Hmm, I'm sure I've been in this guild before, but I'll introduce myself again.
I'm SpaceTerminal Destiny, or Des for short. I'm not exactly a Christian. I am part of religion that literally absorbs other faiths into it; the system is called Chaos Magic. So I'm here to learn more about the Christian religion on a more personal and practical scale.

Hello, I'm Cat I'm an adult gaian. I actually heard about gaia through youth group. And that was many yrs ago, I have since made great friends here. But I feel that one huge thing that is lacking in gaia is the presence of of hope through Jesus Christ. If any one would like to add me please feel free!

My name is Christopher, but God renamed me Kael a few months ago. I'm 19, and I am the worship leader for Chi Alpha at TSU. I have been prophesied over as a psalmist, with the same gifts as King David. I tell you this not to boast, but to show you who I am, fully in Christ. smile
I am an art major at Tarleton State University, I plan on being an art teacher, and a worship pastor. I am a published poet and I believe in expanding the mind in all ways is the most healthy application we can utilize.

I completely understand you here on this one... I don't understand him either. I mean, I know what he is saying, but I don't think I grasp the concept of... Well, to each their own I suppose. Maybe he will explain more later on.

Hello. I have been saved for about 8 yrs.
I live in Pennsylvania. My boyfriend is will be getting a job soon.
I am in the process of advertising for him as he is also a DJ.
I am getting a Maltese tomorrow.
I like playing video games.
I am getting married Sept. 5.
I would like to start a guild though I do not have enough gold.
I am trying to lose weight for the wedding.

I'm not officially a part of this guild... I sent a request but it seems that it has been ignored for some reason. Oh well... I'll introduce myself anyway, seeing as I have been posting here.
I'm Alex. You can simply call me Agent if you wish.
I'm not a Christian, as my posts would imply.
I'm an Eclectic Pagan... I've been on this path since I was 12 years old.
I'm here because I like learning about different religions.
I try to be nice, so I'm sorry if I come off as an arse, I try to keep it under control.
I'm very open-minded and I like to question a lot of things.

I've just sent a request to join this guild, but couldn't wait for the reply!
I'm not a Christian, though I have been one in the past. I would describe myself as "between faiths", or a seeker, in any case I am interested in and knowledgeable about Christianity. I am certainly not anti-Christian, far from it.
In terms of how I interpret the Bible, I am a liberal, and enjoy reading books that I doubt most people here would appreciate (for example: "Queering Christ" by Robert Goss), I also enjoy reading rabid fundamentalist literature, although I do not agree with it (pet bugbear: "KJV has no copyright" - pm me for more details of why that isn't true).
Anyway, I'm looking forward to discussing stuff with you all.

Hey all. I am a believing, commited follower of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. I was a MK (missionary kid) and a PK (pastor's kid) when I was a kid (I'm 20 right now). I have a strong fundamentalist background-- I still believe that the Bible (original texts, there may have been minor errors in translation and transcription) is the perfect, inspired word of God.
I have been involved with churches and fellowships of many different bents, learning from Catholics, charismatics, and liberals. I am an Intervarsity student leader and have spent 5 years involved with the college fellowship now.
The most valuable aspect of my character that God granted to me is probably my rationality. I have an extremely open mind, and regularly question very large elements of my beliefs, trusting that the truth will reveal itself. For example, despite my fundamentalist background, I have recently changed my views on the origin of Man to a version of theistic evolution (no offense to any Creationists who are also trusting in God). My questionings have also very thoroughly convinced me of the authenticity of our faith, despite many severe doubts along the way.
Some other background info:
I will be a Junior at Claremont Mckenna College in the Fall, majoring in Government with a Leadership Sequence (minor). I am contracted on scholarship with Army ROTC. I am the second-eldest of nine living children (all of us homeschooled through high school). I am a devoted writer working on a trilogy of epic fantasy novels right now.
And finally, though I am very good at figuring 'the truth' about things, I am no better than the next Christian when it comes to acting on what I know is right and so I do need fellowship to flourish. I hope that I can be a blessing to some of you through encouragement and edification, even as I am also sharpened by you.
