((I'll have to put Dih-Ji in here somewhere. X3 but yay i've finally read all the posts. ))
Wokovu came bounding up the hill, only catchgin a glimpse of his old freinds romping off down some other hill. Ofcourse.. Yakuti had given him a stuttered explination about he birds and the bees when he had overseen two creatures and became curious. So.. boys fell in love with girls and then had cubs. Same with all animals. He should find a girl soon, shouldn't he?
But there was no time for that now. "Hide me! Hide me!" he yelped, scrambling behind the two largest of the group. Koho and Mwali.
Yakuti was soon following, having woken up around sundown and finding him missing. She made quick time of finding him.. and then trying to catch him so she could give him a peice of her mind. She slowed to a stop, glaring at the hiding lion cub. Of course.. he was twice her size now, but that wouldn't stop her from being the scary peeved mother.
Large funnled ears folded back against her head as she padded up infront of the lions. Oh dear.. Lions.. Big.. Lions... No, No. Its just mwali she tried to calm her rapid beating heart and get back to the task at hand.

((Omy goodness, I always had just enough time to finish reading the posts, but never enough time to make a post of my own, sorry for holding everyone up stressed )) Koho tried to put on some face of elegance as she balanced carefully on her prince's back, hoping not to fall into to the water a third time, or was it fourth? She couldn't remember, all she knew was that the water was starting to evaporate in the bright sun and mud was caking on her poor fur. She scampered off Mwali as soon as she was close enough to the shore that she wouldn't get anymore wet. As she looked back at him she was contemplating acting outraged, but his face already looked so abashed, and the little kiss and the apology, she just couldn't. She wasn't really mad, just a bit uncomfortable.... She stood back as he shook out his fur, but as soon as he sat down to groom himself, she curled up with her body close to his and started trying to get the mud out from between her toes. It made walking feel so strangely!
A soft smile appeared on her maw as another of the lost cubs returned. She hadn't known any of them too well, but she did remember little Tuele. She was quite flattered at his comment about Koho protecting Mwali now and it likely showed on her face as a bright glint of warm, fuzzy happiness came into her eye. This quiet happiness was quickly shattered at the little yelp of Hide me! and another furball ducked behind the two big lions. Koho amusedly complied with the request, making her body mass a bit bulkier and going back to cleaning her toes non-chalantly. This being so, she didn't notice as another prideland creature crept up to the group. Oh well, Mwali would likely know them all anyway.

"I love you too Sukutu." She purred and nestled into him. "We better head back, the others will be looking for us, and we must rest up for our journey." She was tempted to stay down there in the grass with him forever, the bright stars shining like a halo overhead, but she knew they must go. She gave him a quick kiss, and started back up the hill. She could see thee others all together now, and the soggey looking Koho looking very disgruntled about being in the water. She laughed and stared off into the distance at her and Mwali. Maybe her and Suku would be like that someday...unless they already were. She sprinted forward, greeting Tuele and Woko with a low growl. "Hey guys, I havent seen you in forever." She grinned and pulled at Tuele's ear like she used to do when they were younger.

((*dies at cuteness* gonk heart ))
The young male smiled warmly, looking up at the starry sky that was painted with the last tints of orange and red from the sun, he then gave a small purr at the kiss he was given and folowed her. He was truly happy now, not only did he get his feelings out in the open, the girl he loved returned those feelings to him, he felt like he was running on air as he followed this angel from heaven, today was now marked down as one of the best in his life. His pale eyes picked up on the figures of his mother and Mwali, smirking slightly as the two where surrounded by the two cubs, he then looked to Teule and gave a playful grin before he ran at the juvenille and started batting the tuft of his white little tail in greeting.

