uuuummmmmmmmm i know its Aeris because on the movie cloud always stared at her when she appeared(but she was dead i thought but helped him,she was in the life stream anywayz(her body) but not her soul) well i'm sure its Aeris??? oh nvm!! sweatdrop

so no duh its going to appear cloti
because its from tifa's perspective
not once in the story does it show clouds thoughts
or feelings
so evidence for cloti? no
evidence to see how tifa feels? yes

well no duh she's jealous because she cant be with cloud
in the physical sense
she is not giving up she just realizes that shes not going to come back to life
she wants to take of him because she knows that really shes the only one who can take of him
beyond the physical extent It may be Case of Tifa, but she does see how Cloud acts, like how she noticed his change in behavior and what he says. It's enough to assume what Cloud feels in the way he acts. (ex. Blushing) Aeris couldn't love Cloud because he was Cloud because she never got to meet him. Even though she said, "I want to meet the 'real' you", it never happened. She only found out about his true feelings and past through Tifa in the Lifestream. She may say that she loves him, but what part of that is love is for Cloud? Alright. I have got to agree with the fact that there IS a life after death. There is a way that the people we love protect us in their spiritual form. It's the same with Aerith. She protects EVERYONE-even Tifa and especially Cloud-after she dies. It's obvious that you haven't read the official story written by Square Enix. (I keep forgetting the name! 0_0) It's about Aerith in the planet. She's there protecting everyone and meeting all the people who have died during the game. i.e. Jessie, Wedge, and Biggs. Dyne.... It tells how Aerith was there with Tifa-spiritually-while Cloud had mako poisoning. She got to know the real Cloud because of that and loved him even more. She got her wish. Actually, I did read "The Maiden". I don't think you looked into what I posted. "She only found out about his true feelings and past through Tifa in the Lifestream." Sorry, I didn't mean to put that she "never" found out who he was. It's a fact that she did finally found out who Cloud really was.

the fact is he liked tifa because she was his childhood friend (not to mention her boobs), but because he was a sephiroph clone and they gave him zacks body he was subliminally atracted to areis because zack was her first boyfriend and both her and sephiroph ansestors are ancients (well not really sephiroph but kinda) any way thats why he thought he liked her, as for yuffie cloud doesn't even really like her. ninja

A) They weren't childhood "friends", more like "mutual acquaintances".

C) Zack's body? Since when? I'm pretty sure Cloud has his OWN body. He's not a Sephiroth clone; those were...False memories, I believe. As far as I know, he had a mother and a father. (Well, we have no idea who his father is, but whatever.) Also, please, A-e-r-i-th (or s). NOT "Areis" or "Areis" or some other wonky spelling. Sephiroth, also. What does Sephiroth's having Jenova cells in him have to do with anything in the LTD?

cloud would be more capatible with aeris but since she dies(sephiroth was jelous XD) he would only have tifa yet in the movie you can tell he still loves aeris and on the game(still playing) he begins to show his feelings for aeris at the end of the first disc
aeris pov- she wanted to get to know the REAL cloud not zack she loved cloud because she had seen zack in him but told him on the date she wanted to meet the real him not someone else (meaning zack) on their date aeris and him were in a play to which cloud kisses her hand showing true love (if you used codes he actually kisses her on the lips and afterwards they begin blushing) aeris cant help but to help cloud and she and him have alot in common yet she dies so tifa was an only option
tifa pov- tifa and cloud grew up together right? cloud use to adore her when he was small the relationship differs when he comes back (2nd disc)on the 2nd disc she is affraid when sephiroth begins to talk about their past cloud and tifa began to say it was an illusion yet when they had seen the picture tifa had changed when the illusion had began zack had appeared since on after that tifa was particaily silent she would say anything but to deny it sephiroth threaten tifa to show what was in her heart makeing tifa scared because (later on tifa shows she use to love zack) later on in the game tifa adimits she wants to be by clouds side (in his mako poisning time) no matter what and she didnt care what else happens
end of game: (if aeris is alive seemingly u play the computer verison) tifa and cloud will be sitting next to each other talking (nothing special)

During the shattered mirror portion of the game in Clouds mind, Cloud spills his guts to Tifa in order to help put himself back together and Tifa realises he loved her too, but she wouldnt tell him about that. Bottom line between Cloud and Tifa is that they have loved each other for a LONG time, though neither party is willing to take down their defenses and tell the other. If I feel like further elaborating, I will, but I have to shower and go to a hockey game.

reguardless of if you read the maiden or not in the game
you can see that she loves cloud for cloud
she states in the date scene that she realizes that Cloud is not Zack
she realizes that! so what does that mean? if she knows that they are nothing alike then how the hell can she love cloud because of zack?
and actually Aerith knew quite a lot about Cloud
She asked Marlene about him
and she was always talking to Cloud, asking him questions
trying to break his cold exterior
Cloud may have confused some of his memories with Zack, but he did not "become" Zack.
if you actually paid attention to the game at all, you will see that Zack and Cloud are exact opposites
Zack was a "ladies man" ery outgoing
Cloud is introverted and cold
So how can you say Aerith didn't get to know the "real" Cloud
when he was there all along?
The only memories Cloud confused with Zack's are the memories regarding SOLDIER
Cloud never "became" Zack
Besides, if Aerith didn't know the "real Cloud", Tifa sure didn't either
She and Cloud were little more than strangers as children
Tifa herself stated this
In fact, Tifa didn't really start getting to know Cloud until he joined AVALANCHE many years later
right about the time he met Aerith
So, what applies to Aerith applies to Tifa as well
if the maiden was 'fan-work that was endorsed into production' then wouldnt that also apply to 'on the way to a smile' since that was also not officially written by square
I think this picture is a great way to portray how aerith feels about the whole cloud/zack thing

Well, you'd probably only want to read "The Maiden" if you want to find out how Aeris really feels for Cloud and her involvement in the lifestream to save the planet.
