One more. She assured herself that way. Just one more was all it would take. Then another piece of her would feel whole. Complete.
She stepped onto the glider for the (hopefully) last time. There was no hesitation in her steps as she cranked the lever. This time, not a single hitch. She was flying, soaring. Adventure awaited!

Her resolve was absolute. Igny was focusing so hard that she leaned forward slightly, as if pushing the plane farther.
It caused a slight dip, but nothing significant. Just the usual ebb and flow a plane went through.

The winds were angry, blowing across her wings with a new ferocity. Even Igny wasn't invincible. She gasped, losing her balance for a moment.
The plane dipped, dancing along the fog's edge. No. No!

Igny stood firmly against the winds, keeping her stance as firm as rocks in the soil. Eventually she rode it out, and the skies cleared. On a tiny islet, she saw the familiar glow of the blessings. It was within sight!
She relaxed, leaning down into the wind now. The glider landed with a soft pat on the grass, and Igny ran towards the blessings. She was victorious!

The flight was the worrying part. She might have taken it twice before, but still, the fog enveloped her, unease settling in her stomach.
Mnezara breathed, almost wanting to close her eyes.

41-60: You feel shaky as you pass through this wisp of fog; a sense of unease and anxiety takes hold of you. If you make any mistakes, you'll fall. The certainty makes your stomach flip and you tense up. The fear of a long-ago pilot rolls through you.

The fog was getting to her. Mnezara squeezed her eyes shut just as a vision came to her. Fire, fire and heat everywhere, around her, above her, and she heard screams.
As she snapped out of it, her own screams were heard as she attempted to stabilize the glider's flight.
Altitude: 161-100=61
81-100: The fog brings not just a distant voice but a vision, overwhelming your own sight: the glider is burning. The world is tearing itself apart. Screams fill your ears. You cry out as your glider twists erratically and plummets before you stabilize it again and come back to yourself.

And then a horrible feeling sunk in and Mnezara felt herself shudder.
The glider began to sink and she crashed into the water.

61-80: A shock of anger hits you. how dare you, trespasser, violator. You get the horrible sense that you are intruding upon something holy that you have no right to even touch. The voice shouts at you; you can't understand the words, but they are very clearly angry. It shakes you to the core.

She was safe, but took a while to clamber out of the water and find her way back to the gliders again. Just one more time. She told herself.
This time, the flight started out well, and the voices speaking to her were kind.

1-20: You hear a gentle voice speaking words you can't understand, and feel a strange surge of emotion: joy. peace. holy duty. Your movements become more sure, as if you instinctively know how to pilot the glider for a few moments. You feel as if someone is smiling at you.
