Alex was relieved that Tynan didn't notice that he wanted to say something else. "So, where do you think we should go when spring comes? We can go anywhere." Alex smiled.

"Anywhere is fine with me.

He watched Alex with a slightly curious look on his face.

He handed Tynan the last dish and walked out of the kitchen still blushing.

Tynan quickly dried the last dish off and stacked them all in a neat pile before chasing after Alex.
He grabbed his arm and stopped him.
"Please tell me?"

Alex chewed on his lip for a minute. "I-I was the one who got you out of that army base..." He blushed.

Tynan had a serious look on his face, wanting to know how this had happened and why.

Alex sighed. "The U.S. Army killed my master. I don't know if you know it or not, but he was one of the most powerful vampires. And I guess they wanted to take him back to the U.S. for tests. He fought them and killed them."
Alex paused. "Since I was there they took me instead. They took me from Japan to the States. I got revenge for my master. I killed everyone in the base and freed all the vampires they had captive."
Alex's gray eyes filled with tears thinking of his lost master.

Tynan was in shock.
"Wow.."
Wall he could think to say.
He hugged Alex and clung to him, tears filling his eyes, from happiness and from sadness.

At least his master didn't die in vain. He got to save Tynan. Who knew they'd meet up again years down the road.
