Quartz was still wandering around and looking at the different things there were to see. There were also a lot of freshlings around. Quartz and Khiran hadn't started Academy just yet, but they were due to soon. It was a little intimidating to see all the other freshlings running around, but also a bit exciting. Quartz hoped they would be able to make some new friends, though she loved both her siblings bunches so it was okay if she didn't.

Quartz paused and craned her head to look up at the giant Academy building. "Can we go in and look around a little," she asked her mom.

Allumin was still rather baffled that he now had two new familiars to bring home with him. He looked between the purple and red jackalope. He supposed he'd have to think of a name for the red one now. It wriggled in his arms until it was on it's back. With it's four little paws sticking up in the air, it wiggled and batted them at Allumin's face. The nixie stumbled a little as Baron, apparently jealous of his attention being elsewhere, jumped and clawed it's way up onto his backpack. "I feel like a pack animal." he complained. The red one blinked it's dark eyes at him, then opened it's mouth and...spit out a stone. What on earth!? Allumin picked up the stone and stared at the pink thing before he tucked it into his pocket. Allumin looked about and sighed. "Okay. I think it's time we head back to the dorm. I need to introduce you two to Radiance. I hope she doesn't start knocking things over..." He mused worriedly as he began to wander back to the school.

Lachlan petted his coatl with one hand while he happily hugged the most soft and squishy plushie he'd ever had. It wasn't as special as Mr. Turtle, but he loved it already. As he slithered around, he realized that there were less people around. Was it all over? He wasn't sure if he was relieved or sad. As the naga started to head back to his dorm room with his treasures, a lady at a candy booth waved at him. When Lachlan cautiously approached the goblin lady, and blinked when she handed him a bag of candies. Apparently it was time to close up, and she had extras. So she was giving them away. Lachlan was surprised. He tucked the candies into his sweater as he mused. "I like candies...I will only eat one every day, and only after homework is done." He decided. The coatl around his neck hissed softly and poked it's nose into Lachlan's sweater neck. Giggling softly he nudged the familiar's nose out. "No. Candies bad for you. I will find you good treats. I promise' He said as he happily carried his new friend back to his room.

Aaah. Laurel blushed and fidgeted a little, tail swishing behind her. "It's for my boyfriend. He asked me out with this super romantic move, and gave me this really pretty necklace." She gently tapped a claw to her treasure, fastened around her neck. "I feel like bad, cause I never noticed. I mean we've been friends for a while and he said he liked me for a long time, but," Laurel trailed off, blushing again. "Anyway, he's always doing all these sweet things for me, so I wanted to be a good girlfriend and do something nice in return. I thought a ring would be nice, and the purple kinda sorta matches my fur." She looked a bit worried, hoping it didn't sound like a bad idea, or a conceited gesture.

Laurel waved a paw, not in the least bit offended. She was known to drift away into thought as well, so she could relate. The encouragement made he smile. "Thanks. We were planning a pick nick once we get a bit of warm weather. I think I might give it to him then." She tucked the ring carefully in her pocket, already wondering if she should try to plot something out or if it would be better to just present Flax the right. Aah, romance was so hard for her. Well, she would work something out. This was for Flax after all!

"I'm going to head back to my dorm before it gets later. It's still cold and night, and I seem to have the worst luck with cold weather. She gave the Geist another friendly grin. "I'm Laurel, by the way. Hope to see you around the Academy sometime!" And with that, Laurel turned and started threading her way through the sparse crowds and back to her warm dorm room.

He held her hand when she went to hold his, giving it a small squeeze as she spoke. So she had most likely liked him the whole time? That was news to him! However, that didn't matter now, for now they were an official couple ", I was just trying to treat you the way you deserved. You're such a kind soul, I couldn't help but be kind and sweet back," with his other hand he softly lifted her chin so she was looking back up at him ", Are you ready to head back to our dorms? It is getting late here after all, and I am sure you should be focusing on your studies some more."

Sirius had, for the most part, avoided the event with a ravenous craze. Hell no he was not attending! That is, until he heard about jewelry, and suddenly... stupidly, an idea hit him. So, with little thought, the hybrid rushed through the event, terrifying vendors as he demanded to know where the jewelry stands were until, finally, he found it. With a frightening face, he urged the vendor to giving him the last purple necklace, storming off.

There, the little s**t better like this.

Feeling her stomach grumbling for something substantial, Raleka ordered a ground meat turnover. "A prize in every pie!" the sign on the booth claimed, and she hoped she would get something good. Morginn received his food first, and he ate it, procuring a small ring. It was dainty, and a color she figured he would like.

When she received her order, the savory scent swam through her nostrils. It took all of her self control to not scarf down the delicacy, reminding herself that she didn't want to accidentally bite the prize. Sifting through the steaming food, she finally found it - a ring, the same style as Morginn's but a different color. It was equally clean, and it fit her finger perfectly.

"We match," joked Raleka, her voice lowered a little. A smile danced in her eyes as she looked at Morginn, then glanced around the party. It appeared to be winding down, but she had only felt like a short time had passed. "Thanks for hanging out with me tonight," the hybrid said sheepishly, glancing toward the floor. She admitted to herself that she hadn't had this much fun in a while. It was draining, but fun. She wouldn't mind hanging out with Morginn again.