Mwali chuckled at the little white cub's comment, reaching down to pat him on the head with a massive crimson paw, "You know me Teule. Always getting myself into one mess or another. I need all the protection I can get. A big strong lion like yourself will send even the firekin huntress running at the sight of you." He paused as Wokovu came darting towards them, pleading to be hidden. With a smile Mwali seized the little creature, pulling him inbetween his paws as he laid down as casually as he could. His large fluffy mane was still damp but it was one heck of a hiding place. Clearing his throat he turned his head and began helping Koho groom herself, his tounge pulling the moisture and dirt from the more difficult to reach areas such as the back of her neck, back, and face. He still had a horrilbly playful look to him though his comment about the huntress had got him thinking.
There were three of them, three bloodthirsty females who had devoted themselves to his father's rule and old ways of the pack. Even if he was their prince and the son of their beloved tyrant, they very well might attack him in accordance with the old ways. He'd have to slip from the group while they slept and face them alone...knowing them they'd want to come and keep him safe but they'd only be putting themselves into danger and he could hardly think to protect himself... much less a group of them. A paw moved to offer Koho an odd embrace as he began licking her face, his eyes had turned from playful to a bit sad. This very well could be him walking to his death but there just was no avoiding it. They'd die out there... Sooner or later the cubs' impure blood would be found out and it would lead to the pride tearing itself apart from the inside out. Somehow he'd have to try and find a way to at least get a tolerence for the other prides out of those old traditionalists but he just couldn't think of how... goddess knew he wasn't clever nor very gifted in the arts of manipulation.
At least he had something to fight for now. Before if he had been faced with the situation he'd not try to survive it. Before he had no friends, no family he could say that he loved, and no one that he cared for like he cared for Koho now. Now... he had a family-a minature pride even. Little sisters and brothers, even of other species. He had a lover and nothing could come between them. He knew even that would raise hell. With Kui gone and his cubs all halfbreeds, Mwali was the last of the pureblooded males for the Firekin, his heart belonged to a pridelander and he'd not forsake her for even the reason of keeping the pure blood within the pride. At his death he'd take the blood of the firekin with him and he knew it. He could almost feel his father and brother cursing him from wherever their spirits rested. You are not so unlike me, Kui... your heart belonged to a golden lioness as well. It's time for this foolishness in pure blood to end.
He took a long breath and just laid his head down on Koho's shoulders, starring out towards the desert.

Teule grinned widely at his grown brother, looking where the source of his fear was coming from. Yakuti! Of course, he'd forgotten the fox held an amazing power over him. Teule smiled knowingly at Koho, batting his tail which was soon being swatted at by Suku and his ear was being gnawed on thoroughly by Jasiri. Teule’s blank eyes gave a Suku a knowing look before growling and trying to tug his ear away from Jasiri, laughing the entire time. Teule smirked, pausing while he talked to tug away his ear.
“I know..Mwali, I know…err.”
Snorting, he freed his ear and fell forward a bit, giving the two a thin grin. It seemed to be saying, ‘Do you have something to tell me?’ He fixed his ear, pawing at the fur lightly. He fixed his necklace of hyena teeth and pushed the painted band up his forearm.
Taka smirked happily, lunging towards Yakuti and scooping her up into her clawed paws. She hugged her to her cheek, keeping her paws in check so she didn’t grab Yaku’s fluffy tail and do something she’d regret with it. ‘So fluffy.’ Coughing, she set Yaku down, the poor thing was probably frightened beyond belief.
“Yaku! Where have you been? We’ve missed ya.”
Taka batted her tail eagerly on the ground, flashing the currently cuddled Woko a loving smile. She noted Teule’s smile, something too similar to hers. She wondered how he’d react to Jasiri and Sukutu. She had explained the whole love thing while on their journey but she could tell he was mature enough to understand the situation and handle it maturely.

