Bryce actived his saber and a blue blade came out of the hilt. Bryce looked at the beam, it was unlike anything he had ever seen before. He did some very basic swings with it, but like Master Kari had said their was no wieght to it. Bryce took a few deep breaths when he felt he was ready for this duel. He just wanted to learn as much as he could and this was something new.

Don't worry, this is just practice and you will learn more from doing. Bryce will do fine.

Bryce took a deep breath and exhaild. He could feel the force, however wether he could use it and the saber at the same time was something he was about to find out. Bryce roze the saber above his head and swung straight down at Venok.

Bryce kept blocking all the attacks from Venok but it was becoming harder and harder. Bryce had no practice with a saber before yet it seem to come easy to him, at least more then moving the boxes. Bryce knew if he didn't do something to break Venok's offence he was going to lose the duel soon. With one lock to his left side he pushed Venok's blade back and sung from Venok right down, hoping he wouldn't have time to stop it.

Glacian looked on with intrest, watching the two new padawans and thinking back to his first practice duels with his fellow padawans, Zeth in particular. If he had been weakerm the very though of Zeth would have made his blood boil. But he had accepted Zeth's choice, it was his to make after all, he just hoped Zeth would not be an opponent in his future, he was his fellow padawan once after all.

"Bryce you seem to be using a rudamentary version of form V, the offense to Venok's defensive form III." Glacian said, giving some knowldge and advice. "They work together with unparalleled ability, but against each other, they are nearly even. The form V may have a slight advantage, depending on the endurance and strength of the two duelist really. I'll give you both some ideas on improving your skill in the art you choose. In form V you make more definite, strong swings, ment to put your foe off balance and make clean, fast, but controlled cuts. But you never swing the entire way unless you know you can hit, otherwise you leave yourself open to a counter attack. For form III you need to keep the saber as close to your body as possible and move your saber as little as possible, creating a orb of security around you that you can quickly defend with fast reactions and little physical effort, it lets you have high defense and last longer in a fight or take on many blaster wielding foes at once with ease."

Venok smiled, yet didn't reply. Catching his breath, he stood up and charged at Bryce. He now focused the force on his jump, letting it guide him [this time successfully] onto the ground behined Bryce. He then went to strike his lower back.

"Ahh!!" Venok put his hand where he had been shocked. I should have studied him more, or at least listened to master Glacian. He picked himself up and smiled " I guess I should stick to force using" he laughed a bit before shaking Bryce's hand. " Well done Bryce" he deactivated his lightsaber before bowing to him.

"Indeed" he replied, he was still rather dissapointed with his actions, but soon brushed them off.
Venok then walked up to Kira and Glacien. "Well now that that is over, what would you have us do?" He asked, bowing to them afterwards.
