She then held it over his head as she closed her eyes. She began to chant some words as her aura as well as his own began to glow, the look of anti-gravity beginning to affect them both. She then opened her eyes, them glowing the same violet color as she entered his mind, trying to break him free of his subconscious bonds, in order to wake up.

Lum smiled as she took Roy's hand in her own and began to lead him down the hall, walking in stride with him as they followed the young boy. "See? This is what I want," She whispered to her fiance, looking up at him as she did so. "I want a child, whom I could care for and love, but also have fun with him like this when he's older..." She told him with a smile.

Oomizu had snuck a device into one of the Jackbots so she could listen in t conversations and figure out what it was the new Jackbots did in their free time since they had some artifical intelligence. She heard what Gear said and pouted before pressing the symbol the was on her chest and used the Jackbot to speak. It wasn't hard to tell it was her since it was like using a walkie-talkie. "Oy! Geeeeear!" This she whined a little. "It's my job to heal people and stuff. Leave my patients alone, you job thief! Hitomi-chan, I'll be there the second I'm done healing people in the hospital. Hang on just a little while longer, kay?" And with that the conversation on her side ended.
((By the way, that was really pretty. 3nodding ))
Kikyo smiled and nodded. "Yes. Perhaps we should just let her be for a while..." She then smiled at the part here Kirara said she should be proud. "No, I shouldn't, because I already am. Oomizu is a good girl... when she wants to be. And she is very smart. She'll accomplish great things at her own pace."
Ed blushed a little when Rosette hugged hm and kissed him on the forehead and rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, uh, what was I supposed to do? Leave you down there? I'm not some cold-hearted jerk who leaves their friends behind C'mon. We got people in there we need to get out."
Marta looked over to Pirogoeth, who was already leaving, and turned quickly to run after her. "Hey! Pirogoeth! Wait up!"

Lum then smiled as they all made their way down the corridor, then to the outside of the hospital. She smiled at Akihiko while still holding Roy's hand. "Okay Akihiko," She began as she tucked a loose strand of her long hair behind one ear. "Who would you like to be it? Me, Roy, or yourself?" She asked with a cute giggle.
Kirara smiled at Kikyo and nodded gently. "But it's slightly funny, how things have all changed since we were back in the feudal era all those years ago. You with Link, and having a daughter and another one on the way. Inuyasha being with Temari and having a child of their own. And Miroku, who found Ai after losing Lita. It's all so exciting really..." She said with a slight sigh of happiness, staring up at the sky as she did so.
Rosette soon let go of him and smiled, her headache beginning to die down now. She then nodded before she reached into one of her holsters and grabbed a revolver, loading it with holy water-filled bullets before she cocked it back, her finger now on the trigger. "Just in case." She told Ed with a smile before she grabbed his human hand and began to lead him inside, her gun at the ready as well.

"Alright Lum-chan I'll see you in a minute." Roy said as he walked off in a different direction then Akihiko.

Kikyo smiled and nodded. "One of these days I may go back to where I was born in order to see my sister and the village we lived in together. I have not been there in such a long time... But it is amazing how much has changed."
Ed saw her take out the gun and had a sudden flash back of his own world. She reminded him of Hawkeye. How she always carried around that gun of hers and willingly shot it at anything that she thought should be shot out. Heck! The woman shot at a puppy just because he tinkled on the wall of one of the head quarters! He shook his head and laughed nervously. "Uh, yeah, sure. Just in case." He turned and went into the building, checking to make sure everything in there was fine and safe until he came to a room where he could hear whimpering.

Jack laughed. He had to hand it to the girl, she really knew her robotics.
"I-I wasn't... trying to steal anything..." Gear replied, a little confused.
"Don't worry about it. Oomizu can get a bit possessive, from time to time."
While Hitomi was digging around inside his head, Hotstreak was reliving a memory he'd rather forget. In this dream/memory, he was six years old again, pale and lying on a hospital bed. Despite the pallor of his skin, his hair was just as bright red as it is now, obviously without the blond streaks. There was an IV attached to his arm, along with several wires coming from him attached to various monitoring machines. It would be chilling to just about anyone to see a young child look so lifeless...