Iris_Virus -Standing as well he began to follow, near enough to try to help her if her steps faltered, Mufasa gave his mate a gentle smile. No need to worry her right now about the things going on around them, they could wait for her to feel better. She always had been, and always would be, his number one priority.- Sarabi smiled at her mate, a sweet, secret smile. "Come on, Love!" She broke into a trot, then a gallop, working muscles stiff from fever and disuse. The exertion felt good as the muscles warmed up, adding to the inner glow she already had. Sarabi was so excited now that she felt as though she would burst with happiness. It showed on her face as she smiled radiantly, eye glowing. The cool scent of water met her nose meer moments before the sleek gold body plundged into it. Water sloshed up her legs and stomach and over her back. It felt so good to her parched body, and she stopped to take long laps of water to cool her throat as well. A purring picked up in her chest and settled there, refuseing to dampen or quiet. Nothing could ruin this most perfect of days, she thought as she watched her mate come along behind her.

Its up to us to choose the birthing time, and I thought it might be better afterwards, but not if you guys take a month to get back xp ))

((How funny is that, I like.. NEVER breed my pets, but at the moment I'm part of two pregnencies XD I love it.
Hrmm and I really should make myself some of those thingies.. they make everything so much easier to find ^ ^ wink )
"Careful!" -The startled yelp was quieted quickly however, as he picked up the pace to follow a few lengths behind. Dark eyes adjusting quickly to the bright light, he gave a quick glanceout across the savannah, before heading quickly after Sarabi, slowing only as he neared the watering hole. A large yawn escaped him, causing a small shudder from his large frame before he sat along the edge. Eyes rested upon his mate, a soft smile on his maw, he rested along the edge of the shore, letting the sun bake comfortably against his golden pelt and mane.
Her backward glance tempted him forward, and before Mufasa knew it the cool water was halfway up his haunches, and he rest a few feet from Sarabi, debating whether or not to roll and get his back and mane wet as well.-

The Queen of the Pridelands watched her King through slitted eyes, then when he had settled, she pounced on him. Wrapping strong forelegs around his neck, she nibbled on one ear, her purr growing stronger as her tail lashed back and forth in the water. The savannah sun was creeping slowly up over the edge of the horizon, warming the sky from deep indigo to vibrant red, orange, and yellow. There was little worry over crocodiles here. They'd have to be desperate to attack two full grown lions, and there was plenty of other game around. Which also reminded Sarabi that she'd had little to eat through her illness, being uninterested in eating, and being seldom able to keep it down if she did manage to eat something. ((edit: oops, seems the roleplay was at night whee I didn't really read the previous posts, so I didn't realize that. heh heh... ninja ))

((*poiks to her last post* Obviously I didn't either, whoops e.e ))
-The 'attack' brushed away his thoughts of rolling, instead a playfully growl rumbled low in his throat, before he attempted to affectionately n** at one of those forelegs holding him. Quite unphased by the difficulty of the action, he murred a little softly at her own affections, before beginning to pad deeper into the waters, so they'd still be able to splash up on her sides as well from her 'perch'.
Grinning a little to himself he offered a soft tease up to her, more out of relief then anything.- "Who knew water would revive you so. I should have dumped you out here long ago."

Sarabi chuckled and released the captive ear. "Perhaps. But then again, the prospect of being a mother again is very appealing." She rubbed her head against his, purring hard with her forepaws still tight around his neck. Sarabi loved the way his mane smelled, like grass and sunshine and big cat.

Wokovu grinned, being sucessfully hidden. He peered up over the red paws, they were still quite bigger than he was, out at his mother. His ears dropped back against his head at her stern look, before jerking back up as she was attacked by the cheetah.
Yakuti nearly died as she was attacked by.. something. She wasn't sure what yet, but whatever it was had ahold of her. Her allready huge eyes went wide as her entire body frizzed, heart nearly pounding out of her chest. Then she was set onto her paws, which soon fell out from underneith her as she stared up at Taka, apparently having turned into a pile of goo. "T-T-Ta..ka.." her ears flicked as she tried to smile.
"Yea.. You too.." she slowly pulled herself into a sit, taking a few seconds to groom her fur back down. Having forgotten all about Wokovu in the moment.
